Outside the Yule Ball

Great, the yule ball again - Nathan hated the yule ball he was never a fan of dancing but he only came for his date, Nikki. She was the only one that made him excited to go to the ball, finally he wasn't going to go alone. He couldn't get her out of his head, every minute and days she'd be on his mind as if she was pasted onto his head; she was perfect everything about her was almost flawless. Nathan walked into the balcony just outside the yule ball which was inside the Great Hall, his eyes sparkled as the thought of her.

It was a beautiful nice, perfect for a dance but then again everything was always perfect at Hogwart. The star shined brightly from the sky and the moon stood, gracefully on the horizon watching as everybody enjoy the night -- Nathaniel wore a white tuxedo that had a black line which outlined the shape of his color , black formal pant. There was also a reddish bowtie below his neck to make him look handsome; it annoyed him that in a formal they had to have all their buttons up plus a tie. "How will we breath!" he thought to himself. In his hand he held a bunch of flowers, every single one of them were different colours he knew each of them had different meaning inside of them. He couldn't wait to see the expression on ehr face he gave her the flowers. Oh, did he mention he got a necklace for her as well that had a picture of him and her on each side of the golden heart-shaped locket.

It was going to be a lovely night.

Maddie looked around the Yule Ball sickenly, she couldn't believe she was here and her sister made her go. As she looked at the couple dancing all lovely dovey it made her feel sick and want to gag. "Ugh, this is making me sick I got to get out of here!"Maddie thought to herself as she walked through the couples dancing pushing them out of the way. As her red dress whipped passed her as she walked she finally made out to the balcony and sighed in relief but sstopped when she saw as boy all happy. Rolling her eyes she looked at the boy with disgust like he was a speck of dirt."Ugh, why is everyone so happy it's just a stupid dance with pathetic stupid little lovely dovey couples!"Maddie thought to herself almost gagging as she said that.

Nikki was still outside of Hogwarts, sitting and primping herself. She wasn't sure if she was allowed to be inside of Hogwarts for this event to get ready. Nikki was suprised to have found time to fit this into her busy schedule. You know, being Hannah, drop-out, and a mother. It was hard.

Nikki had her hair up in a nice tight bun but her long fringe was cool and loose, covering her ears. She wore a sparkly creme coloured dress. It was a long dress. It was a v-neck and was of course sleeveless. It looked like a two-piece outfit rather than one. It was like she put on the big frilly dress, then the top and snapped on the belt to make it into one. The only jewellery she wore was big sparkly earrings and that was it. Luckily no one could see her shoes because she didn't have time to buy nice, high heel comfy pumps so she just stuck with creme coloured high sandals.

And of course the make-up. This time, Nikki stuck with natural colours and stayed away from dark colours as this was supposed to be a cool fun outing and so she had light coloured foundation, blush, eyeshadow, lip gloss and the whole lot, oh and perfume, must'nt forget perfume on a dancing night with sweatiness. Ga-ross!!

Nikki was done making herself look and smell nice so she got up from where she sat and entered the school. She then made her way to the Great hall. She took a deep breath, opened the doors and smiled. She stood at the entrance for a minute and then continued to walk in further in the hall and just stood there on that spot embarrased, confused, alone and just a little bit nervous. Why? She really couldn't answer that question right now.
