What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Georgie rolled her eyes again. Damien sounded completely crazy right now. Guys who were just friends didn't demand things like this. It was almost as if.. he was.. jealous. But it was completely impossible. Georgie forbid herself for thinking something that could be so damaging again. She couldn't give herself false hope, even though it was so easy to. Luckily Damien provided a distraction very quickly.

"Here?" she asked, realizing her voice was quieter than normal, almost a whisper. The idea of dancing to no music, in this group of strangers seemed crazy and exiting.. But also very non-Damien. He just wasn't that fearless and flamboyant kid. He was a good counterbalance to Georgie. They were very different people but somehow they complemented each other so well. Like peanut butter and jelly. Only not a popular childrens food. But just as tasty.

Damien sighed when he caught Georgia rolling her eyes. He had always been quick to notice nuances on people, but it never really meant that he could manipulate them, yet. He had so much to learn. But suddenly, Damien wondered at his anger. He had never been so insistent before, and part of him knew he had to give a rest. Georgia had, at times, mentioned guys going after her. But mostly, he had ignored those as merely admiring his friend, not really imagining them having other designs on her. Still, that was then. Going on to Fifth Year, Damien realized how much more likely he was going to find Georgie snogging with a boy he probably knows, and even someone he had never seen before. Merlin forbid it was someone he had never seen before, because that might mean a stupid Gryffindor boy, or a lousy Hufflepuff. But Merlin forbid, too, if he knew the boy snogging Georgia. That would mean a Slytherin boy, and Damien suddenly felt sure he would set his wand on this imaginary future boy of Georgia's. Damien frowned. What had gotten into him? He cleared his throat, as if to clear those thoughts, and looked to Georgia, who seemed to be waiting for an answer that he had forgotten to what of.

"Urm. What's going on here anyway? Elijah's father getting married? Who to?" He was curious. His own mother had married a filthy muggle, and he felt as if part of him wanted that same curse to fall upon the Elijah's father, simply because Damien did not like the other boy. But such a possibility was unlikely. Pureblood families hardly give in to something as blasphemous as that. Damien sighed again, upset that his own family could not hold together as a proper Pureblood one. It could very well thwart his chances of position among the Deatheater, a group that he believed himself to be a future member of. He was still thinking of ways to manipulate his mother, to make sure she leaves that muggle. So far, the only solutions seem to be the ones that will throw him into Azkaban, so they were not solutions at all. He still wanted to live with some freedom.

"And, urm, how're your parents, Georgie?" Damien had briefly met his best friend's parents before, and he thought it polite to ask after their welfare, even if he was not close to them.

Georgie really didn't want to talk about her parents. They were relatively normal to lots of wizarding parents but still slightly embarrassing. Her father was his same paranoid self - intensified by his wife's new knowledge. Her mother was.. adjusting. While Georgie had been planning on sharing the fact she had been attending a school of magic the last seven years when she turned 17, the news had come out last summer before she returned to Hogwarts. Mum had said she was totally fine, but since that day something had been off. It wasn't something the family discussed, and Georgie certainly wasn't about to tell Damien. "They're fine, thank you. And yours?" it was only polite to return the kind gesture of asking after his parents. Despite their best friendship G didn't spend any time at the D'eath house during the summer.

Their conversation was starting to feel a bit formal and Georgie couldn't help but glance around the filling room for anyone interesting. Her eyes caught on Jack Dyllan and Chase Moor. Yes, that was interesting all right. Miss Anderson probably wasn't going to be too happy about her boyfriends ex-fiancée showing up. Mira was known for her icy glare and occasional explosions of fury. Hopefully the psycho wouldn't ruin the wedding. Bur if she did it would be good for Damien to see who she really was. "So any plans for the summer?" Georgie asked casually, half paying attention.

Cecilia looked around at everyone who was there then back at Nikolo. “I’m not really hungry,” she said to Nikolo, “are you?” she didn’t’ wait for his answer before standing up. “come on,” she whispered in his ear and took his hand she led the way out of the dinning hall and into the kitchen where she walked out the French doors pulling Nikolo behind her. Out here there where not as many people and Cecilia liked that fact.

They walked by the flowers the noise that was coming from the house was becoming fainter as the got further away from it. “It’s much better out here. Don’t you agree?” Cecilia asked looking up at the Dutch boy. She smiled slightly walking over to a bench that was shaded by a tree. For a moment she thought about sitting there with Nikolo for a while but didn’t and walked the other way instead. If they sat down it would be easier for someone to find them and make her go back inside.

There where way to many people inside for Cecilia’s liking. Sure she should be use to it by now but she just didn’t like being surrounded by people unless they where all guys and paying full attention to her.

In the garden, havoc was breaking loose. Somehow, Euan and Finn had managed to smuggle Fireworks onto the grounds and were casually popping a couple into the hedge mazes and the low bushes. Elijah could barely keep the smile off of his face as he watched his cousins fumble around with what looked like the extra-explosive Weasley ones. Knowing Euan and Finn as well as Elijah did though, they’d probably taken each one apart and tinkered until they had ten times the explosive capabilities. It would be a good light show but they were putting them a little too close to the marquee and that was more than a little unnerving for Elijah - and anyone else who had taken to watch the two pranksters who were, as their grandmother liked to snidely point out, still unemployed. Though, it wasn’t as if anyone in their right mind was going to employ those two anyway.

