What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. I am actually quite surprised that I am the one to make this thread this year. Usually, someone beats me to the punch. Or perhaps it just isn't cool to dress up on Halloween anymore. Whatever the case, let's get to it, shall we?

Ah, well, I'm not dressing up, but my 18 pound orange tabby, Mo, who is a certified therapy cat, is dressing up as a Texas Ranger. He has a cowboy hat, a silver Texas Ranger star, a genuine black suede fringe vest with a Texas Ranger star, a collar with pewter Texas longhorns on it, and a little Texas longhorn charm hanging from the collar. Oh, and lets not forget the cowboy cap rifle that is to scale. I might even post a pic of him here with a spoiler when I get a good pic. The patients he visits in nursing homes LOVE to see him all dressed up.

I just got upstaged... by a cat. What does that say about me, exactly?

After saving up the money necessary to buy myself a pair of Black Sclera Contact Lenses (holyfudgetheywereexpensive), I decided to play the role of one of Supernatural's demons. I even persuaded my best mate to go as Castiel, as I could not, due to the nature of my hair. I can already picture the glares that I will receive from mothers after I've walked past their kids with the contacts in. =P

Oh, now that's just entirely too cool!!! I want to see pics!!!!

By the way, Mo was a fly fisherman last year. And he did win a pet costume contest, fishing vest, fishing hat with real lures, fishing pole and all! Can you tell I don't believe in spoiling little animals?????

My cats would kill me if I dressed them up...

like, clawed out throat kill me.

I'd be dead as a doornail.

But that does sound awesome, i want pictures from both of you.

As for me, i don't know. Does anyone have any low cost suggestions? I do have a kilt which could come out of its closet, but technically that's not meant to be worn except with the band >.>

Any low-budget ideas? I'm saving for a flight, can't spend too much moneys xD

Zombies are perfect. 2$ face paint, 5$ bottle of fake blood, and just hack away at some unfitting clothing. I was in a similar boat two years ago, and this costume worked out well enough for me. Besides, when you're a zombie, no one really questions you when you attempt to eat their brains.

Its sorta like "I'm a zombie. Nuff said".
