What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. New Leaders, First meeting Empty New Leaders, First meeting

Post by Oliver Krum Thu Apr 25, 2013 11:12 pm

Just a few days ago Oliver had gotten the word that he would be leader of the Dark Followers with a co-leader who was Demetrius D’Eath, but the co-leader thing was not going to bother him that much. For the first order of business was a meeting. So there he was in the hideout waiting for the other members of the DF’s. He sighed and waited. HE thought when he told those of the meeting he had told them to be here by now. He went and sat in a chair at the head of a table that sat in the room and propped his feet up on the corner of the table., at least he could be comfortable as he waited for everyone to show up.

New Leaders, First meeting Empty Re: New Leaders, First meeting

She didn't think this would happen at all. She knew she was never going to be leader, but she also thought she would never even be the co-leader. And yet a few days ago, the new leader, Oliver Krum told her she would be his co-leader. She'd been shocked... totally and utterly shocked. Not just because she was going to be a leader, but because both leaders were Gryffindors.

That shouldn't matter much though. Of course, she didn't have much say in it, so she just accepted. Maybe her father would be somewhat proud that she was a leader, maybe not the leader, but whatever she could get was good enough for her. Hopefully it was for her father and siblings as well. Alexis would at least be proud.

Oliver had called a meeting and she figured that as one of the leaders, she shouldn't be late. Not that she ever really was anyways. After quickly leaving the Gryffindor common room, Damitrius made her way down to the Hideout and entered. She saw that only Oliver was there and she sighed. "Hey." she said simply with a nod in his direction.

Oliver nodded at Damitrius in acknowledgment, and motioned for her to sit to his right. It was only appropriate for her to sit to his right as she was his right hand man, or woman. "Have you heard anything?" He asked raising an eyebrow at the girl. For this particular event Oliver had chosen to be completely sober and at the moment he was regretting this decision as he sat there waiting for people to show up. They were trying his patients and he did not like it one bit. “Did you see anyone on their way or anything?” he asked with a yawn.

Damitrius shrugged at his questions, walking toward him at the table that was in the room. She sat down in the seat he had motioned her to sit at and sighed. "No." she answered in a simple tone, pausing for a second to try and remember if she actually had seen anyone. The girl looked up at the ceiling and wrinkled her nose slightly.

"No. I didn't see anyone. But knowing how the other members can be, most will be here late or something." she informed him. "A few will have some kind of excuse, the others... will probably just walk in and act like nothing happened, which it's best to leave them be so we won't lose time." she added.

"A few will probably be on time though, no one's technically late yet. We're just early, like leaders are supposed to be." The sixth year looked at her hands shortly after saying this and played with her fingers momentarily, before looking at the entrance of the Hideout. It was weird, having to be there earlier than everyone else for any reason other than to get on the leader's good side.

She felt awkward.

Oliver let out a sigh of frustration. “Nothing will get done if everyone is late all the time.” He grumbled and leaned his head back against the seat he sat in ad closed his eyes trying to relax, being frustrated with everyone from the beginning. But where he came from tardiness was not acceptable even if it was just a few seconds. Everyone had to be fifteen minutes early back and Russia and he really liked that. “Could you keep track of everyone and when they show up? I would but I’m still trying to learn who everyone is and stuff.”

Damitrius sighed.

"I know, I know. They just need a little... motivation to come to meetings. Most of the past meetings, most of which I wasn't a part of but have heard about, didn't have much going on. People showed up, others didn't. There wasn't much movement after meetings though, they just waited for the next meeting, which wasn't very recent to the previous in most cases." she said.

She had to admit, it was a little unsettling to know that not many of the other Dark Followers would be motivated enough to come to the meetings - be it on time or at all. But they had to make due with however many people actually came. For now. Sooner or later, everyone would hear that they were having more activity and would want to come, she supposed.

As usual, she had gone off into her thoughts and was brought back by Oliver asking her to keep track of everyone. "Yeah, sure." she said softly with a small nod to the boy.

"There must be a conscience for those who either do not show or show late." Oliver said. He had no clue what this would be. When in Russia if you showed up to practice for quid ditch late you had to do drills for an extra hour or until you barfed up a lung, but that was not something related. "They should have to do the dirty work for my plans. The more participation a person shows the better position they get in the group." He said quietly almost to himself. He yawned and looked at the watch on his wrist.

New Leaders, First meeting Empty Re: New Leaders, First meeting

Post by Cosmo Barbary Fri Apr 26, 2013 4:00 am

Penny hated being the first one to arrive to these stupid, terrifying Dark Follower meetings. She liked to come in with the biggest crowd so she was unnoticed. She did not like to come in first - then people assumed she was the go-getter enthusiast and looked to her to actually be carrying out plans. And if she came in last, there was grounds for people to say she did not have her heart in it. Coming in midway was the least implicating way to arrive, in her opinion.

But she did not have such luck. She entered and looked about, dismayed to see that the only others there were the new leaders. She smiled weakly, her eyes flitting between the Krum boy and d'Eath girl - both from families she had been forced to associate with since she was born - before her gaze dropped to the floor. "Hello everyone. Nice day isn't it?" she mumbled.

Finally someone had shown up. "Well welcome to this lovely meeting that no one seems to.be ibterested in joining us in," oliver said te irritation clear in his voice. "Do sit so that when everyone gets here we can start." His russian accent was thick in his anger as he waited for more people to show up. The boys eyes opene just enough so he could study the girl who had entered. she looked unhappy to be there just like he did. "This is taking to long," he said mostly to him self. if he was not waiting here for lazy arrogont people to show up he could be on the quidditch pitch or down in the potions lab working on his concoction.
