And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Two Slytherins and a Ravenclaw Empty Two Slytherins and a Ravenclaw

Howl sat on a stone bench in the courtyard and practiced a transfiguration spell that turned animals into objects. He was practicing on turning ants into a variety of small objects like buttons or sewing needles. He was doing fairly well, although, on occasion, he'd accidentally end up transfiguring the poor creature only half-way, so there would be buttons moving around with little legs or an ant with a pinhead. He loved Transfiguration, but it definitely wasn't his strongest suit. He'd just have to work harder. So absorbed in his practice, he didn't notice he was being approached...

Two Slytherins and a Ravenclaw Empty Re: Two Slytherins and a Ravenclaw

Juliet was sitting across the courtyard and watched a Ravenclaw transfiguring small things, such as small insects into other objects. She had no experiences in that sort of thing, but found it funny, though he was quite good. Besides the occasional, only half transformed creatures. She had noticed a few near her feet and squirmed, frighten by bugs. Yes a Slytherin, afraid of bugs, crazy right? Juliet screamed as one crawled up her foot and fell off the rock she was sitting on. She looked up quickly, wondering if anyone had seen her fall ,or even heard her shriek.

Danielle stood behind Juliet, maybe a few yard away from her. She had planned to sneak up behind her friend and try to scare her as she so often did. It would probably be easy, as Juliet was distracted, watching a boy probably about two years younger than them. She had just been about to walk up behind her when Juliet screamed. Danielle, surprised at first, took a frightened step back but soon, upon inspecting her friend's surroundings, she noticed that Juliet had been scared by a bug crawling onto her.

The laughter she tried to hold back became too great and she burst into a laughing fit. She walked up to Juliet ajd put her hand on the girl's shoulder. "Calm down Jules, they're only bugs." she said softly, trying to stop laughing.

Juliet looked at her friend then shrugged. "These are the bugs that the Ravenclaw transformed. They're only half formed too." Juliet mumbled holding one up. "Where did you even come from?" She asked her friend, smiling a bit. She had already known the answer. She was planning to sneak up on her and scare her. She knew Juliet would scream, but Juliet still didn't know how she came behind her so quickly. "You're quite weird sometimes Dani..." She said with a grin.

Howl looked up from his transfiguration practice and noticed the girls talking. He recognized one of them as a Dark Follower and was sure he'd probably be recognized as such as well, but he didn't recognize the other one. He got up and approached them, always in the mood to be sociable. "Hello, ladies. Nice day, isn't it? Sorry if the bugs scared you. I've been trying to practice my transfiguration. It's one of my favorite classes, but it's probably one of the most complex classes I have, too. So, what are you two up to this fine day?" He looked between the two of them with a curious expression on his face.

Juliet threw the bug at Dani and snickered, knowing her friend wouldn't be afraid of it, though it was disfigured. As she looked up she noticed a boy walking towards them. She knew who he was, she had been watching him for the past hour or so and blushed when she noticed her. "Uh...hello." Juliet mumbled, looking down. Though she had been quite friendly towards most guys, she was starting to get nervous around some, and even her palms sweat. She hated it more now, she just wanted her friends and whatever feelings she had now towards certain boys annoyed her. "It's hot for one thing." She said, keeping her head down.

Dani glanced over at the Ravenclaw boy and smirked. "I may be weird, but at least I'm not a stalker." she said playfully. "What's with you and Ravenclaw boys?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. She knew the boy, he was a Dark Follower like she was, but Dani didn't really care. She made it seem like she barely knew he was even there and, she caught the bug Juliet threw at her. Dani took her wand out and tapped the bug lightly, saying an incantation that returned it to it's normal form. The girl didn't take Transfiguration, but that didn't mean she couldn't be talented at it.

As the boy approached them, Dani bent down and placed the bug on the ground, still paying no attention to the boy. Finally she looked at him and gave a nod in his direction. "Hey." she said simply, watching Juliet's head go down. "I was just going to scare her. But your deformed bugs got to her before I did." she shot a playful glance at Juliet.

Howl looked amused by both of their reactions. Juliet seemed interested in him, and Dani seemed disinterested. Maybe he could stir some things up a bit for a little fun. "Yes, it is pretty hot out, though I'd imagine the day would be hard-pressed to get as hot as you, Miss...?" He looked to Juliet, seeming to not be paying any attention to Dani at all. It almost would be nice if he could give such "pick-up lines" a more smooth delivery. But when your voice sounds like you've been smoking several packs of Marlboros a day ever since you were a child (which was not the case, as he had never picked up a cigarette, but that's what his voice SOUNDED like), smooth deliveries were impossible.

Juliet looked at Dani and shrugged. "Most of them are cute I guess." She looked at the bug crawling away and smiled. "You have to teach me that soon. Might come in handy." She looked across the way as the bug crawled away. Her eyes never leaving it once she found it.

Juliet blushed darker and kept her head down. "I would've heard you coming along Dani...You're not the quietest girl I know. Kasumi is." She rolled her eyes at Kasumi's name and rocked on the balls of her feet. She didn't know what it was with the Ravenclaw boys, but they got to her head more than anything. "OH! My name's Juliet Valentine, you're Howl...I know who you are..I've seen you around school..." She said slowly, feeling more like a stalker.

Dani rolled her eyes and Juliet and chuckled. "I understand that. But most of them are younger than you. Isn't that weird to you?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. She watched the boy direct his attention to Juliet and she rolled her eyes again at his pick up line. She shook her head a bit at it, it was pretty lame, especially the way he said it.

With the boy ignoring her, Dani decided two could play at that game and she began to act as if he wasn't there again. More bugs that he'd tried to change were about and she picked one up. Dani held it in front of Juliet's face, knowing she would scream, and she poked it with her wand for a moment. "It's really simple, Juliet. You just have to know the incantation." she tapped the big and said the incantation again and it was turned back to normal. The girl set it down and she watched it crawl away.
