Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

When The Lights Go Down Empty When The Lights Go Down

Technically, Nessarose wasn't allowed on the grounds of Hogwarts, or even in the castle. Yet, there she was, sneaking about like a proper rogue and doing her best to remember where exactly everything was located. It had been a while, obviously, since she had set foot in the school, but it felt rather like riding a broom - if you get used to it, you can go back to it with a bit of ease. The real difference had become her status as a werewolf. She was wanted by the Ministry, as all magical creatures were, yet she had chosen to fly in the face of authority and show up where she wasn't supposed to.

She had waited until after the dinner in the Great Hall finished up, quickly making her way into the building once things had grown quiet. She needed access to the library, to the room of requirement, and the student dorms if she could manage it. As far as she had heard, most of the students at Hogwarts were highly against werewolves. It was just lucky that no one knew about her having been turned. After all, it had happened over break, and she wasn't exactly close to anyone at the school before she left. If anyone even remembered her, she would be surprised.

That wasn't to say she expected to make it through the castle without being spotted. She could only hope that, if anyone did see her or recognize her, they wouldn't ask where she had been. Maybe she would be lucky and they would just remember that she was in Slytherin, and let her pass by.

Then again, Nessa had never been very lucky.

When The Lights Go Down Empty Re: When The Lights Go Down

Post by Milena Ivanova Sun Oct 26, 2014 12:32 pm

Lately, Milena was the first person who would break some law, usually just because she was bored at the moment. Ever since the train crushing she wasn't the same person she used to be. This Hufflepuff girl became reckless and cold to everyone who wanted to talk with her, she even stopped caring for others and became silent and moody, no one would assume she's Hufflepuff unless noticing their amblem on the front of her cape.

Today, she decided she doesn't want to go to common room with the rest of her housemates, most of them were enthusiastic and cheerful and that were the main things she hated now, so instead of that she decided she could use a walk through the castle. Milena left the Great Hall along with a group of younger Hufflepuff students but soon separated from them and chose the random hallway. She assumed they wouldn't ask questions when she leave them on their own, if they were a year or two years older they would probably ask questions, but the young ones believed the older students knew the rules better then them. Oh, if they knew…

When The Lights Go Down Empty Re: When The Lights Go Down

It was as Nessarose turned the corner into the more open area of the Entrance Hall that she heard footsteps that clearly weren't her own. Freezing, her shoulders squared as though she expected a fight. Though, didn't she? Nessa had been against everyone, it seemed, for ages. What was some Hogwarts student in all that? The only thing she feared, honestly, was that a professor would come around the corner and realize that she didn't actually attend Hogwarts anymore. Then again, Nessa couldn't even have said who was teaching that year, because she was so very separated from those who attended classes after having been away for so long.

So when a girl with shockingly pink hair came into view, Nessa's eyebrows raised fairly sarcastically. She didn't feel that it was her place to judge, considering she was a werewolf. She couldn't find a reason to judge someone when she was so very strange herself, now. So, instead, she decided that building an alibi certainly couldn't hurt. If the girl noticed her, she needed a reason for being out and about, and headed towards the library instead of the dungeons. Luckily, she wasn't wearing robes that marked her specifically for any house. After all, the rules didn't say you had to wear the robes after hours, did they? Muggle clothes would just have to suffice. Perhaps this pink-haired girl would think she was a Muggleborn.

So Nessarose marched right through the Entrance Hall and towards the girl in question, not even bothering to look anxious as she approached. "Evening," she offered as the space between them lessened. "Out for a bit of adventure, are we?"

When The Lights Go Down Empty Re: When The Lights Go Down

It was unusual to see someone else on the halls if the person doesn't go in the direction of common rooms so seeing another girl alone attracted Milena's attention. It was unwritten rule for every student to go straight to their beds after the dinner, although they had more than an hour until the sleep time when professors began patrolling on halls, but there is not a lot of things that students could do on halls in the evening.

Another unusual thing was clothes that girl wore. It was muggle, not it was banned thought, that was just a thing that made Milena stop walking and stare. As pure blooded witch Milena rarely wore muggle clothes, since she had only wizards and witches in her family she inherited their way of clothing, and it was full of pelerine and other clothes muggles didn't wear all the time. In fact the only time when Lena wore anything but capes was when she's traveling with muggle transport, she simply didn't feel comfortable wearing it.

Milena raised her eyebrows as the girl approached. She never met her before, so she couldn't see why would she want to speak with her. She doubted she gives the impression of friendliness, especially lately. Since the girl was closer than before that gave her a perfect opportunity to study the other girl. The girl had brown hair, maybe a shade or two darker than Milena's natural hair color and greenish eyes. She looked usual, well not as self- conscious Barbie Doll, so maybe if Milena was in better mood she might even act polite. Too bad she was pretty bad mood and quite offensive. "Evening." Her accent was rather noticeable even she tried to hide it but since it was coarser than the English one it would always find some way to come back, and she hated it. Not because the accent itself, but because people could assume where she's coming from only by hearing it. She tilted her head to one side thinking about the girl's next words. Adventure? Although she didn't plan it it could be called that way for sure, thought she didn't see any reason why would she need to justify to some stranger. "I could ask the same question."

(OOC: Sorry, I'm sure that grammar is awful, it's too late for me to write anything. xd)
