What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. welll yeah.. i've been thinking.. my character Alana Moran likes modleing and all that stuff so she would jump for this as soon as possible.. then cecilia would do this if she got a chanve.. people in her family may not like it but it would be money.. they would need an agent but i guess they could be an NPC and then we could have fashion shows if people would go to them..

I suppose there are models within the Wizarding World, modelling for clothing stores and the like but I don't know if that can necessarily become a large part of the site here. I suppose it could go on as a job but I guess it would be something to do around NPCS and not thread about. What exactly do you want here though, Cec? You've been quite vague. A modelling agency? Well, that can be done with NPCS, it doesn't need to be a site-wide thing because it might not, and probably won't, get used enough. Unless of course you want something bigger?

no i didn't think it would be a site wide thing though i did think we cold have like one or 2 fashion shows that would be rather spread out.. like 1 every few years or so... that is if people would go to them.. so i guess i just want a job for some people who are intrested..

I'm not sure how the shops are working in Diagon Alley at the moment, but I would ask to be a model for Madam Malkin's - all clothes shops need models. That may be the best option at the moment - you would be able to RP with others more through that as opposed to an NPC agency, methinks.

About fashion shows...I don't know if other people would be interested. Lets see if others reply here!

i think the girls would get bord just modleing robes.. i mean they would do so every once in a while if they really needed the money at the time but they'd want to model some cuter clothes....

^If you've seen the list of stock in the shop, it's not just robes. They have a summer and winter range of clothes too.

to be honest i don't know what half the things on there are.. i mean men and wemons court shoes??? are those just like tinnis shoes? and could you please explain what trousers are??

Trousers in the UK = Pants in North America (+ probably various other countries as well).

I don't know about the details, I've just skimmed the ranges. And court shoes are a type of high heel - if in doubt, search google images xD. That's what I do!

All companies use models for advertisements. If you limit yourself to clothing you're cutting off a lot of possible options for yourself - while some jobs might not be strictly modeling, they're still essentially the same thing and offer a more varied approach.

Butterbeer, new brooms and other quidditch equipment, restaurants - hell, even places like Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade need people to be in commercials (or the wizarding equivalent) and are more likely to use models than regular people. That gives you options to interact with people outside Madam Malkans or something.

Just my 2 cents.
