Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Multiple simultaneous spells from multiple shooters? Babies! The whole lot of them. But they grossly miscalculated her. She had no thoughts about life whatsoever--hers nor anyone else's. She had not found anyone worth living for. Not even herself. She merely lived because she had not died yet. She memorized as many faces around her as she could come up with and resorted to the training she knew. She'd had enough. They could all go to hell, but she intended to not give them much to work with.

She dodged the confringo. She had had a scheme of her own to put them all out of business, but then again, that would have left Grindlewald to fend for his own yellowbellied skin. But he hadn't ever exactly run to her defense either. She knew the words for the spell she wanted o cast. The spell was relatively easy to weave but did take a moment, and she wasn't sure she had that moment.

But then another spell, out of the invisible ''thing' that was wasn't witch or wizard enough to come out of the shadows. The spell struck her and she felt her knees buckle under her. She fell to the pavement. It had inconvenieced, at least for the moment, her own contingency plans--plans that might have worked well to even benefit the morons that fired at her if they had simply realized that a mercenary was always for sale to the highest bidder. She was outraged now, though. Sod them all. Why hand them any advantage now? As she saw it, she had one resort. She decided to make it altogether too simple for them and just surrender. Momentarily. And then, when she had the chance, someone was going to die. She was beginning to calculate which one would provide the greatest chance for her to escape. For now, all she needed to do was to simply do nothing. Not get up, not fire back. Just...do...nothing.

((i guess i shall post Very Happy))

Ne'Os walked over to Zada he let himself become visible again. He wondered what her reaction might be should she decide to look at him. "Well my dear you are in quite a pickle...Though i will be honest i thought you would have no issue taking out Jess and I. I hope you aren't losing your touch." he said tauntingly wondering if he was pushing it. "Expelliarmus, Incarcerous" he said his intentions were to disarm and bind her but he knew if she wanted to avoid these spells she could.

OOC: the last i knew jess's internet was buggered up. so if he does not post, then i presume you and i should carry on with this, if thats alright with you. )

Zada did her best to look conciliatory. At the moment this had potential of either working in her favor or blowing up, But, she didn't much care either way. It was whatever they had wanted her for that bothered her now. She decided to show as little a response as she could.

"It looks like you may be ahead this round," she conceeded. But the game was far from over. Emof--presumably the invisible one. Potter. And the others. She committed them indelibly to her brain. She smiled only slightly as the incarcerous ropes bound her and she allowed it. It was why she was good at games of strategy. Her mind was working overtime and she had plans for a good many people, but right now, Potter and Emof were towards the top of her list. "Do at least try not to damage the fur, would you?" she asked. "I should not like to have to replace it."

Jess stood there for a few quite seconds, gazing at Forbes as she simply accepted what she obviously deemed to be her fate, and took the punishments they were handing out.

It didn't add up.

Still, he had little time to worry about such thing, and now certainly wasn't the right time to be doing so anyway. He'd been thrown a lifeline, it seemed, and he was intent to take it as soon as he could.

"Don't waste your breath," he said, looking at the position he assumed Emof was standing before raising his own wand. "Imperio," he cast, a shudder rocking his body as he sent the disdainful spell towards his enemy. "It's all for the best," he thought to himself over and over, purposefully avoiding phrasing this in another all too apparent manner.

"Emof," he said after the spell was cast and that alien tether appeared between Forbes and himself. "She is under my control, she has her instructions... You and she need to leave now," he said, pointing his wand at Zada and waving it, forcing her to send a message via patronus to her boss. He'd seen the man receive that form of message many a time before, it wouldn't look too out of the ordinary.

"Go now, he's waiting." Was all he said, before turning on his heel and leaving the courtyard, silently wishing his opposite number all the luck in the world.

Ne'Os finely came back into view and turned to Jess "Very well" he said looking at his wand for a second it really wasn't his but the poor soul who had owned the body he now occupied. "Zada dear take this and lets go. The sooner we get this done the better" he said placing his wand in her hand wondering if she would have enough sense to grab it or if it would just fall to the ground. He held out his arm so she could take it and take him to meet either his triumph or his doom.

Zada's wand seemed to respond on its own and send the patronus. So far, she had no objections to sending the patronus. They had done her relatiely no harm, other than pissing her off. And that wasn't the first time that had ever hapened, and she doubted it would be her last. She was allowing her mind to merely watch and listen, observing. And it didn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out she was a pawn. And if she was a pawn they had a bigger fish to catch. Gellert. Well, now, wasn't that interesting?

She was far more interested to see whether Gellert would survive what was to come. By her reckoning, he might not neceesarily suspect her coming, unscheduled as it was. But then again, Zada never answered to anyone's schedule. And it had been safer for Gellert if he could call his own shots and their meetings were often impromtu and at odd hours. And that now might well prove to be his undoing if he miscalculated. She didn't particularly care if he survived or not, and It was one of the things that had made them able to work with each other. There had been no expectations except that she was paid per task.

Did she have enough of her brain cells to take her wand? Really? That was just a trifle insulting but not enough that she'd have wanted to toast Emof even if she had had control. She didn't have much control of her own body, but it did function to whatever they asked her to do, without her consent. It had taken the wand and fired it. It hadn't been her best patronus but adequate. Then Emof offered her his arm, and she had been instructed to take him to Gellert. She took the Death Eater's arm and took him to the Ministry.
