Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Déjà vu Empty Déjà vu

Post by Elliot "Ellie" Hansen Thu Aug 09, 2012 2:51 am

Ellie was boarding the Hogwarts Express for the last time... again. Her mum and dad had dropped her off and left, not really too intent to stick around. Not that they were neglecting her or anything. They simply did not think it necessary to celebrate the start of her seventh year for the second time. Damn Green Itch screwed up their plans on that one really. Ellie did not mind. So long as she could find her pals, she would be happy.

She lugged her huge trunk along with her, trying not to break a sweat in her dress. She slipped through the barrier and looked around her. She moved towards the train and then stopped, dropping the trunk for some temporary relief. She rubbed her brow and looked around, trying to spot some familiar face so she could politely call them out...

"JUDD!?" She swore she had just seen him. And there he was. "JUDD!" The person turned around. Whoops. That was an older man. "Sorry," she called back. Whoops.

Second time's the charm right? No wait, that's supposed to be third time ... well hopefully it wasn't the third this time.

Foster wasn't sure how he'd be able to handle a third year as a seventh year at Hogwarts. Wait. Slow down there Foster. his mind called out to him. First you should get passed this year, then you can think about what happens next year. Foster sighed as he arrived to King's Cross Station with his younger brother. Kyle was going off about something stupid as usual, but he'd already learned to block Kyle out. You do learn a few things from living with an annoying person like him.

He hid his arm further into his sweater and held it with his other arm, trying not to scratch it. He was much better now than he was the entire summer, but he still had that stupid rash on his arm and it itched like crazy. He felt like his arm was on fire and like it was literally just going to fall off. He walked toward the Hogwarts Express, lugging his trunk and everything with him, and he thought he heard someone calling Judd's name, but it was faint and it was getting drowned out by the chatter of everyone else in the platform.

He started looking for his friends now though. He searched for Judd first but when he couldn't find him, he started looking for Ellie. "Ellie?" he called out. He looked around for the girl and called again, "ELLIE!" as he walked around, looking for her.

Ellie glanced about when she suddenly heard her name being called for. However, she had just spotted Judd. Ah. Decisions. She dropped her trunk and dodged and ducked through the crowd to Judd. As she approached, he smiled and opened his mouth to greet her. However, she grabbed him by the wrist, whirled around, and began pulling him through the crowd.

"Ellie, what- let me go Ell-"

"Nah."

She paused to pick up her trunk and continued in this manner, following the calls of her voice. She spotted Foster and strode up to him, releasing Judd. "There we are. All together. That wasn't so painful, now was it?"

Judd's face read otherwise.

Foster continued calling out for Ellie, occasionally switching to call for Judd but then he found himself calling out for Ellie again. There were too many people around for him to go searching through them all, and too many people looked like his friends from behind to know if it was them. And it would be embarrassing if he walked up to someone thinking it was one of them and then it wasn't.

Soon enough Ellie and Judd came out of seemingly nowhere and they came up to him. Good thing, cause he was about to take his chances and go searching for them too. He looked at Judd and felt his lips twitch, although he made sure they didn't turn into a smile. "Hey Judd. Ellie." he said, letting his lips curl into a smile as he looked at the two of them.

Ellie beamed at Foster and then dropped her trunk. She looked between her friends and said, "This is the last time I'm ever going to say this... but... our traditional group hug?" And before either of the boys could argue, she grabbed both of them around the waist and pulled the three of them together, nestling among the familiar scents of her childhood friends. This was home.

"Alright, alright, geroff me!" she said, ignoring the fact that she had initiated the hug and she flailed away from it. She grinned at the two boys before saying, "So what's the plan for this year."

Judd grinned. "Personally, I'm going to work really hard on my studies." He snorted.

((Sorry for the godmode))
