Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Even Thought it Hurts Empty Even Thought it Hurts

Everything seemed a little strange ever since the whole haunted house thing. He spent a little bit of time in the Hospital wing recovering but had come out with only a minor pain in his left arm. It was all still very vivid in his memory. The man's voice haunted him and he thought back to it every now and then. Sometimes he woke up in a cold sweat after dreaming of chasing after Hitame, trying his hardest to save her. He always got so close, then he would wake up in a cold sweat.

He had not spoken to Hitame since that night, and he understood why. It was probably all too much for her to handle, so he did not get too upset about it. But, none the less, he wanted to speak to her. He wanted to see how she was doing for the most part, but really he just wanted to see her. The feeling he got when she was around was almost intoxicating, like a drug, and he would do anything to be around her.

He had asked her to meet him in the clock tower. It was peaceful there and there was little chance they would be interrupted. He dressed nicely, listening to the hassle from the other Gryffindor's who stood behind him laughing as he fixed his hair and picked out the perfect outfit. He did not care though, she was worth all of the laughter. None of it phased him.

Now he stood by the window looking out at the courtyard. His hands were a little shaky and the butterflies in his stomach were going crazy. He wondered if she felt the same way that he did, and he hoped he would be brave enough to admit it to her. He let out a sigh and then glanced at the door again, knowing she would walk through the doors any moment.

Even Thought it Hurts Empty Re: Even Thought it Hurts

Nothing was ever normal in her life. Before she knew she was a witch, her life was a lie, she lived as a muggle having no knowledge of what she really was. But when she found out that she wasn't a muggle, that she was a witch, she thought she was a muggleborn, same for her sister, but no. No, it turns out that they are purebloods. They are the kind of people they hated the most, they are part of a Death Eater family. And the worst part of it all, their parents aren't dead. It wasn't fair, no one that she knew had to go through that. No one understood what it was like to live a lie for so long, for thirteen years. Thirteen years in which she had to take care of her sister by herself, hiding from anyone who would want to take them to an orphanage.

To make matters worse, not that long ago, there was an incident during Halloween in which she almost lost the most important person in her life. Hitame had been so scared in that brief time where her sister was in so much danger. Sure she was safe now, but it bugged Hitame that she had been so helpless during that time, she couldn't do anything to save her sister. Naomi wasn't sure what had happened and how she had gotten out of that danger, it seemed her mind erased it from her consciousness, and as far as she knew Hitame had saved her. But that wasn't true and no matter how many times she told Naomi she had done nothing, she wouldn't listen, her mind told her that Hitame saved her and nothing would change her mind. Hitame knew it wasn't true and she needed to make things right with the person who actually saved her sister. She had to make things right with Brian.

That's why when he had told her to meet him in the clock tower, she felt she had to go. She could've easily ignored the request, but she hadn't. For some reason, besides the fact that he had saved Naomi, Brian had been on her mind since they were at the Haunted House. Every time she thought about him she blushed for some odd reason, and she always smiled at her thoughts of him. She didn't know what she should wear to meet up with him, but she didn't want to make it seem like she was making a big deal out of seeing him. So she decided to just wear clothes that were normal for her, but they were the new clothes that she had been saving for Christmas, when she would see Sophia again. She had plenty of other clothes she could wear anyways. Before she left for the tower, Hitame made sure that the cut of her cheekbone was covered as much as possible. It had been made a while ago, and now it was a scar, a scar she was always trying to hide.

Taking a deep breath, she stood in front of the door that led to the tower and she stared at it for a moment before she entered it. Her footsteps were soft and quiet as she walked up the stone stairs and she opened the door slowly. Shutting the door behind her, a sudden fear took her over and she stood at the door, her hand still on the handle, staring across the tower at Brian. Her other hand immediately began to come up to her cheek, trying to cover the scar but she held it back, behind her back.
