Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

A not so normal night Empty A not so normal night

Post by Lilyanya Faulkner Wed Jan 28, 2015 5:34 pm

Anya walked around the hospital wing trying to tidy up the already tidy wing. It was dark outside and she was wearing a black dress with a white apron tied about her waist. She had stocked the linen closet as well as cleaned the floors. The medical supplies closet didn't need restocked but she did see several things that needed restocked in the potions part. She made notes down laying it on the head healer's desk to make sure that it was ordered before they needed it.

Having everything done she felt lonely and bored, going to the window of the Hospital Wing looking out over the night cloaked grounds. She was wondering what she would do when school was over and she went back to her home for a while. She enjoyed the holidays but she felt better knowing that she would be returning to Hogwarts. Her dog had been excited to see her and she was happy to see him getting weight put on his too lean frame. Her thoughts were broken when she heard someone walking towards the closed doors of the wing.

Turning from her position from the window she waited until the person came walking through the doors.

Hospital wing at Hogwarts was the last place where Sebastien wanted to be. Only because that meant he needed help and seeking for help was his least favourite activity. However he needed someone's help now. This ex-Slytherin was capable of healing smaller wounds, but this wasn't something he could fix, the wound was too big, there was too much blood and he couldn't stop the bleeding. Holding a gauze that already become slightly pink although he put it not even five minutes earlier, over his ribs, he knocked at the door praying that Lilyanya is on duty tonight, he knew that it would be needed a lot of touching fir treatment of a deep cut on his ribs, and although he hated being touched, Lilyanya is his friend so he could bear her touch, he doubted he would let some stranger touch him, not tonight.

He wasn't sure how he got injured but he assumed it happened during the full moon cause he couldn't remember having a wound earlier that day, and this was a type of a would even he couldn't ignore. That didn't stopped him from trying.
Sebastien opened the door and stuck his head in the room.
"Lilyanya?"
He waited, holding his breath and hoping she'll reply. Otherwise, he might go back and find a way to handle this on his own.

Lilyanya was walking towards the door when she saw it open and heard Sebastien's voice. Running to the door and opening it more as she grabbed his shoulders. "Sebastien! What happened? Come on let's get you in one of the beds." She said as she moved him to the bed then used her wand to take one of the screens. She placed it around the bed and ran to grab gauze and antiseptic. "Alright Sebastien I'm gonna have to cut your t-shirt off so I can get to the wound." She moved his hand away from the wound as she cut the cloth from it.

Anya lit another light around the bed so she could see everything better. She grabbed some gauze from her table then grabbed a bowl that was already sitting there. She filled it with water then wiped away the extra from his side. "This is really deep Sebastien, do you know how it happened?" She asked him then spoke again. "This will hurt a little bit so brace yourself." She took the gauze dipped in the water then wiped the blood quickly away to look at the wound better. Her fingers were light on the skin around the wound making sure that she did very little to harm him. "Alright I'm gonna pour a little antiseptic on the wound to clean it. It will sting a lot especially if there's a lot of dirt or anything else in it." Anya said her face was lined with worry as she grabbed a fresh stack of gauze holding it below the wound. She grabbed up the bottle and quickly poured some on the wound. It bubbled only a little bit which meant there wasn't much dirt in it. Patting the wound free of anything and then placing the gauze on the side table she began healing his wound. She knew it would take considerable time considering how deep it was. "How long did you wait before coming to me for this?" She asked softly as she continued to work on his wound.

"I kinda... fell." In truth he had no idea what happened to him but he believed she'll be less worried if he acts like he knows what happened. He bypassed the doors and followed her, rejecting her help. It wasn't anything personal, even since he wasn't in his best shape he could still walk normally, so he decided he doesn't need any help. At least not help in walking. He winced as he layed down on bed. Sebastien took his wand and swung pulling the curtains to give him some privacy. "Be my guest." He moved his hands away to give her better access. Ruined shirt would be one of his smaller problems.

Sebastien nodded, silently agreeing with her. The wound really was pretty deep. He knew it well cause he tried to treat it by himself rather than seeking for medical help. Yet, since that wasn't successful he eventually admitted that it would be necessary to visit hospital's wing. However that didn't mean he liked to admit he failed, he would probably avoided the wing even more if the wound haven't hurt that much. "Not really, I can remember only flashes of what happened. But it's quite blurry." He hissed when gauze touched his skin. Hurts. Hurts. Hurts. Hurts. Sebastien promised himself that he will never wait this long before seeing healer. It was a promise he'll probably brake the next time he gets hurt but it gave him some peace while she cleaned his wound. "A while." He sheepishly smiled hoping she won't ask for more details, cause he believed he'll be in a trouble if she does.

Anya looked at the wound then at him with doubts. "This doesn't look like you fell Sebastien, it looks like something stabbed you in the side. Well it depends on how high you fell from and where I guess." She said as she grabbed some dry gauze to put on the wound. "Put pressure on it, I have to grab something else from the cabinet." She took his hand and placed it on the wound as she walked out to the cabinet. She grabbed a thicker gauze and a jar of milky substance. Going back to his bedside she sat back down, "With magic being out of sorts I don't want to risk using magic. It will have to heal naturally with you but you have to keep it clean and change the bandaged often."

She looked at him when he said that he had waited a while before coming to her. "Your lucky that your injured and I'm not smacking you for postponing coming here. I know that you don't like asking for help but next time please come to me. This is really bad and your really lucky that it never got infected." She said wanting to smack him for waiting so long and not realizing that he wouldn't be able to take care of it himself. Shaking her head as she began using what she could to heal up the inner most part of his wound. Then she cleaned up the skin around the wound making sure everything was clean and sterile. She then grabbed the cream uncapping it, "Try to think of something else when I put this on. It's a healing cream that I made for wounds like this. It stings only a little but it will began to help heal the wound." She said before putting in on his wound softly. After it was covering the wound she wiped her hands free of the cream. She grabbed the thick gauze and placed it on the wound then used white tape to seal it. "You'll have to check the gauze daily and you have to avoid moving around so much." She said as she cleared up what mess there was. "You'll have to stay here overnight so I can make sure that your blood gets replenished into your system. You lost a lot of blood, so I don't want to hear any complaints about not staying. If you move from this spot I will smack you injured or not." She gave him a stern look before getting up with the things and leaving him alone on the bed.

Anya grabbed a bottle of water that was laced with minerals and vitamins. She then grabbed a white linen shirt for him to wear before going back to his bed. "Here this water will help you get your blood count back up and here's a shirt since your other one is dirty." She said with a smile as she walked back out after putting them on the bedside table.
