What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Hogwarts Graduation - Page 3 Empty Re: Hogwarts Graduation

Post by Aaron Marcheti Sat Jun 02, 2012 9:14 pm

Aaron smiled to everyone he passed as he made his way into the graduation. It was the first time he had shown his face to anyone in a little over three months. He had spent the last few months secluded only communicating with Whight and Sylvyr. He had been working on making a wand that was perfect for himself, but for anyone who knew anything about wand lore, they knew that was no easy task. It had been, ultimately, a huge failure. It had not been a complete waste of time, though, as it had given him a chance to bone up on his casting skills and it had improved his wand making abilities.

He was dressed as he usually was, very lavishly and expensive, he did not leave his room above the wand shop unless he was dressed accordingly. He had wanted his name to fall out of the loop after the whole Grindlewald incident. Aaron based his entire life on being a secretive person and that had created way to much heat. He could have easily played it off, but he preferred the safe route, and just completely cut himself off from society.

He congratulated a few students, all of whom he had never met before in his life, but he was trying to blend in. He noticed a few familiar faces, mostly that of Jess Potter, but he stayed away from them for most of the graduation until he wanted to speak to them. Luckily, so far, he had not been noticed by anyone and he hoped it stayed that way.

After a little while of randomly wandering around, he decided he would speak with Jess Potter. He had been a little weary of meeting with him as he had just up and vanished from the face of the planet. He was never officially part of the Order but he had worked for them. He grew weary of the Death Eaters and now that he had... disposed of Whight and Silvyr, he was going to have a new plan of attack. He hated that he was having to start over, but even if there was the slightest increase in danger for him, he would rather restart.

He approached Jess from behind and he spoke softly. "It has been awhile Professor Potter." He smirked and he extended his hand, focusing his eyes directly on Jess's. He wanted to respect the man as best as he could. He was, after all, in a position of great power and Aaron was not a fool who openly disrespected people. One did not get very far with an attitude like that. "I am sure my absence has raised a few questions, but I assure you, we can discuss them in private." He looked around at all of the graduates, keeping the smile plastered on his face.

Post by Katelyn Graves Sat Jun 02, 2012 10:02 pm

Kasumi stared at her phone and waited for her dad to reply...and he never did. She kind of felt relieved that he didn't because then she wouldnt have to worry about ruining her best friends night. While staring at her phone, she saw Yumi coming towards her out of the corner of her eye. She looked up with one tear strolling down her cheek. She wiped it away so noone would realize that she was sad.

Yumi came over to her and tried to comfort her so she wouldnt be sad, and it worked. Yumi's powerful words worked and helped Kasumi gain her confidence back. After Yumi talked to Kasumi, and went because the graduation was going to start, she texted Yumi and wrote: "Thank you for helping me tonight eventhough I was heart broken. I feel ten times better and I hope to see you soon bestie. I love you Yumi! Kasumi xoxo." she turned her phone off and took her camera out of her purse. She wanted to take good pictures of her bestie before she was gone for good. Little did she know that Yumi would be coming back. Kasumi just sat there and waited for Yumi's graduation to start.

Post by James Rosier Sun Jun 03, 2012 7:32 pm

"Damn clock didn't wake me up. What are these things good for anyway?"

Yawn. A slight noise was let out by the tall, slender, brown haired kid that was sleeping in his bed, in the middle of the boy's dormitories at the slytherin dungeon. He was the only one in there, in fact, probably one of the few students that were still in the dungeon, but that's just because today didn't really care a lot for him. It only meant that he was one step closer to graduating from Hogwarts since he was now going into 7th grade, and ready to graduate and avenge his fallen father. He was pretty sure of himself, and with the thought of himself, crowned one of the best Death Eaters forming in his head, he rose half of his body, getting the sheet's from the bed out of his body and stretching his arm's to the max, looking out the window. Probably most of the slytherin students were aldready up in the great hall waiting for the so beloved graduation ceremony. Finally, with his head cleared of the thought of him standing on the pile of a bunch of murdered guys that worked for the Ministry of Magic, he got his legs out of bed, going to get dressed. He looked around, making sure his hamster was well sleeping on a small bed he had made, specially for him on his balcony.

He made a small smile, and got up. His tattoo's filling his body were quickly hidden, when he opened the wardrobe and took out a black and white v-neck stripped t-shirt, putting it on, and then a light brown shirt over it, grabbing a pair of white skinny jeans that he had on the lower shelf of his wardrobe and putting them on, ripped on his left knee and right tigh. He shrugged his shoulders and waved his hair around , fixing it. He grabbed his sunglasses from his table next to his bed, looked at the mirror and a big smile appeared, one only selected people could see. He was looking mad cool. He looked to see who was in the common room, not seeing anyone important apart from a girl or two he found atractive, he went ouside, making his way to the Great Hall. He passed through his Charm's teacher, not even caring to greet him since he didn't like that class that much and went to sit on the Slytherin table, alone.

