Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

As you may or may not have read in the Daily Prophet, there has been a battle at Hogwarts. Sources from inside the school say that several students started dueling. Moments later a multitude of death eaters arrived on scene, and started attacking students. The Order of the Phoenix, and Ministry officials arrived within minutes of the Death Eaters, and ONLY attacked the Death Eaters.

The Order's main goal was student protection. Our firends at the Daily Prophet lead you to believe that the Order of the Phoenix started this battle, and were attacking students. This is not the case. It was the Death Eaters who started the attacks.

Gellert Grindlewald is said to have been present, the death eaters listening to his every command. He claimed to have been there to return the school to the ministry. This reporter believes he has darker motives. I urge you not to believe anything this man says. Read your history books people.

A source from inside the school reports that Headmaster Doyle used fiendfire, within arms reach of students. And that this was the cause of much of the damage to the school. This reporter wonders why someone who has pledged to defend the students and school would use such a spell so close to students and the castle itself.

Stay tuned to Venificus Novus for the true versions of all wizarding events. Do not believe the Daily Prophet, need I remind you all of the Dumbledore/Potter stories they ran.....and it turned out Dumbledore and Harry Potter were not lying. The Prophet runs what ever stories they wish, not caring to get the truth. Which is something this reporter will never do.
