Place: Diagon Alley, adjecent to, and connecting with Sparks, on the other side. In other words, Black Raven Bookstore connects on the left, as you stand in the street looking at Sparks, and Kate's connects on the right.
Items sold:
Paintings: 50-100 sickles for premade art. Wizarding portraits can be specially ordered, but their price is 200 sickles apiece.
Sculptures--50-100 sickles for premade art. Any material is available for sculpture--metals, stone, clay, softsculpture from fabrics, etc. Specially commissioned sculptures may be this price or may double, depending on the size and the medium wanted by the client.
Jewelry-25-50 sickles. Bracelets and rings are 25 sickles. Necklaces and other large types of jewelry items, or special commissioned itiems are 50 sickles.
Stained Glass Items--100-200 sickles. Each piece is handmade and can vary from windows, to large suncatchers, to lamps, etc. Price varies upon size or intricacy of the item. Special commission items will almost never be less than 200 sickles.
Gift Items--5-50 sickles, depending on the item itself. --can range from Katherine's handmade stoneware dishes and vases; hand woven or hand painted scarves or clothing, hand created cards or stationery, or any variety of gifts.
Many items can be especially made by Kathrine or other various local artisans. Artists offer their works at the shop through Katherine by consignment. Customers can specify colors, designs, etc.,but it could affect price. Katherine and the artists are looking more for the opportunity to do their art rather than on making rpices out of reach of anyone, and are aware that students do not have much money typically. So they do try to cater to everyone. Katherine owns the building, and has a large roomy art studio upstairs where she will offer classes to groups or individuals who are interested, or where private sittings for wizard portraits can take place.
