I met her at church but she could be Satan

on Thu Feb 23, 2017 3:14 pm
Adrian enteted The Three Broomsticks and was welcomed with smell of..pumpkins? He wasn't sure but the smell almost made him want to quit his plan and bolt out. He had always hated pumpkins, yet he'll endure the smell if that meant he'll finally stop sulking and proceed to step one of his plan. His eyes scanned the room, skiping over tons of unimportant people until he wound the one he was looking for. She was sitting all alone, his lips curled into smirk, he couldn't choose the better moment to make the first step even if he was able to.

The blonde walked over to the bar and ordered an apple juice, pulling a couple of galeons out of his pocket and putting them on the bar. With the glass in his hand he swiftly moved between the tables, his eyes not leaving his target. Not even when he almost knocked down the eldery woman which earned him an elbow in his ribs and couple of coursewords he let pass without answering.

"I've never thought I'll find you here," because I was pretty sure you weren't old enough to order a drink, he finished in his head, flashing 1 million dollar smile to Beatris Greyback as he sat into the booth across from her, and glanced up, a mischievous glow flickering in his eyes.

The Ravenclaw spend the whole morning getting ready for this occasion. Showering, shaving his beard, picking out what he will wear, he even spent half an hour stylizing his so it would fall nicely around his head. All that made Adrian feel like a bride getting ready for her wedding day and earned him plenty of amused looks from Rosalie, especially when he accidentaly let it slip what is he getting ready for. At least he didn't tell her it was a ploy aimed at hurting another person, it would erase the smug look from her face which would most likely be replaced with constant frowning. However, that one thing Rosie ddidn't need to know.

"How have you been?" He politely asked, trying to look genuinly interested in her response. It was a safe question and he hoped he'd be able to start a conversation that way. One that didn't end up with them screaming at each other. Yet, that time he wanted nothing from Beatris, this time he was in different situation. It took him too much time to realize that but she was the perfect person he could use to show Aneta just how it felt to be replaced, but to do that he had to woo her, and that was a real venture considering she make it quite clear to show him that she spent half of her time hating his guts, but it never stopped her from messing around with him and that made him thing this plan might work out.

It had to work out, because Adrian Blanchard couldn't come up with the backup plan.

Re: I met her at church but she could be Satan

Beatris Sophie Greyback probably had more free days than anyone else in the Ministry of Magic in London. And maybe even in the whole world.
The thig is, she was spoiled and to be honest, she didn't know what is the authority so she disrespected everyone.
That was why Aneta gave her another free day with the words that 'she wasn't in the mood to tolerate such the childish behavior today".
Beatris found out that was the really easy task to piss off her boss. Aneta hates drama, and drama was exactly what Beatris gave to her every single day. Aneta would probably kill her if she wasn't too scared how her daddy, Fenrir Greyback would react.

Aneta thought that Fenrir actually love Beatris, and Tris decided that it was in her best interest to say that was true, even if Fenrir usually wants to kill her by himself.

Right from the Ministry, Beatris apparated herself to the Hogsmeade.
She was wondering trough streets for hours before she finally decided to go to The Three Broomstick.
It was full of people even if she thought it would be empty, this was the time when anyone was on the job or in some pathetic hotels with their secret lovers while their family was waiting for them back to home.

She was calm for less than half of the hour, though because she saw her worst enemy, blondie called Adrian while he tried to make his path to her table.
She was thinking about the idea to put her legs on an only free chair next to her but she was a lady, after all, her manners didn't allow her to do that.
She started laughing as insane. Right, manners. It was only when she decided to pretend that she actually knows something about the manners.

It was hard to say why she disliked Adrian more than anything.
The thing was, she hates everyone but something about him made her want to throw up everything from her organism, he was disgusting and really pathetic with that 'bad boy' mask.
And when he finally came and sat on the chair - HOW DARE HE? She looked at him with obviously hate in her eyes.

"Pardon, I thought it was clear this chair isn't free, especially for pathetic blondies. She gave him her best smile before she frowned, it seemed like he doesn't think it was the good time to leave.

'How have you been?'

Did he really ask her that? She started laughing again and then she shook her head before calling the waitress to gave her another drink.
"Really? Are you insane? Is this another joke? What the hell are you doing here? I'm not in the mood to kill you today Blondie" she looked at him with look full of insanity,   while her brain started to think about ideas and every new was worse than previous.

"Though, it was pretty much time since I had the chance to enjoy in something good like the Crucio. Are you asking to be the volunteer Blondie?" she asked curiously. She really had no idea what the hell was he doing here.

Re: I met her at church but she could be Satan

Okay, it seems that she wasn't as happy to see him as he predicted. Maybe he should have waited for a couple of weeks more, but it was too late to back up now. It was all or nothing, and it had to be nothing because Adrian felt the bitter taste of failure for so many times already and didn't want to taste it ever again. He leant back on his seat, feigned that he's relaxed although his every muscle under his clothes was as tense as strings on guitar Flavia used to play until she gotten bored of it. Another smile, this time it was an honest one, lit his face and made him appear years younger than his twenty-six years.

