What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. As Bane looked at his reflection in the mirror, he adjusted his tie one more time. He let out a sigh and began once more to pace. He turned his head as he thought he heard footsteps coming down the stairs, but he was sorely mistaken. He thought for a brief moment that he had been mistaken and that this was the wrong place, or the wrong time, but he dismissed the idea, he sat down, and only hoped Willow would come in due time.

Willow was walking to the Yule Ball, very late. She had been studying for a test, when she finally remembered. She fixed her dress before noticing that Bane was just up ahead. "Hey Bane! What's up?" She asked as she trotted towards him in her silver pumps and purple evening gown.

Bane looked up and his jaw dropped. Willow looked amazing as she came down the stairs. He stood up keeping his left hand behind his back. He walked up to her and when he was right in front of her he stopped. "Wow... you... you look amazing." he said, he was at a loss for words. "These are for you," Bane said and from behind his back he pulled out bouqet of flowers and he handed them to her.

Willow smiled. "Aww, thanks, Bane. I was hoping you were going to be here and here you are," she said as she sniffed the flowers. "Do you wanna go inside? I'm pretty thirsty and could go for a cup of punch," Willow suggested as she tapped her toes on the floor, matching the beat to the soft music playing inside the doors.

Bane smiled, he would have to thank his sister for the flower idea. "Of course we can." Bane said, With that, he interlocked Willow's arm with his and he led her into the great hall where a large amount of people were dancing or milling around. He led her to the punch bowl, poured her a glass of punch and handed it to her. "So..." he said, he was still nervous nervous around her, even though she was his girlfriend. "I was wondering if you would um... award me with a dance after you finished your punch, then I had a late birthday present for you." he added.

"Of course," Willow smiled, blushing a dark shade of pink. She sipped the orangish punch and after a few seconds, the little plastic cup was empty and she was no longer thirsty. She crumpled the little mini cup and tossed it into the closest trash can nearby. It missed so she went over, picked it up, and tossed it in again, making it this time. "Yes," she whispered to herself and gave herself a mind high-five as she skipped back to the punch table.

Bane smiled as Willow returned, and he led her to the dance floor. He placed his hand awkwardly on her waist, and they began to dance. They moved rhythmically to the soft music playing in the background. He inched a little bit closer to her. He made sure no one was specifically looking at them, and he brushed a kiss along Willow's lips. "I love you." he said ever so softly into her ear.
