Quill never truly adopted the Hogwarts uniform. Instead, he wears his Ilvermorny robes charmed to match the colours of Hogwarts and his house. It's impossible to pin him down to one outfit outside of the school robes. There's no definitive sense of style with Quill because he wears all sorts of random things. Some things downright strange.

Biography

Quill was born to Stephanie Lyptus & Quill Magnolia II in Modesto, California on November 14th, 2006. His mother and father are alumni of Ilvermorny, both Thunderbird graduates and working as freelance wandmakers for private clients as well as studying magical aspects of nature. This includes but is not limited to creatures, plants, and weather. As a child Quill spent much of his life on the road with his parents who frequently traveled for work. They adopted some muggle traditions such as road trips and even bought a recreational vehicle with muggle money that they could live out of. From an early age he showed signs of magic and was expected to attend Ilvermorny when he came of age.

Both of his parents raised him to grow with a sense of adventure and to always keep asking "why?'. Some would probably call them hippies but so far their parenting has done something right. Quill has been instilled with a sense to do good and stand up for those who can't. He's not afraid of a confrontation and is as curious as a cat on it's last life. You can usually spot him skulking around trying to get into places he shouldn't. He's quite good at distractions.

At Ilvermorny he was chosen by Thunderbird like both of his parents and was presented with his wand. At school he excelled in the practical subjects such as transfiguration and defense against the dark arts. But he had and still has trouble with the book learning aspects of school and does not do as well in xylomancy or ancient runes. While there he also befriended people of many houses and found a girlfriend in his fifth year, Lark Primrose a Thunderbird sixteen year old Thunderbird student.

Halfway into his fifth year and in the throws of his new love his parents decided to move to the United Kingdom. Claiming the move "was for better business" and "to explore other origins of magic" his parents pulled him out of school. He later learned he would be attending Hogwarts and only after several months and bribes later did he agree. He was given a private sorting ceremony and would be starting his fifth year over again brand new.

As if being sixteen was hard enough with puberty and angst. He now has to deal with being in an entirely new environment surrounded by strangers. Not only that, but his parents bought a house and moved in - no more RV like in the summers. Jumping through all the hoops has caused him a great deal of stress.
