GENERAL APPEARANCE: Tall and thin, Aurora lacks any noticeable curves to her body, thin hips and a below-average chest size, she makes up for her lack of body structure with her clothing style.
Aurora is often wearing clothes of strange making, one day wearing a huge coat that covers her entire body in a scraggly mess of fabric, the next day wearing a slim-fitting leather top and tight jeans.
A defining feature about Aurora is her hairstyle. Kept long and parted to the side the bottom and undersides have been dyed a light pink, which varies from dark magenta to a very light shade almost hard to see. Aurora is also almost always wearing heavy makeup, thick eyeliners and brightly colored eyeshadow with penciled in eyebrows to give them a more defining shape, even on lazy days she's never without makeup.

PERSONALITY:
Aurora is what some people might call a 'punk' girl, when assigning labels. She enjoys fishnet stockings, bright makeup, and colored hair. But the bright colors and strange clothing all hide a much more vulnerable underside. Aurora is terrified of many things, and often lashes out to try and be bigger then whatever it is that's scaring her.
Aurora is often troubled by her past, has panic attacks when things get stressful and tends to have vivid flashbacks during said panic attacks. Though she does her best to do this away from everyone, she still occasionally does break down in public, and often disappears for days at a time after a public display of her fear, turning up a couple days later up in the owlry, or down in the dungeons over a cauldron mixing different potions.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years: A lot happened to Aurora before she turned eleven, her family was very torn from the moment she was born. Her mother was not married when she was born, but married shortly after, her parents relationship only lasted until she was about seven, and they got a divorce and left Aurora with her mother and younger sister.
Aurora had only a few close friends when she attended muggle school, she made sure to only let them come to her house after her mother had been good for a while, and the house was clean and fresh. Though more often then not she would spend weekends at her friends house, to get away from the troubles at home. Her friends were a bit more on the wild side, with dyed hair and pieced ears and noses, they pulled Aurora away from being a protective older sister, to being more wild.
Aurora's mother was a drunk, which left Aurora to take care of herself and her sister quite often. From planning small trips to the park, to making sure she got breakfast in the morning. Though occasionally her aunt and uncle would visit and make sure things were going okay at the house, after such visits her mother would work very hard for quite some time, cleaning and cooking and looking for a job. It was during this time that Aurora was allowed to be a child and play with her younger sister.
The area in which Aurora grew up was a rather bad neighborhood, she lived in a very small house next to very busy traffic and few other children nearby, the school she attended to was not easy to get to by anything other than city bus, and the people who rode the city bus were not always the safest to be around.
Hogwarts Years: Aurora grew up angry and scared for the majority of her first Hogwarts years, she resented being told what to do almost immediately and took to hiding in random parts of the castle to escape going to class. When she turned thirteen Aurora started to dye her own hair, first in the summer between her second and third year, and then keeping it up throughout the year, sometimes varying the shades from pink to a more purple color.
Aurora stayed alone more often then not during her school years, she had a couple of friends, but no one she would say was close to her, and that suited her just fine, as she would often fall into depressive moods, not saying or talking much for a week or two at a time, before breaking out of it and playing pranks and being hyperactive again for a few weeks. It was during her third year, shortly after she had her hair dyed that she had her first outburst in the Entrance Hall.
After that Aurora avoided the Entrance Hall for as long as possible, often going to meals extremely early before everyone else got there, or much later, so no one would see her sneaking through the Entrance Hall to get into the Great Hall, and often would stay long after everyone else was gone before heading back to her common room.

Aurora glared down from the window of the owlry, watching the students walk across the lawns towards the class she was supposed to be heading to. “Wonderful children off to school to learn about Unicorns and Fluffy bunnies!” She spat, sitting down roughly against the wall and reaching up to play with a strand of her hair. “Don't know how they do it.. just trotting off to class every single day, learning useless facts about things no one cares about.” She grumbled to her cat who sat beside her, licking her paw and occasionally glancing up at the owls overhead.
Aurora reached out and gently stroked the tabby cat's back, staring at the cat for a moment before glancing up at the owls, who were all shifting uneasily on their perches due to the cat being in the room. “You probably shouldn't be in here Tink.. you know you can't reach them even if you wanted to.” She smirked and continued to stroke the cat's back with a light sigh. “At least you have fun up here.. I'm just here to get away from everything.” She grumbled lightly and let her hand fall to the ground as Tinkerbell stood up and stretched, before heading over to the stairs, her tail swishing elegantly as she did.
