Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

It was a warm, summer evening roughly around five o'clock, the sun was already descending slowly from the horizon until it was nothing but half a circle. Caiden felt bored of studying in the Slytherin Common room, plus he couldn't focus with all those loads students laughing and yelling over the top of the voice. Or at least he thought of it that way. He needed a place to go for peace and quite. Somwhere where he could study quietly, he needed some fresh air anyway. Caiden pulled on a grey jacket with a hoodie and started making his way out of the common room. Up the spiralling staircase(whatever thats called), out the be great door, down the porch he made his way out of Hogwart and started walking down to The Great Lake to his favourite spot under the tree near the lake. Finally he made it to his spot and perched himself against the tree and pulled out his Ancient History books, a jar of ink and pulled out a quilt from his bag. Then soon started to lose himself into his book, writing down the answers into his little notebooks and reading through his books. He loved studying, it was a great way to past time, it was his get away from the real world and if he wasn't reading or studying he'd go a little nuts in the head. He was determined to get better grade then he got last year in his fifth years. Lets not get into those little details for now, we'll probably talk about it later.

The entire day had basically been wasted on nothing. Being in the Slytherin dorms all day was boring but it was better than being among all those girls who were in the common room talking about stupid things that happened throughout the year. Of course, she shouldn't be talking, her best friend was one of those who was down there talking about those things and she'd been the one to send her there. She needed to know something but those girls just annoyed her, so she'd asked her best friend to go ask around for her.

The girl had never come back up though. She'd been absorbed by the conversations and by some miracle, when Danielle went down there, she was able to get out of the common room without being detected. Well, almost. One girl came up to her just as she reached the doors and asked her to join in there conversation. Dani had hesitated and shouted something out about a Hufflepuff Vampire that had been the center of their attention. They began to go crazy with the conversation and she found the opportunity to sneak out as they spoke over each other.

Dani immediately headed for the Great Lake, since it was pretty much the only safe place at the school right now. Everyone was back inside the castle because it was already starting to get dark, so it was the perfect place to be right now. As she approached the lake, something caught Dani's eye. Another person was sitting where she usually sat everytime she went to the lake. Well, she supposed that the tree was everyone's favorite place, so she couldn't complain. Sighing, she continued toward the tree and noticed that it was one of her housemates that was sitting there. Caiden, she believed his name was, though she never really interacted with the boy. "Hey, mind if I join you?" she asked him when she got to the tree.

Caiden was reading through his book, he had already written down his answers for his homework and packed his ink and quilt into his backpack. But he continued to read through his Ancient History, since he had nothing to do at the moment. He liked to be in front of the class sometime, it gave him a better idea of what the subject was going to be. He would read through the book again and again if he wanted to. He would read through his Defence against the dark art book over and over again and already be expert on the subject. As he was reading he heard someone beside him speak to him. He looked up and saw his housemate standing above him. What was her name again? Oh right Dani thats it. 'Oh, hey Dani,' he rose an eyebrows. 'I don't see why not,' he chuckled softly as he closed his Ancient History book on the ground near his bag. Caiden couldn't help but wander what she was doing here, why all of a sudden she was talking to him. She never spoke to him before. Not many student liked him, usually they'd just avoid him, treat him as he was invisible. The only time they would come and talk to him would be to make fun of him. Hey, its not his fault he was attacked by a flock of bird when he was little therefore making him scared of birds. 'What brings you here?' he asked.

Ezra had been walking through the grounds and ended up by the lake only to see Danielle standing by the tree that seemed to be every one's favorite with some guy. He narrowed his eyes at the boy and walked over to the two. "Hey Dani," he said putting his arm around her and kissing her on the head. "This guy bothering?" he asked glaring at the guy giving him a cold hard stare. He vaguely recognized the guy and right now he didn't care who he was, but Ezra was sure he was in the same house as him and Dani.

Before Caiden could say anything to the girl, he was interrupted by a guy who seemed to be her boyfriend by the look of it. 'This guy bothering?' the guy said, he notices the cold hard stare the guy had given him. Brr! Cold!. Caiden could smell trouble in the air and he wrinkled his noise as if it smelt like an stinky, old sock. Caiden let out a quiet groan as he shoved his book into his bag. The last thing he needed was trouble and more bullies to pick on him. 'Look I don't want trouble, I can leave,' said Caiden, pulling his backpack on his shoulder, getting ready to leave and at the same time he reached for his wand in his pocket and gripped it tightly. The sweat on his hand made it hard for him to grip onto it but he kept a firm grip of it, ready to defend himself.
