Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Mariposa walked through Hogsmeade with Jeimy and a smile on her face. She was so happy to be out of her house right now, instead of watching her parents fight yet again. She didn't know how their marriage had lasted so long, because they almost always fight over something. Mariposa had taken Jeimy with her, because even she didn't want her to learn to fight the way her parents did. Jeimy had wanted to stay in the house with her new parents(she had asked her parents to adopt Jeimy), but Mariposa told her it wasn't the best idea at the moment. Reluctantly, Jeimy had gone with Mariposa.

"Where do you want to go now Jeimy?" Mariposa asked her. Jeimy shrugged and looked at the Shrieking Shack. "How about there?" she said, pointing to the shack. Mariposa turned to see where Jeimy was pointing. "The Shrieking Shack?" she asked. Jeimy nodded and Mariposa bit her lower lip. She had always wanted to go there but with Jeimy there with her, she wasn't sure if it was a good idea to go there. "Are you sure?" she asked her. Jeimy nodded again and she began to move forward towards the shack.

Still unsure if it was a good idea to go in the Shrieking Shack, Mariposa followed Jeimy to the shack. Mariposa felt a surge of excitement enter her as they walked closer and closer to the shack. One of the any thing she had always wanted to do she was actually about to do. She bit her lip again to keep a smile from forming on her mouth. She could tell Jeimy was scared of what could be in the Shrieking Shack, since she had grabbed onto Mariposa's hand and she was gripping it tightly. They entered the shack, Mariposa first, and Jeimy jumped a little when they heard a slamming sound.

A good day turns bad Empty Re: A good day turns bad

Piper was hiding from her family. Renny had brought her cousins along, Joel and Tyler. The fourteen year old brats were getting on her nerves. Barney had also come along because as it turned out, he was a wizard. Renny had decided to show him Hogsmeade- and they had been stuck with the twins- and Piper had somehow got dragged along.

She had escaped first thing though and she was currently sitting on the top floor of the Shrieking Shack, smoking a cigarette. Here, she heard nothing but wind and the creaking of the creepy, old house as it moved in the wind. A tree occasionally scraped its branched against the one window that seemed to have not been broken, sending chills down her spine. She exhaled some smoke. Finally...

She heard a long creak of an opening door and she stood walking to the door of her room. She heard footsteps and she pushed the door behind her. It slammed shut and she heard silence. She walked down the creaky stairs and saw two girls. Piper glared at them. "What the hell are you doing here?"

Something about the Shriecking Shack made Mariposa uncomfortable now. She had been so anxious to go inside it, but now she wanted to get out. She felt a chill run down her spine and it wasn't pleasant. Jeimy was shaking just from being inside there. "Are you okay, Jeimy?" she asked the little girl. Jeimy barely nodded from her shaking so much. They heard the stairs creaking and jeimy let out a small whimper. She thought something bad was coming, typical child's imagination. "Nothing bad's coming, alright?" she told her and looked at the stairs.

It was just a girl who was walking down the stairs, nothing more. Mariposa looked down at Jeimy, and she was still shaking. She must have still just been scared of the shack not of the girl. Although the girl's tone sounded like they had disturbed her. Jeimy stepped in front of Mariposa shaking, but Mariposa put her arm in front of her and pushed Jeimy back. "What do you think? Why would anyone want to come here?" she said seriously. Mariposa returned the girl's glare.

Jeimy grabbed onto her shirt and held it tightly. "Maybe we should just go, Mariposa." she told her, pulling on her shirt. But Mariposa wouldn't bugde. She just stared at the girl and that made Jeimy worry a little. Mariposa was a calm girl, but when she felt threatened she wasn't afraid to fight. Jeimy learned that when a boy had tried to hurt her and Mariposa stepped in.

Piper's eyes narrowed on this snooty girl. She had seen her around th Gryffindor table, which explained why the brat was going to act all heroic and stand up for herself and all that other bull. Gryffindors just liked a reason to talk about themselves and inflate their own egos. They were not nearly as bad ass as they all thought they were. Typical Gryffindor here.

"Usually to look for trouble," she quipped back. Ah, the biting tongue of the Skytherins. How infamous and how sweet. "Especially you Gryffinodrs. Looking for a story, huh? To say you've been to the almighty Shrieking Shack. Go back to second year, okay, no one even cares." She rolled her eyes and lifted the cigarette back to her mouth, taking another drag.

There was a little girl with the older one, begging her to leave. Piper couldn't use magic yet, so she knew how this would end. Piper would antagonize, the Gryffindor would get all pissy and want a fight she couldn't have, then next year, the halls would be full of glares and snide comments. Honestly, Piper just wanted to skip ahead to the whole one of them storming out part, so she could finish her smoke in peace.
