Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Setting - 2025 Empty Setting - 2025

Its important to read the setting your roleplaying in, so I have made this thread to explain the setting of PA.

The year is 2025, but that hardly has much to do with the setting. Its not like your role-playing in a futuristic planet. The muggle community has advanced but then, so have wizards. Wizards are now less clueless to the muggle customs and have even adopted some of them. The purebloods are dying out and an increasing number of wizards are half-bloods.

As we're onto the second plot, where Voldemort is gone, the wizarding community in Britain are far better off. People are enjoying their lives that are no longer cursed by Voldemorts shadow. However, some people are still worried that the Death Eaters are not totally gone, and the corrupt ministry is not doing enough to get rid of them once and for all. However, despite this odd bunch, the majority of people are enjoying the freedom that they were denied during Voldemorts reign.

At Hogwarts, it is a different story. With the new Headmaster, Vincent Majere, being very demanding of the students, who are constantly not living up to his expectations. Troublemakers are punished horribly, and under performing students are expelled without hesitation. Though Hogwarts is still not quite how it was under Dolores Umbridge, it is beginning to look like that.
