I texted my boss for a week and a half with no response. Yesterday, on my day off, she texted me asking to call when I was free. After I left two voicemails for her today, when I finally get ahold of her on call # 3 she has the nerve to say "yeah I called you and didn't hear back."

I got her later though, when she found out I called someone in because I got so behind doing all of the manager duties that aren't mine.

"Well next time you need to call someone in, call me first."

"Well, I typically do, but I needed someone tonight, not next week."

In updates from Australia, we are currently waiting for our government to decide exactly how they will block same sex marriage this time. Will it be via plebiscite, or via postal plebiscite?

Here's how it goes down for those playing at home:

If we vote no to marriage equality, that is considered binding and no bill will be brought to parliament.

If we vote yes, that is considered non-binding and a vote might be brought to parliament, but probably not because we know what these politicians are like.