Post by Amelia Lyons Thu Jun 07, 2012 5:15 pm

Amelia was standing beside Jess, watching the Great Hall fill and getting her customary butterflies in her stomach (the meanest, fiercest butterflies ever, mind you) at the prospect of having to speak in front of the graduates in a few minutes. The Hall was nearly full now with graduating students, their families, the staff, younger students come to see the festivities, and all the big names in the magical world.

Her mother had finally stopped rubbing elbows with those big names and found a seat at a table with a head of department in the ministry and his much, much younger new wife. And the way his hand was drifting down the back of her dress, it didn’t seem like it was going to stop before he did something in appropriate, so Amelia carefully averted her eyes and looked to Jess again, who was exchanging words with a tall, dark-haired man with facial hair that Amelia didn’t recognize. The conversation didn’t look like it was going to involve her, which would usually have been Amelia’s cue to dismiss herself discreetly and go look for somewhere to be alone, but the ceremony would need to start soon and she needed to coordinate with Jess before that could happen.

“I apologize for the interruption,” the young headmistress said carefully, stepping toward Jess and now standing across from the man she didn’t recognize, offering him an inclination of her head to offer him her apologies as well. She would need to find out later who he was. Anyone who came looking to talk to Jess was probably someone she should at least have a vague recognition of, as was due her position as headmistress.

“The ceremony will begin shortly,” Amelia said, turning her attention to Jess now, “with my welcoming of the guests and congratulating of the students. Then did you want to say a few words before the student speakers are introduced?” the redhead asked, not wanting to trod on any toes with this ceremony, especially Jess’s; he seemed to be a staff member that actually liked the idea of her being headmistress despite her age and occasional (that’s putting it nicely) lack of social graces, and Amelia wanted to keep it that way.

Hogwarts Graduation - Page 3 Empty Re: Hogwarts Graduation

Post by Freyja Podmore Thu Jun 07, 2012 9:36 pm

Now she was getting quite a bit nervous. They probably hadn't been there very long, but it felt like she'd been in there forever. It was a feeling she really didn't like to have, it made the day longer for her, and while she wanted to enjoy her graduation, she wanted it to be over quickly. The waiting made her become restless and she just wanted to leave there already. But it's not like she wanted to get away from the people there, no that wasn't it. She just wasn't one to like to be in the spotlight for very long, and during these kinds of ceremonies, there was always a time where each student was in that spotlight that she didn't want to be in.

Sometimes she wondered what had happened to the little girl who loved the spotlight, that she used to be. But other times she was glad she wasn't like that anymore, it would undoubtedly cause her some kind of trouble if she was still like that. Sighing, Yumi turned around and looked back to the Slytherin table. A few Slytherins were sitting down while others were with their families ... or friends. She decided that she would finally take her place at the Slytherin table, so that was whet she did.

Not paying much attention to anyone or anything else that was in the Great Hall, the girl walked to the table and sat down, putting her arm on the table and her hand on her cheek. She hoped the ceremony would start soon and that everything went smoothly.

Hogwarts Graduation - Page 3 Empty Re: Hogwarts Graduation

Post by Khaat Lupin Sun Jun 10, 2012 8:57 pm

Khaat had an emotional interest in being here today. Her daughter, Mis, was graduating. So was her, well, her son, Eli. Her parents had wanted to see their grandchildren graduate, but Robert was unable to come, with problems at St. Mungos he could not walk away from. By all mean, though, he wanted Khaat to go.

So she had come, and she had brought Brian with her. They were dressed sharply. He had a brilliantly tailored black suit, and she had a dress of pink lace with black trim. It had long lace sleeves. It was designed purposely to hide the steadily increasing green rash. She had used a conceal spell on the rash, just in case, and she and Brian slipped as quietly as they knew how into the Great Hall. She did not want to call attention to herself. This was no occasion to do that. This was a day to honor her children.

She insisted on sliding into the back corner of the hall and staying out of the way, where she and Brian could simply watch the people. She spotted Eli and Mis quite easily. Eli was incredibly handsome as always. And Mis? She was simply a princess. Khaat had always thought Mis was beautiful. But today was an exception. Today, Mis hadn't ever looked more breathtaking.

"You've done a good job," Brian said to her softly. "That boy has become a man, and Mis is a beautiful woman."

"Even if they didn't want to finish?" Khaat laughed.

"Despite all your maternal interferance," he laughed. "They did survive you."

Roxi felt disgusting. She was in her House robes as she stumbled to the ceremony. The nurse had told her that her case was extremely worrisome, that moving from her bed was incredibly dangerous and should not, under any circumstances, be risked. But Roxi had friends graduating. She could not imagine letting them go without her saying her good byes and well wishes.

She tripped into the Great Hall and immediately collapsed at a table. Everything on her was green, for the most part. Her palms were white and had patches of real skin on them, and there was only green on her throat and her right cheek. She was pale but beads of sweat from her fever travelled down her nose. She drank an entire goblet of pumpkin juice and willed the ceremony to pass quickly.
