"That's good," Jemma replied to Gabrielle. She was glad that she was happy, though she did wonder about her problems. She didn't want to enquire, but she worried about her friend sometimes. She was high up in the Ministry, and although she had nothing against the Minstry, well not most of the time anyway, some people did. She was often scared that people would target Gabrielle for her position. Still, she never said a word to her about it.
"Yeah, summer rain is lovely," Jemma agreed absent-mindedly. She was curious to know what Gabrielle wanted to forget so much. Maybe she was just referring to her problems again. Jemma just assumed that was it. "Heavy rains aren't too bad if you've got a raincoat on, I still like them!" she told Gabrielle, trying to put some enthusiasm into their conversation, trying not to keep getting distracted so much.
"Yeah, sure, we can go out somewhere afterwards," Jemma told Gabrielle. She didn't mind what they did, she was pretty flexible, really. She liked most things. "You pick something though, as I would have no idea where to go!" she added, laughing. It was true, Jemma was one of the most indecisive people ever.
Jemma looked at her watch. It was already half past seven! Time goes by when you're having fun, she thought to herself. "Hey Gabrielle, it's half past now," she informed her friend. "We better go in now. It would be silly to be here so early and then go in late!" she joked to her. She got up from the bench and stretched. She was getting older, there was no escaping the fact. She held open the door to the restaurant for Gabrielle. "You first,"
