Just another day that started like any other... or not?

It was the weekend and Arabella was off work and bored and didn't have anything to do. So what better thing to do then go shopping? As she walked through the crowded streets of London with shopping bags in her hands she noticed two things about London. One people would run over you if you didn't walk fast enough and two you had to be agressive when it comes to walking down the streets of London. Walking through the maze of people she sighed for when it was the weekend London was a mad house, from tourist to people shopping it was pure crazy! Arabella wished she was like a sister for she was fast and she could through crowds like this easily for she was like a blur to everyone else it scared them.

Finally getting somewhat out of the packed streets Arabella made her way into the bookstore she been wanting to go to for weeks. It seemed like everytime she wanted to she was always busy at work or doing other things. Arabella didn't get how Sophia did all the things she did with four kids and a job and on top of that a boyfriend. Arabella was lucky enough to survive just having a job and paperwork to do. As she entered the bookstore the bell tinkled above her head bit she simply ignored.

Walking further in the store Arabella started looking around for any type of book that caught her eye. "Hm... mystery that sounds interesting."said Arabella as she walked down the mystery section. Arabella loved any type of books from magical to muggle she loved them all. Browsing through the books she found a interesting one and started reading the back of the cover before deciding to get it. Deciding to get one book for now seeing how she had other shopping bags in her hands Arabella headed towards the register.

As the cashier rung her book up and told her how much it was Arabella paid for it and headed outside reading her book. Not really paying attention to where she was walking she bumped hardly into someone knocking her down and her things out of her hands. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where I was going are you ok?"Arabella asked softly.

Now being in school didn't sound so bad, at least he had something to do on the weekends. Now all Jake could do was work and today he couldn't even do that. He had gotten a day off work and it was really bugging him. He was someone who liked to work and didn't really like it when he got a day off. Even with all the work he had at the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, he didn't like having the day off, it would only back him up in his work. But he hadn't argued with what his boss said and he hadn't gone to work today. But now he had no idea what to do, he couldn't go home, it was too boring there right now, without his little sister there to keep him company. At least it would only be like this for two more years.

Now he just walked through the crowded streets of London, looking into some shops as s he walked by them. Nothing in any of the shops really interested him so he just continued to walk by. As he walked by, something caught his eye and he turned his head to see a small bookstore across the street from him. He crossed the street and headed toward the store, wondering what kinds of books it had inside. Jake loved to read books, but only if they were some kind of adventure story. He walked in, ignoring the bell as it tinkled above him, and he immediately began to walk through the isles of the store. He looked at all kinds of different books and only one of them really caught his eye.

He read the back cover of the book quickly and figuring that it was a pretty good book, he decided to get it. No other book really interested him so he decided to get the one book only. Jake walked to the register and as the cashier rung it up he got out his money and paid for it quickly. The cashier asked if he wanted a bag and he simply said no, and grabbed the book quickly. He walked out of the store and stood in front of it wondering where he should go now. A few moments later he heard the door of the store open, and someone bumped into him. The impact made him fly forward but it didn't make him fall, instead he turned to see that the person who bumped into him was on the ground. "Oh sorry. I should be asking that, seeing as how you are the one on the ground not me." he smiled at the girl, offering his hand to help her up.

As the guy offered her his hand she took it and lifted herself up before dusting the dirt of her clothes from the fall. "Thanks, but honestly it was my fault I wasn't looking where I was walking."said Arabella as she looked down at her shopping bags and sighed. As she bent down to gather her shopping bags it only took her minute to get them before she straightened back up again. "Oh so rude of me I'm Arabella, Arabella Granger."said Arabella as she stuck her hand out for him to shake. By the looks of the guy he looked to be about her age maybe alittle bit younger.

"So um... I'm sorry for bumping into you, I hope your ok."said Arabella softly as she looked at him seeing if he was or not. By the looks of it he didn't look hurt but looks could be misleading at times. "If your hurt I could heal you, I'm not a healer for nothing."said Arabella softly. "Oh crap, he's probably going to ask what a healer is if he's a muggle."Arabella thought to herself. "Nice one Ara nice one!"Arabella thought to herself as she started cursing to herself. But for some reason Arabella had a weird feeling that he wasn't muggle and that he was just like her.

