Time to think

Things weren't going as well as one would have hoped. Things really weren’t going well. Jenifer had been round to see Khaat but she hadn’t gotten a response. She’d knocked a good ten times but nothing – absolutely nothing. The lights were on and everything but no one had thought to come and answer the door. Jen just wanted to make sure that Khaat was alright. Obviously she wasn’t allowed to do that.

So she made her way towards the Hogs Head where she decided it was best to spend the evening. Rob was goodness knows where. He was probably lying in a gutter somewhere. Then again, if he was with Gibbs then there was a good chance that he was alright and mildly sober. Either that or Gibbs was drinking him into the ground and Rob was just sort of... lying there.

Jen pushed open the door of the Hogs Head and worked her way over to the bar. She slipped her coat off and hung it on one of the hooks before sitting down on a bar stool. She waved over one of the bartenders and ordered a glass of red wine which he swiftly brought over to her. Jen didn’t even wait to find out what she was drinking; she just knocked it back and ordered another. It was insane but it was how she’d spend her night and it didn’t seem to bother her in the slightest.

Jack aperated into hogmead jessica was settled at the farm and busy cleaning she ahd done alot of that laty and so he decided to get out her way , heading towards hogsmead he slambed open the door and stormed over to the bar. "fire whisky " he said slambing down sevral coins on the bar "leave the bottle "he added as the bar man opend it and pored him a glass , thought the first one went down like mud he quickly drank the second feeling only a mild relif from his stress.

Jen pinched the bridge of her nose upon hearing the door crash open. She wasn't in the mood for a fight and she only had one gun on her as well as her wand. It wasn't the greatest time to be so unarmed. She sighed and ordered another glass of wine, this time telling them to put the bottle on the bar. She sipped some of the red liquid this time, deciding not to ruin her liver anymore than she already had in the space of a few minutes.

She recognised the groom from Khaat and Rob's double wedding. Weren't they meant to be in the middle of marital bliss? Rob and Khaat were but she'd screwed that up brilliantly. Jen closed her eyes, mentally asking the alcohol to hurry up and numb her mind. "Bad day?" she asked finally, glancing over at Jack.

Jack heard a voice as he downed his scond "you could say that " he said turning to see a young girl drinking some red wine "wern't you at the wedding , jenifer, jenifer dent" he said poring his thrid glass "robs sister" his voice sounding lke he ahd spat out robs name for what had happened between Khaat and him. H downed his third coughng only slightly as teh warm liquid rean down his throat "jessiaca , thats my wife, she's cleaning again, something to do with her pregnacy " he said

She picked up the bottle and poured a generous amount of wine into her glass. She put the bottle back down on the bar and lifted the glass to her lips, taking some of the liquid into her mouth and letting it roll over her teeth. She put the glass back down on one of the beer mats and nodded. “Yeah, I’m Rob’s older sister.” She didn’t miss the disdainful way in which he said her brother’s voice. Jen did freeze up a little but didn’t let it bother her too much. “I forgot to offer my congratulations at the festivities. I’m glad that there was truly something to celebrate. It’s not Rob’s fault really. He’s just got some issues like everyone else and he’s never been shown how to deal with them. It’s all about bottling things up in our family. Emotions are never the first thing someone notices. It’s usually the charm or the alcohol.”

Jack looked at her as she said she was robs sister, he didn't blame her for what had happend "thanks , and i guesss thats just how we men are , bottling things up like that" he said downing his drink he sighed feeling this warm the back of his throat as it slid down into his stomach, one that had been empty since that morning as he didn't feel like eating. "we all have issues but we don't all go running off from our wives" he said softly as she turned to lok closer at hre.
