Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

It were the pity looks that made Milena change her mind and go to Hogsmeade despite she mentioned at least a dozens of times she won't go earlier. You can call this running away but there was a limit of pity that could stand and the Hufflepuffs passed that limit today, asking her to go with them. Maybe she would accept if she thought that they're inviting her cause they want her company, not only because she doesn't have anyone to go with, anymore. That's why she left their common room and went to bedroom just to take her coat.

Weather was chilly outside, just the way she liked that, so she was outside of the castle not even five minutes after she left the common room of the yellow ones. Stroding till the gates and all the way to Hogsmeade she maneuvered between small groups of the students quietly counting her steps all the way to The Hog's Head, she decided she won't go to the Three Broomsticks just because every other student will go there, and since she left the castle just to avoid them, she did not want to meet them here.

She came in and ordered Butterbeer, thinking that they probably have it, and she probably won't die after drinking it. With a bottle in her hand and few galleons outside of her pocket she turned around and scanned the room searching for a table. There was at least one person sitting for every table so she searched for the one who looked the most normal between them, instead. Her eyes landed to some guy, not much older than her, who didn't look pretty dangerous. Since she didn't wear any Hogwarts' clothing she walked in his direction and took a seat across from him.
"Hello."

Mason was spending time time in The Hog's Head. He was eating here and drinking. He didn't wanna go for it. Parents still were mad at him that he haven't yet figured out who he wants to be exactly. There was just so many options so he barely stayed at day home but for night he always went home. Or if he stayed out he never went any girls home, he was just loyal to his girlfriend Tristan. He didn't wanna lose him for sure.

Boy looked up when someone did speak with him. It was some younger girl who he didn't know for sure. He could tell she was like 3-4 years younger than him. "Hello," he said back there now. He saw that most of seats were taken already. He didn't mind company actually at all.

Milena took a sip of her drink and carefully put it down on the table, usually, she was the clumsy one, but she didn't want to finish with a whole glass of Butterbeer poured into her lap, she doubted that would be one pleasant experience, even since she could get rid of all the drink with one move of her wand, she would still feel ashamed. After she took care that glass can't fall down she raised her look up to meet boy's.

"What's up?" She asked casually, like they know each other for years, not like she sat for his table a few minutes ago. Milena crossed her legs under the table and glanced away, studying the other people why she waited for his reply. "You might wonder who am I, you can call me Iskra." She added, unsure why she used her middle name instead her first one. She never did that before, always using Milena but Iskra, probably because of its meaning, who wants to be known as Spark, after all? Not that he'll know, thought.

Mason looked at that girl and studied her. He wasn't his type at all probably for sure and also he had already a girlfriend who heoved very much. The girl seemed nice at least ao far.

"Well, not much. Just decided to havea drink for awhile outside," he said there something. Wasn't sure what to else to say back. "You?" He asked back. Trying to be polite. Lately he acted to so like he should. "Mason is my name," he then told to her even. He wasn't sure what that girl was and didn't really care much. "Nice to meet you, Iskra," he even said without relazing. He sighed when he relized what he said just he just aighed and wondered why he is suddenly so nice today.

"Have you seen the weather outside?" She frowned on his words. It was true that it wasn't rainy like most of the days, but it wasn't much better either. There's no other word than ugly to describe it so she would never leave home if she doesn't need to if she was him. Of course, she left Hogwarts today but that was different cause students couldn't leave the castle whenever they want so she was kinda forced to go out today, if she wanted to fill her supplies of candies, that is, and there's nothing better than whit chocolate bought in Sugarplum's Sweets Shoppe.

"Pretty much the same. Without the tea part." She could never understand why British liked tea, every tea she tried tasted the same, not quite good, so she eventually stopped trying new types. "Nice to meet you too, Mason." She chuckled remembering she didn't leave him an option to refuse to let her to sit for his table. Yeah, that happens when you sit without asking if you could, Milena. But well, the weather was awful, and she's bored.

Mason knew what kind of weather it was outsidebut he didn't really mind it. He had nothing against a raining. He nodded her head. "Yes I do know," he said if even out just in the case. He wasn't yet sure what to do with most of his day at the moment. He should look for a job but he isn't really sure what will suit for him.

"Oh I see," he said and nodded his head again. Seemed like good idea to be here. He didn't drink that much of tea actually. Usually it was coffee but today he wanted tea. "So in what house you are in Hogwarts?" He asked some random question what came in his mind to keep chatting up. Also he did take zip from his tea.

"Why would you like to go outside if it was rainy outside, then?" She looked at him puzzled. In truth she seen many of her classmates do the same, she guessed because it was they're all used to the rainy weather. She'd thought she'd get used to it too, by now, but that wasn't the chance. She missed the Sun. Even since days when it was warm in Minsk were pretty non existent, she could sometimes see that giant yellow ball when she look at the sky. Everything she could see here were clouds, and more clouds.

"Hufflepuff." She replied after taking a sip of her butterbeer. Her answer was truthful this time, but she felt like she just lied to him, although she had cape with yellow details under her coat, she felt like she doesn't belong in Hufflepuff, well not anymore, at least. "Which house were you in?"

"Well I'm used to having that weather by now in this time of year. It's not something new around here for sure," he said there and sighed. He really didn't like rain that much but for him it was better than some sunny day where was too hot to be outside. So he preferred rain over that sunny day.

He nodded her head on it. He couldn't never see himself be in hufflepuff house for sure. It wouldn't be right for sure. "I was slytherin," he said there honestly. Being honest that wasn't really what he did sometimes nowadays in past he barely did it. Now it came like from nowhere. Probably trusting and opening up for people, not just our family members but people, friends who u can trust can changes person, specially your girlfriend. Now the person who he did miss a bit since she was still in school for awhile.

"Yes, but it still kinda sucks. You know." She repositioned on her chair and crossed her legs. Whoever runs this place didn't care for comfortable chairs, or was a sadist, but the beer was decent, it was warmer and more dry then outside, so it should work for a while. At least until the rain stops pouring since Milena decided she's not going back outside only to get in the castle fully soaked.

"Nice house. I heard you have one interesting common room." Dariela tried to sneak her in a couple of times, but everytime they were busted and regarded with one week punishment until they eventually stopped trying. For a moment she thought she'd better fit in Slytherin than in Hufflepuff. Lately many of them became only a bunch of strangers for her, she forced those she knew from earlier to stop talking to her, her attitude repulsed newcomers to try to talk with her, and she was happy to let it all to blur. Yet, there's no way she'd switch houses, even if something like that was possible, which wasn't, Hufflepuff's dorm room was closer to the kitchen, so it was easier to sneak in for a snack.
