OK. So, let's chat Hermione for a mo. Should I presume that Hermione knows what Molly is up to or not? Because if not, she probably just thinks Molly is withdrawn and maybe "potentially problematic" in the sense that she might do unusual things.

But if so, then there's a high chance that Hermione would be concerned, yes, but also wary at the same time. Like, she's watched people fall apart before and wouldn't want that for Molly, but she also wouldn't quite know how to breach the subject.

I mean, Molly doesn't know what she's even up to xD She's just sort of treading water. Hermione probably knows she smokes and maybe suspects she drinks, but beyond that probably just worries that there's something to worry about.

I think we figured that Lucy and Molly have a sort of quiet sibling rivalry? I know I had it in my bio that Lucy's a bit jealous, and maybe she knows about Molly's "extra-curriculars" but they have a kind of united silence against the adults thing going on.


When I created him I was working on the premise of him being so worried about Lucy's illness that he sometimes overlooks Molly's difficulties. I'd really love if that came out in his plot because you know how much I love beating up my characters.

I imagine if Hermione figured something out, she'd speak to him about it? I feel like Hermione and Percy should have more in common since they're both such nerds.

I had a thought that Molly might want to use Clair to give Roxi a taste of her own medicine, if that's the route you're going with that.

You can take this up or no, but from Selwyn's other threads, he tends to be pretty perceptive and unlike Keiran he interferes. So he'd probably notice if there's something up with a student. Otherwise, feel free to ignore him.

@Lucy - the HC I've always kind of had for them is that they don't necessarily get along and probably have personality differences, but when push comes to shove, they'd cover each other, just for the sake of ensuring their own secrets don't get aired out. So there's loyalty and familiar love, but probably not lots of sister bonding.

@Percy - that works really well. I've mentioned before in posts that I think Molly's standoff nature really unnerved Audrey for a time, but I've kinda imagined that she's been mostly left to her own devices since she's never really had discipline problems at school or trouble with her grades. I'm always up for more family stuff.

@Clair - That's interesting. I haven't really gotten to the point with Molly where she's actively ready to do anything against Roxi, who is also MIA again, but depending on where she goes, that might be a viable option. I kind of love Clair so I'm up for any plots with him.

@Sel - Molly's year in general has been a bit different from her others. She's actually seeming to put effort into her schoolwork and took on a pretty heavy load. The partying and whatnot still happens, but he'd probably notice after the V-day party that she has suddenly stopped sitting with Margo every class and might sense that she's going through something. She probably won't offer much if he interferes, though. She's not really sure what she's going through and she's a locked vault as it is. But that'd still be a great way to push her.

I would definitely argue that she's warmed to him over the years. As a student he was an authority figure but now they're on the same playing field. Particularly when she and Ron nearly fell out, I feel like Percy might've been involved there? Up to you. But yeah, she would.