"I'm sorry I interrupted you, then," Adrian made no move to stand up and leave her alone, "it was just… ever since I noticed you, sitting alone here, I had to speak with you. I want to bring back smile on your face." He was eight years old the last time he tried to pull out as transparent lie as this one was. It was when he broke mother's favourite vase and tried to frame the family owl for that. How unfortunate it was to find out that the very same owl was sent out with a letter the night before the vase broke.

Tantrums of Beatris Greyback always made him amused. Surprisingly she reminded him of himself when he was twelve years old, however, he's gotten over this behaviour until he was fifteen, and it seemed that Beatris still had troubles with not acting like a brat every time she opens her mouth. If he were here to start (another) fight with her, he'd told her just that, maybe even add something about her being the best version of herself while she was sleeping. He guessed that would erase the smug look on her face for at least couple of minutes.

However, Adrian wasn't here with intent to piss her off, this time he had to woo her.

Pissing her off would have been easier.

"I think it wouldn't be a smart decision to end my life." His voice was hushed but clear enough for everyone who was near to understand. "You'd have to spend awfully lot of years in Azkaban, even if we ignore the fact that your boss wouldn't be too pleased if you did that and would have probably fired you." Or worse. Adrian knew Aneta saw him as her property since the they he met her, and although he wasn't her favourite person at the moment he still believed she was generally fond of him and would do something if he was killed. Not because she felt the need to avenge him, probably only to show the others that they shouldn't mess with her toyswithout her permission. Adrian's lips U clenched in a thin line, it was like she owned him. In some ways she did.

"I have no secret motives, Beatris, I just wanted to spend some time with you." He crossed his fingers so he'd stop his fingers from tapping on the table, a nervous habit he never quite managed to get rid of it. "I thought you'd be happy to see me as I was happy to see you." Okay, maybe he went a little to far with the last one, Adrian bit his lip and put a strand of hair behind his ear, he probably went more than a bit too far to make it believable. If he could only summon a blush in his cheeks which might make her think he was embrassed for spilling that, if only that was posibble.

His breath hitched as he heard her remark about cursing him with Crucio. "Wow, Beatris, every time I see you you seem to be more and more interested into kinky stuff," he grinned. "I like it."

Beatris ordered another dring and then looked at Adrian.
"Oh, and one Mojito with colorful umbrella for my Blonde girlfriend" she gave Adrian venomous look and then she smiled innocently.
This was the first time that Adrian actually approach her and let her to humiliate him. He needs something from her. That is always the thing.
But she was too lazy to try to find out what he needed. He would say it by himself in the end, it was always like that.
So she decided to just sit there and drink strong liquid from her glass until he finally decide to say her what the hell is he doing here.

Beatris started laughing and looked at him.
"Okay Blondie, stop insulting my brain, I know better than that. But even if you are not honestly sorry, apologize accepted. Now move, leave me alone" she pursed her lips and looked at him angrily.
This was supposed to be the day when she would finally be calm, and maybe even go to say 'Hi' to her daddy. And instead, she was here ad this pathetic boy didn't want to leave her alone.
Usually, she was the one who was annoying him to death. She couldn't but ask herself when that change? This was like some freaking alternative universe.

She looked at him with the amused look.
"You really think that saying it out loud so everyone here can hear you would stop me from killing you?" she asked curiously because, to be honest, she thought that he know her better. Well, another disappointment from him.
"You know Azkaban isn't something that would scare me off. You forgot who is my father. And more than anything, you forgot who raised me since I was the just little innocent girl without home and family" she looked at him seriously. He didn't know and that was bad.
He didn't know that Lorcan D'Eath was like her father. And he definitely didn't know that Jacob Black could be her pet if she only asks Fenrir. She wasn't the one who will just end up in Azkaban, and Aneta was even worse than her, it's not like she would fire Beatris only because she killed someone. It's not like it would be the first time, killing people was like the sport for Beatris.

"Okay, I get it. You are sick" she looked at him for the first time actually worried because of his condition. Don't get her wrong, she wasn't worried because of him.
She was just worried that this new Adrian may actually like her and bother her all the time.
"What the hell happened to you? Did someone change your mind? Or you have death disease so you decided to spend your last days bothering me?" She finished her drink and in that moment their drinks were there and she paid for both of them.
"If he was really dying, she would at least buy him the drink. It's not like they didn't spend some quality time together in the past, fighting with him was one of her favourite activities in the free time.

"Love, hurting people is my fetish, don't forget that ever" she gave him one of her best smile, the same one she usually used just in the moment before she kills someone. That was the smile fulfilled with happiness, the smile that child keeps for its mother or best friends. The same one child would give the person who bought him a chocolate.
"Okay, it's obviously you won't leave me alone before you finish whatever you have and need me for that. So start now, you have" she looked at her watch before continuing "five minutes, from now" she looked at him in expectation.
