What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Headmaster/Headmistress
The Headmaster or Headmistress is the chief administrator of Hogwarts. They make all major decisions regarding the safety and the day-to-day functioning of the school, and have the power to override any decision made by any other authoritative facilitator at the school, with the possible exception of the Board of Governors in Hogwarts.

Deputy Headmaster/Headmistress
Hogwarts also has a Deputy headmaster or Deputy Headmistress that assists the Headmaster in his duties. In the event of a Headmaster's incapacitation, the Deputy Headmaster serves as temporary Headmaster until the Board of Governors can elect a new, permanent one.

Heads of Houses
The Head of Houses are Professors at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry who have the duty of looking after and punishing the students of their Houses - Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin. The Head of House also serves as a Professor of a subject and regulates his or her house by choosing Prefects and Quidditch Captains.

Hogwarts Professors
The Professors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry are the educators of the student inhabitants at the school. They each have their own subject to teach their students and teach every year from First to Seventh. Professors also have the power to award and dock points, give detention and write notes for certain areas and activities that are usually off limits, such as the Restricted Section in the Hogwarts Library or permission to practice on the Quidditch pitch.

Nurses
The Nurses of Hogwarts School and Witchcraft and Wizardry have the task of healing the bumps and bruises of the school's students. The nurses are lead by the Matron of the Hospital Wing and are often busy throughout the year, most run off of their feet when the students are playing Quidditch.

Student Positions
Hogwarts has eight prefect positions, one for each house, and also the head boy and head girl positions. These students may give punishments to other students for misbehavior. Also, each house has a quidditch captain.

What job they want:Charms Professor/ Head of Ravenclaw(Doesn't have to be)
Why they'd be good at it:One of Hermione's favorite subjects was always Charms, and she was pretty good at it. Plus, she is a very intelligent person and she'd be able to handle teaching the subject.

(I'm not exactly sure, if I can even apply for these positions yet, since they seem to be filled, but no one has posted in the class for almost a month now...)

What job they want: Flying Instructor and Head of Slytherin House
Why they'd be good at it: Ryan has always had a thing for Flying. He would swing  by every class at Hogwarts but Flying was his favorite. He was even TA for the Instructor at Hogwarts. After Hogwarts Ryan pursued a career in the International Quidditch Association but didn't go well. So he is looking for a teaching position of his favorite subject, desipte all that's been going on at Hogwarts. And Slytherin being his house at Hogwarts he is very loyal to his house.

What job they want: Matron of the Hospital Wing
Why they'd be good at it: Rowan has a passion for helping those in need; he's also spent the last 11 years at St. Mungo's, working his way up from an intern on the first floor (Creature-Induced Injuries) to a doctor on the fourth floor (Spell Damage). Plus, his personal goal has always been to take over the position of Matron, since his greatest inspiration and influence during his time at Hogwarts was the Matron on duty at that time.

Why they'd be good at it:He loves Quidditch,he is great at it,has good leadership skills and will use every opportunity in his favor.He is athletic can plan training sessions were he could teach people well without taking much time and without exhausting them.He always tends to protect his friends so he will try and protect his team mates.

What job they want:Hufflepuff Prefect (assuming it's open as Ryo has graduated)
Why they'd be good at it:Jackson is a hardworking, loyal individual. He can easily empathise with other students so would be a strong person for his housemates to come to for advice. In addition he is highly organised and efficient, not to mention gets decent grades and would love to help others in any area of study that he can. Finally he loves Hogwarts and everything about it and would serve as a good ambassador to the school, especially Hufflepuff.
