Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

How she had sqirmed her way out of Hogwarts really wasn't anyones business, the point was that she was no longer in the grounds. Ginevra had not felt like being cooped up, and so she did what she always did and left. Leaving the grounds swiftly being undetected, she had made her way to the close location known as the Firebird Bar. Every single time that she entered there was such an urge to roll her eyes. It wasn't a bar of any sort, it was a pub. Why they didn't call it that, she wasn't sure, but it was just one of those small things that got under her skin for no reason whatsoever. At least not one that anyone would count as mattersome. Sitting down in the very back, Ginevra found herself with her black hoodie up and her blue jeans crossed over each other with her legs. In her hand was a butterbeer and on her lips was nothing. She had yet to take a drink from her mug. Instead she just stared down at it, moving the cup slowly back and forth. She was watching the liquid move back and forth seveal times, and continued this for ten minutes. Ginevra was very unaware of her surrondings for only a few moments before she heard a voice but didn't bother to look up. It had startled her, she just didn't care enough to see whom the voice matched too.

Sue didn't know what she was doing here. This place wasn't really the safest to be in. She had apparated to the first place that had came to her mind. She had narrowly escaped a group of Ministry Aurors in an unknown place today. Sue wasn't really good at apparating. So she ended up reaching weird places where she had never been. When she was in Hogwarts, Sue had always ignored this Bar as best as she could. It was usually crowded, and she never followed the crowd. But today it was less populated than usual, and the Ministry watched places like Hog's Head more than Firebird. Having no other choice, she entered the Pub with a look of disgust in her face. She had changed herself as a blond, tanned girl after she had arrived at Hogwarts. She was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt with the hood down, and black jeans. She looked around the place with a look of utter disapproval, there were not many seats left to be filled. She spotted a safe seat beside a hooded girl at the back. Sue couldn't see the girl, but as long as she would mind her own business, nothing would go wrong. Walking up to the seat she glanced at the girl, and asked as politely as she could, "Can I sit here?" After a few seconds, when she didn't get any reply she rolled her eyes and settled herself promptly. Ordering herself a Firewhiskey, she looked at the girl again. She had seemed quite familiar. "You're from Hogwarts." she asked said automatically unable to control her curiosity.

It seemed that no matter what she did, answer or just ignore, the girl who was standing up in front of her was not going to go away. Lazily guestering towards the bench across from where she was currently sitting, what harm could a girl sitting with her do? She just wasn't in the mood so hopefully, even if she recognized the voice, they would get bored of her not being too talkative and leave because of that. Continuing on with her fiddling, she was rather intriged with it to be honest. The way the liqiud moves was just so natural. She wanted everything else to work the same way: like her mind, for example. She wanted to be able to clear it without trouble. "I could be." she responded with another statement. If she was going to be given demanding statements that were formed in the way that should be a question, she would do the same back. The answer was obviously yes, it just had been more abrupt to the point of not giving a direct answer.

The girl seemed a bit abnormal to Sue. Perhaps she was deaf, or too arrogant. Sue had been the same way when she was at Hogwarts. Maybe worse than this strange girl. It had been a really tiring day for Sue. And now, she didn't even have a place to spend the night. In no way could she rent an apartment in Hogsmeade. This place made her miss her family a lot. Though she hadn't really had happy days with them, but still she was not really in any kind of misery as such. Seeing the girl fiddle with her Butterbeer, Sue raised her eyebrow. She seemed a bit slow to be honest. But Sue had learned many things in these past few days, and one of them was patience. She sighed and looked at her untouched drink. Just then the girl answered and Sue looked up. She didn't know why, but the voice was very familiarly annoying. She stared at her face (whatever wasn't covered with the hood) but couldn't recognise her. "Right. I go there too. What's your name anyways?" Sue lied forcing a smile.

It was just now that the light bulb clicked in her head. The person sitting across from her was lying. She recognized the voice that came with the lie, and how it changed ever so slightly each time. This wasn't a girl she was a fan of, but someone she had actually hated ever since she first stepped foot into the school she was still attending. It was clear that she was the only one who made this connection. Sue was not aware that it was her, Ginevra, sitting across the table. If she was there would most likely no longer be two people at the table. "Isn't it proper for you to first give me your own name before me to return the favor?" Testing Sue, she seemed calm, way too calm for that matter, so having her own little fun could get her mind off of what she tended to make herself get distracted from often: reality in her shoes.
