[OPEN] "You're not as clever as you think."

He tilted his head at her explanation, but just ended up shrugging. "Doesn't mean you're not interested. I'm just saying. But that's not exactly my business," he added hastily, holding his hands up. One went back to the strap of his bag, but he found that he had little to say about Ace. Or about the rest of it.

"..Do you take as much enjoyment as I think you do in pissing people off?" Christian asked seriously. Giving that a minute to sink in, he just sighed a little.

"Naomi's different since she came back. And we both know Apollo's been messed up for a while. Not a great pair. Now, I doubt that the staff would have any real concern. But if you're so worried about what Professor Potter would think, why don't you go tell her? It's not like she'll care."

"You're not that hot," Clytemnestra said.

"And to take pleasure in pissing people off, I'd have to care about their opinions, which I don't.  I thought you were clever enough to have figured that one out by now."

At Christian's transparent claim about Lily, Clytemnestra just snorted.  He just really didn't get it.

"You know that's not what I'm talking about, but sure, I'll go warn her.  She's probably still down in the dungeons anyway."

She scooped her bag up from the floor and pushed past Christian to head down that way.