As she looked at him once again it suddenly hit her like a tons of bricks. "What a minute I seen you around, did you go to Hogwarts by a chance?"Arabella asked him softly. Arabella must of sworn she seen him around but she could of been mistaken. Alot of people mistake her as her twin sister Sophia for they look the same and act the same. But she must of sworn she seen him around the Gryffindor common room when she went to Hogwarts. Although she nevered talked to him but she would remember seeing his cut handsome face anywhere. "Whoa Ara you just met him, don't get ahead of yourself."Arabella thought to herself as she shook her head.

"Maybe, but I should have been paying more attention to what was going on around me too." he smiled at her, not wanting her to take all the blame. As she picked up her things off the ground, Jake watched her and thought that maybe he should help her pick them up, but before he could do anything she was already done. Wow that was fast... he thought. She introduced herself and Jake smiled and nodded. "I'm Jake, Jake Collins." he said, taking her hand and shaking it softly, before he withdrew his hand from hers and ran a hand through his hair.

"Oh yeah. I'm fine, don't worry about it." he told her. As she said she was a healer, he was half temped to act like he was a muggle and ask what a healer was, but he figured it would just freak her out and she would think she was in trouble since muggles aren't supposed to know about magic. But instead he just shook his head, and said, "No it's alright. You don't have to heal me." he said softly, and he sighed. He still had no idea where to go, but he didn't care, at least he found someone to talk to now, maybe.

Jake nodded at her question, and smiled. "Yeah, I did. I graduated this year... but I was supposed to graduate last year, oh well. Better late than never, I always say." he shrugged. He hated having to repeat his seventh year, but he did it and now he finally graduated. "You actually did graduate the year I was supposed to right?" he asked her, because he remembered seeing her around Hogwarts his first seventh year, but he didn't see her anymore during his second seventh year.

Arabella shook her head and chuckled. "Ok how about we both say it was our fault?"Arabella asked him still chuckling. As he introduce himself Arabella smiled. "Nice to meet you Jake,"said Arabella as she softly shook his hand back. "So where were you heading if you don't mind me asking were you waiting on your girlfriend?"Arabella asked him softly as her chocolate brown eyes sparkled at him. "I was heading down towards the coffee shop to get me some coffee if you like to join me."said Arabella softly. "My twin sister Sophia got me addicted to the Mocha, it's all her fault."said Arabella laughing.

As he said he was ok Arabella sighed in relief. "Oh thank goodness, I would feel horrible if I hurt you."said Arabella softly. "Good thing you weren't a muggle, having to explain what a healer was would be a bit difficult."said Arabella honestly. As she adjusted her shopping bags in her hand she brushed some hair out of her eyes. "I'm sorry if I don't have much to say, I'm not like my sister Sophia she could talk to anyone I'm a bit shyer then her."said Arabella. "A bit weird seeing how were twins but I guess Sophia always been the talkative one."said Arabella chuckling.

Arabella nodded. "Well... at lease you graduated and it's like you said better late then never."said Arabella softly as she gave him a soft warm smile. Arabella nodded. "Yeah I did, me and my twin sister both did actually we were both Gryffindors."said Arabella softly. "Were both healers for St.Mungo's it was something we always wanted to be."said Arabella shrugging.

Jake nodded and smiled. "Alright, it's easier than standing here arguing over whose fault it was." he laughed. "Same to you Arabella." he smiled. "Girlfriend?" he asked at first a little confused. "Oh no. I don't have a girlfriend." he added quickly, making it seem like he was just thinking for a small moment. He laughed at her comment of her twin sister addicting her to Mocha. "Well, that's something sister's will do." he smiled at her. "It'd be a pleasure to join you." he told her. "I'm quite a fan of the Mocha, but I don't get to drink it very often." he said softly.

"It's alright. If I was hurt it wouldn't be anything bad. I've gotten pretty banged up before." he told Arabella. He nodded and smiled. "I know, it would be pretty hard to explain something like that to a muggle." he laughed. "You could've covered it up with 'doctor' but they would've been confused as to why you used healer in the first place." he said softly. "It's alright if you don't talk much. I personally don't like people who go on and on and just talk." he reassured her. "But to be honest I'm the same. I don't really talk much." he added smiling at her.

