Taking a long walk

[Evangeline Flaherty]

Evangeline walked out of her house wearing light blue pants and a white tank top. Though the morning was chilly she didn't mind seeing as she knew before long she would be sweating. Reaching the end of her drive-way she started jogging towards town. There was nothing on the road with her as she jogged, no muggle, car or animal which was unusual for this time of day. Evangeline paid no mind to the emptiness around her as she jogged just the sound of her sneakers on the pavement. Within twenty minutes she reached the outskirts of London and smiled to herself knowing that she was getting faster each time she ran. She decided to run to the nearest park close by to take a long walk around it to stretch her muscles more. A car behind her honked and she turned to look not paying attention where she was going and bumped into someone in front of her. She fell to the ground with a hard thump and sighed softly as she stood back up. "I'm so sorry, i should have been paying attention to where i was going but i wasn't. I'm sorry, are you ok?" She asked not quite looking up yet.

[Yukio Moon]

Yukio was having a nice day off from his Detective work, and being the owner of Florrish and blotts. He had became the owner because he wanted to study runes, and spell books to help left his curse. And sending his cousin a set of books to study, while he was at Hogwarts didn't hurt either. Strolling along a pathway, taking in nature and the city view in only a Green long sleeve shirt, and black jeans, he didn't mind the cold, so he left his signature trench coat at home today. Not expecting anything to change in his life, until someone bumped into him. He didn't fall to the ground, lucky for him he was trained to react quickly, and was about to extend his hand to her but she stood up quickly. Putting on one of his carefree smiles, he looked at her with his Zircon and Turquoise eyes. " It's fine honestly, it wasn't your fault, just a accident. And yeah, you didn't hurt me too much "

"That's good I wouldn't have liked myself I hurt anyone." Evangeline said looking up finally and feeling like the wind was knocked out of her. She felt her heart jumping in her chest but she didn't know why. Could it be that this complete stranger cause her knees to go weak and her heart to hammer in her chest. "Well techinically it was my fault I wasn't watching where I was going because I was distracted by the sound of a car honking. I should pay more attention to that which is in front of me but I wasng." Evangeline hurried to say so she didn't look stupid. She smiled softly looking down feeling nervous around her because she had never bumped into someone while out jogging.

[Yukio Moon]

Yukio found a interest in her, as she seemed to be nervous now. He even blushed abit as his eyes were traveling up from her legs, to her body and then turned away. Not wanting to look like he was ogling her, even if he was doing that. He snapped back to his senses as she stated the reason for bumping into him, and would just nod to her. It was understandable, it usually happened around here and well things would only look up from here, hopefully anyway. " Like I said, it's fine. No one got hurt, but if you insist to blame yourself. Then just give me your name,........oops almost forget my manners, my name is Yukio Moon. I came here from Japan to find work, and take care of my cousin "

"My name is Evangeline Flaherty. It's nice to meet you Yukio Moon, that is very kind of you to take care of your cousin. I don't know of any places that are hiring around here." Evangeline said not wanting to say anything associated with the wizarding world in case he was a muggle. She tried her best to not look at him up and down to admire everything about him but did her best to not look. She did however notice him looking at her wondering if she looked like a wreck or something. Evangeline then wiped some imaginary dust from her leg thinking that now she was acting ridiculous around him. "Well you have a good day Mr. Moon, i wish you well with your job hunting and your cousin." She said not wanting to push him away but she didn't know what else to say to the gentlemen.

Yukio just chuckled abit as she seemed to try to dust off some dirt off her leg. He didn't see any on her leg, but she must have been nervous? He was acting the same way, thinking of a few things before she say her good bye. " Wait, Umm maybe you want to get to together for a lunch with me " He said rather quickly, before he blushed for speaking to her. Even if he only met her today, he wanted to get to know her more because he felt like he knew her already.

"Sure when would you like to go to lunch Mr. Moon?" Evangeline asked looking at him keeping her hands at her sides. She knew that she could get lost in his eyes, she knew that she wanted to become lost in them which scared her. One look from him was all it took to wanna just fall into his arms. Thinking of that made her look at his arms which looked powerful and she found herself wanting him to wrap them around her. Evangeline looked back up to his eyes and shyly smiled at him, wondering what it would be like to lay beneath the stars with him.

Yukio seemed to blush at her answer, she had said yes. He was beyond joy, wanting to be lost in her eyes, and wanted to hold her between his arms. Like it was a really lovely dream here being right in front of him, as he wanted to speak to kiss her. Pulling her close to his body, and passionately kiss her, but he had to think relaxing thoughts. " Well I'm not really good around the area yet, maybe we can have a picnic in the park? " He smiled at her, but he was really new around town.

"A picnic sounds wonderful, when shall we have this picnic? Why do you blush? Have I embarassed you haven't I?" Evangeline said looking at him seriously wondering what she had said to cause him embarassment. She folded one of her arms behind her back looking down at the ground wondering if she had embarassed him. Their entire conversation went through her head and she realized that she said nothing to embarass him. She continued to look down at the ground remembering what his lips look liked and felt the urge to kiss him. Evangeline knew she shouldn't have these thoughts about a man she just met but she could not help herself.

When she spoke of embarrassing him, he quickly waved his hands in the air. Doing some unknown waves, because he was nervous. " Yes, it's just someone as beautiful as you, is talking to me.I'm just nervous, that you might find me weird and different " After all he was new to London, living here anyway and his different colored eyes, were beyond normal. They were Zircon and Turquoise, Orange and Blue-green. He moved his eyes from hers, and stared looking at the side of the floor. " I'm new, so anywhere would be fine for the picnic....your home? "
