A Funny Little Twist- A post DH Harry potterRpg!

Everyone in the Wizarding World knows the story of how Harry Potter, the Chosen One, repeatedly faced, fought and triumphed over Lord Voldemort. The Second Wizarding War was a violent and bloody affair and many were fated to die, though good finally triumphed over evil after that last great battle, on the grounds of Hogwarts itself. Lives were rebuilt after it all, organizations restructured and peace finally seemed to have won out at long last.

It has been twenty-one years since that fateful conflict, and many of those that took part in the War have families of their own. Weasley and Potter are the two most famous names, though Longbottom and Malfoy, among others, have made themselves into household names even in this time where the events of the Battle of Hogwarts are ancient history. There is little crime to speak of and even those with old predjudices treat each other civilly - but as history would plainly tell us, it is not to last.

As it always is, there are whispers starting to spread among both wizards and Muggles. Strange things are starting to happen on a daily basis, inhuman creatures are being spotted again in the dead of night, and it is not safe to go out of doors alone. Rumors spread that a new group of Death Eaters are on the rise, and that they are actively recruiting. What cause they are acting for or who commands them is still not solidly known - but when six Muggles, six mixed-heritage and six Muggle-born wizards and witches turn up brutally murdered on the Ministry of Magic's doorstep on the morning of September the 1st, 2019, it becomes deadly clear that there are dark times looming over both worlds again.

With the rumor and threat of another war looming and the threat behind it still only spoken of in the most hushed whispers behind locked doors, what side will you choose? Will you choose the Order of the Phoenix and defend all you hold dear, or will you fold under the threats of the Death Eaters and choose to follow them and their mysterious leader? Whichever side you eventually choose, one thing is certain - we are all living in a time of a Funny Little Twist of fate.
