Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Troublemakers in the making Empty Troublemakers in the making

Ah... finally a day that wasn't raining outside, not that Brooke didn't like rainy days she just wanted a day nice day to relax by the lake. Skipping happily down the sloping lawns of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, she headed towards the lake. This was her only form of entertainment besides flying, she wasn't old enough to go to Hogsmeade yet. But that didn't mean she didn't sneak in a couple of times with her brothers to get some candy. She haven't gotten busted yet, so she kept on going in secrets.

After a few minutes Brooke reached the lake and smiled as the wind rustled through her dirty blond hair. " Ah... fresh air finally!"said Brooke to herself as she set underneath a tree. Grabbing a rock she skipped it a cross the lake be for counting how many skips she did. One skip...Two skips....Three skips.... flump! The rock sunk into the endless black lake. Taking another one, she skipped it across the lake as it skipped across the water.

Brooke was bored out of her mind, her brothers were busy and she really didn't have any friends. Her shyness always gotten in the way of her trying to make any friends around the school. She was trying to get out of her shyness, she wasn't as bad as she used to. She used to be so shy that she could barely talked to her Professors without doing it in a whisper. Although her brothers and her father were helping her get over it slowly but surely.

"EDGAR!"

The little mouse was incredibly distressed. Casey had told her new dormmate Katelyn over and over that her mouse was being terrorized by Katelyn's fat calico cat. Katelyn had assured her over and over that Jingles had never picked a fight with anyone's pets and she was smart enough and sweet enough to know that Casey's mouse Edgar was off limits. Nothing Casey could say would make a difference.

Now they knew better, didn't they.

Casey had finally managed to kick the cat out of her way as they ran down the steps of the castle, but now Edgar was dashing like mad down towards the lake. Casey paused, turning pale with fear as she imagined her precious pet plunging to his death in the Great Lake.

But no, he was headed for a tree with a girl under it. Casey yelled, "Catch my mouse! Please! Don't hurt him!"

Feeling something tickling her legs, Brooke seen a mouse running pass her. " Why hello there little fellow, why you running?"Brooke asked the mouse picking it up. Seeing a girl yelling at her Brooke jumped. " Oh um... sorry, here he is, "said Brooke handing her the mouse. " He's very cute by the way. " said Brooke honestly.

"Oh silly me I'm Brooke, Brooke Belby second year Ravenclaw
"said Brooke. Brooke already knew she was a Weasley, she seen her around school a couple of times. Plus Weasley was a popular name just like Potter and all those other names were. Her name was pretty known as well, mainly because her father was a well known man. She never knew what her father did, but he was well known for it.

The man from the street, this Alex Fawn, took a seat next to her at the bar and ordered. Carl gave Elsie a look of worry and mild concern, not certain as to what had possessed her to suddenly take this wild man for company. Elsie counted herself lucky to have people like Carl who were worried about her, and so quickly too. She had not been in the country very long, and already she had acquaintances who seemed set on watching out for her. It was a nice feeling. New York was a lot more 'fend for yourself.'

She gave Carl a reassuring smile and a nod, and the bartender hurried down the bar to go tell the kitchen their order and begin preparing their drinks. Elsie stared forward for a moment, lost in the thoughts of her abandoned city. She missed New York, but not nearly as much as her best friend. That whole Fend-For-Yourself scene just exhausted her.

She looked at him as he spoke and she let out a smile. "No, not usually. That's my friend, Claire. She's the thoughtful one. I'm just trying to fix my karma. It's not so hot right now." Her American accent was undeniable through her comfortable slang.