“What in Merlin’s name are they doing?” Elisabeth, Euan and Finn’s sister, came to stand beside Elijah and he smirked down at her before slinging his arm around her waist. “Are they trying to kill us?”

Elijah laughed and replied with a breezy tone, “Yeah.” Elisabeth slapped her hand to her forehead, prompting Elijah to laugh at her again. “Look, it’ll be fine. I think they just want to add a little bit of hilarity to this whole affair?”

Elisabeth made a face and shook her head. “There is dust in there that’ll make everyone’s clothes disappear isn’t there?”

With that, she sailed away, leaving Elijah feeling rather ill and wondering whether that was just the case. He shuddered and turned his back to the window. The sound of the hinges straining on the doors could be heard around the room and seemingly everyone lifted their heads to see Elijah’s father step over the threshold into the room. Viktor wasn’t alone - as ever. Behind him was his brother, Stephan and a few of the other elder members of the family. Everyone seemed to begin to organise themselves then and they began to take their seats. Elijah slowly sidled towards his and slid down into the chair. He bit his lip and looked around. Where on earth had Cecilia disappeared to? And where in Merlin’s name was Mira?

Mira Anderson wrote:Mira laughed at his comment. It sounded like something she, herself would say. That was why Mira kept Damien around she supposed - he made her laugh and she understood him. That was very important to Mira. Understanding people. The reasons behind their actions, how they would react to things. And Damien seemed a little like her. Unfortunately the only person Mira didn't understand was herself.

Mira saw Georgia Wheelbarrow from time to time around the common room - even going far enough to say a few words to her when approached. At first it had seemed like the girl had wanted to be friends but all she had wanted to talk about was Damien. Obviously the only one who didn't notice this desperate crush was the boy. Now Mira merely found Georgia an annoyingly pretty girl. Luckily she didn't seem to want to be friends. "I haven't seen her yet" Mira commented to Damien. As she said this her eyes swept the room looking for the blonde.

A blob of bright orange hair caught her eye. Scratch that. Two blobs. Chase and Jack had arrived at a Krum wedding. Seeing Chase now, calm and collected didn't have the same impact as when she was overly emotional. There was still a feeling of trust at the sight of her face (or lack of anger) but no odd desire to share her deepest secrets. Thank god.

"Excuse me a moment" she said barely paying attention to the boy, her focus entirely on the redhead. Without even thinking of who else was in the room (a whole lot of Krums and mainly Elijah) she started to make her way towards the duo. Chases scars looked terrible and Mira shuddered inwardly, her mind flashing to Alices body yet again. Mira made a mental note to fix the appearance of her at the next opportunity. Chances were she wouldn't be able to get rid of the scars created by magic but she could make them nearly invisible with her wide range of beauty and make up skills.

About ten or so feet away Mira caught Chases eye, and widened her own. It was pretty clear the message she was sending: What in bloody hell are you doing here?. But at least she wasn't scowling, showing she wasn't angry. Even here, seeing the girl was a good thing.

Chase looked around the room carefully, keeping her eyes on Jack as she cleared a way into the wedding. Why was she here? Why had she even considered coming? It felt wrong.. totally wrong.. but she did have friends who were involved with the wedding, and she had been invited, and here she was... clutching her invite, and looking at Jack carefully, knowing she had come to this thing for her, and it was really a surprise really... it was nice of Jack to be so kind... and to look out for her, without Jack, Chase wouldn't be here, looking like she had gone through a blender.

Suddenly she realized someone was staring at her, and she looked around, seeing Mira and waving at her. But then realized what she was thinking. Why didn't know why she was here.. well... either did she, so that helped that question out. She shrugged and made her way to the girl, glancing at Jack, and smiling weakly, before looking back at Mira. "A lovely wedding going on here.." she said, giving a tight lipped smile. "I erm.. I hope I'm not intruding or anything.. I got an invite.. in the mail.. and I thought... well, I should swing by." She smiled weakly at her, and glanced at Jack. "It said bring a friend.. this is Jack Dyllan, she's my friend." She said lamely, feeling completely and totally awkward, but she couldn't help but look around, half hoping to see Elijah here. Her eyes drifted over the crowd, glancing at the ruckus that appeared to be going on with firecrackers, and then at the guests starting to take their seats. "Well.. we should go sit down... I erm... it was nice to see you again Mira." She said lightly and then looked away quickly, urging Jack onwards, and sitting down near the back, looking nervous, and jumpy at the same time.

Jack steered the way until she could think of nowhere else to go. She could feel Chase's presence right behind her, but suddenly it was fainter and shen she slowed and turned around, she saw Chase had begun to head another way. Jack quickly did an about hace and walked after Chase, to see she was headed for a Slytherin girl she recognized from Hogwarts.

Jack looked the girl up and down, trying to figure out who she was and if she belonged to the group of people who Jack had to watch out for and protect Chase from, as that was the real reason for her presence today, as Jack would rather not attend any weddings at all. Jack did not think much of them. And she did not know what to think of the Krums.

She was being introduced and so she looked at the girl, blinkingm before saying in a flat tone, "I'm her friend. My name is Jack." She was sure this girl was absolutely stunned by Chase and Jack's eloquent conversational skills... The meeting was brief though and Jack led the way to a seat in the back, sitting next to Chase.
