Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Lesson Three - O.W.L. Empty Lesson Three - O.W.L.

Post by James William Wilson Mon Nov 23, 2009 11:30 am

Professor Wilson entered his classroom. He passed through the empty desks and sat on his chair. He took his wand out and pointed it at the blackboard. Suddenly, a lot of text appeared. Why? He liked to let the students copy the important information and then listen to his lesson without the worry of writing his lesson down. That causes distraction. He then pointed his wand at the desks, and a note appeared on them: ''Copy the text from the blackboard!'' It was just a note for the students who came to the class to copy the text. After all of them were finished, he would start talking. He was done so he had some time to relax before the class starts. Again the same routine, the one thing he disliked about teaching.

Hafiz entered the class. He saw a loads of tanggling words on the blackboard. He smiled to the professor. How are you sir?, as he took his seat. He take out his quill and book. He sighed before he began to write on the blackboard.

"Good morning sir," James said as he entered the class and took a seat. "How's your day been so far?" he asked as he whipped out his own notebook and read the board. He began to copy the text with mechanical precision.

''Fine and fine, to answer both your questions. Today's lesson is Muggle Biology. Muggles, both in their schools and in their jobs, explore biology from a different angle that Wizards. They do research about the human organism and how it functions, about different organs and systems... about everything regarding the human life. Wizards do not have such developed methods. Everything wizards know about humans they owe to Muggles, which is a reason more why we have to respect them. They are the ones that managed to explain why we can walk, talk, eat, breathe, think and so on. That is the main branch of Muggle Biology.

But, since I will keep this short because of the quantity of people present... there is another branch that interests me more, right now. Muggle Zoology. Since I am truly mad at your idiotic colleagues who have not bothered to show up... I will give you a homework assignment. Differences between Zoology and our Care of Magical Creatures. The deadline is 1 DECEMBER. I hope you have a pleasant time researching. Class dismissed.''
, he said.

(Next class during the weekend... the last class of the semester)