Jake sighed. "Yeah, I guess so. But I would've liked to graduate when I was supposed too." he admitted. Jake nodded and chuckled softly. "I know you two did. I was at the graduation, but I was somewhere in the back, I wasn't supposed to be there, but I felt I had too." he explained. "I saw you two get on the stage, and I know you were both Gryffindors, since I was one as well." he smiled. "Well it's good that you got to be what you wanted to be." he said. "I'm a Beast Specialist at the Ministry. I've always wanted to work with magical creatures, and now I'm getting the chance." he sighed softly.

Arabella raised her eyebrows when he said he didn't have a girlfriend. She figured someone as cute as him would have a girlfriend. "Oh really? I thought someone as cute and handsome as you would have one."said Arabella giving him a soft warm smile. Arabella laughed her tinkling bell laugh at his comment. "Yeah, I guess it's a twin thing."said Arabella still alughing. Arabella sighed in relief when he said he was a fan on Mocha. "Oh thank goodness, at lease I know I'm the only one that liked Mocha I thought it was only because my sister gotten me addicted to it!"said Arabella chuckling.

Arabella nodded. "Well... if you were hurt aloow me I wouldn't allow it, I hate seeing others hurt especially because of me."said Arabella softly. Arabella laughed at his comment. "Yeah they would be very confuse indeed."said Arabella honestly. Arabella nodded in agreement. "I honestly think it's anooying I hate people who talk to much."said Arabella. "I sometimes have to stop my sister from talking for she can go on and on at times."said Arabella chuckling. "I can talk alot at times, but I have to be really comfortable around the person to do so."said Arabella.

Arabella nodded. "Yeah I see what you mean, I would of hated not graduating at the time I was suppose to."said Arabella softly. Arabella chuckled but then shook her head and smiled. "Well of course, you were suppose to graduate that yeat so you had every right to be there!"said Arabella. "It's odd that we were Gryffindors and we never knew each other."said Arabella softly. "I'm glad your also what you wanted to be, I love magical creatures, it was one of my favorite subjects at Hogwarts."said Arabella softly. "We better start moving or else were going to get run over."said Arabella chuckling.

Jake smiled when she said that she thought someone like him would have a girlfriend. "Well, I had a girlfriend, but we broke up because of certain reasons. And now with my job I don't have much time for anything." he explained, putting his hands in his pockets. He chuckled at her comment and shook his head. "No there are plenty of people who have an addiction to Mocha." he smiled at her. "It's quite a common addiction to me. I always see people drinking it." he laughed. He flipped his bangs out of his face quickly, before looking back at Arabella with his bright brown eyes.

He smiled again and nodded. "I'm the same. I don't like to see others hurt either." he said. "But, you don't have to worry about me. I'm fine." he added softly. He laughed softly and nodded. "Yeah, that actually almost happened to me. But luckily the kid was too young to really understand what I meant." he said, a little embarrassed. "Luckily I won't eve make that mistake again." he chuckled. "I know what you mean. I have to stop my younger sister too. She talks forever if no one stops her. And that gets her in trouble sometimes." Jake laughed, shaking his head. "Same with me." he smiled.

Jake sighed heavily. "I guess it was my fault anyways. I didn't pay attention in class and my work was always handed in late or it was never of good quality. I especially don't test well, and I never did anything to get better." he said. "Yeah, I had to be there, to support my friends and watch them go off into the real world. I envied them at times but I brought that envy upon myself." he chuckled. Jake nodded and his bangs fell back into his face. "I know,right? I guess it was because we were always in different places or something." he shrugged. He moved his bangs out of his face once more and sighed. "I think I should get a hair cut." he laughed. "Working with magical creatures is a dream come true, literally. A few days ago we got a dragon egg that's due to hatch any day now!" he said, his eyes filled with excitement. If anyone looked at him right now, they'd think he was like a little boy getting a Christmas present. "Yeah, guess we should." he laughed softly.
