And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Meeting one of the same kind Empty Meeting one of the same kind

Alexis paced around the Great lake, feeling like something had happened there that she had forgotten, but that she shouldn't have. She still couldn't remember much of what had happened to her a year ago. She couldn't even vaguely remember her own family(brothers and sisters), who were now her enemies, who were saying that she was no longer one of them. She didn't understand what they meant by that, she didn't even really know who they were. Any friends she had, now wouldn't go near her because she sent them away, again not knowing who they were.

She was all alone now and even her creator was gone. He had graduated the year he turned her into a werewolf. She didn't really know she was a wolf, but something told her she wasn't like she was before, and she would soon understand that she was no longer the same. She would also understand why her brothers and sisters said that she was no longer one of them, why they now hated her.

She sighed and finally sat down in front of the lake. She took a deep breath and took in all the scents she couldn't sense before. That was one good thing she found by having senses that were so tuned. But that was also a bad thing when she smelled something she didn't like.

Mis wandered around the schoolgrounds, having nothing much to do.
Everyone was so nervous lately. Mostly because of the fear and the 'message' that was sent to the school, using Sage's body as the message itself.
She wasn't in the group of the students who were praying and crying everyday, hoping that their lives would turn back into normal. Miseria, however, didn't do any of that. She didn't pray nor did she hope that the Death Eaters won't kill her. The war was coming, and soon it'll break trough the school's doors, and later the war will spread all around the world. Like a disease.

Being a werewolf gave her some good advantages. She could smell, hear and see some things better than the humans did. And right now, she could sence the presence of her kind. The school wasn't full of werewolves, but they weren't rare here.
Soon she noticed a young girl, probably a new one, sitting infront of the lake, looking quite lost for Miseria. “Hm,“ she did quietly and walked slowly over there, standing right behind her. “Good day,“ she said in a quiet voice. Though the girl probably senced her presence, she wanted to be sure that she didn't scare her.

As Alexis stared into the lake, she felt the presence of a werewolf. She felt the wolf coming closer toward her nad she turned around a little to see who it was. She didn't recognize the girl, but she knew they were in the same year, since she didn't seem like a little girl. A small smile broke onto her face. "Hello." she replied to the girl, looking up at her, shading her eyes with her hand from the sun. It was so bright like everything was okay within the school. Though that wasn't the case. With everything that was going on, even though she hadn't been outside while all the comotion was going on, she heard whispers from everyone in the school about what went on. She felt bad about everything and for everyone, who wished their lives would go back to normal, even though they knew that nothing would go back to normal anytime soon.

She looked back down at the lake, still feeling sorry for all those students who were still crying and mourning the death of the girl that was used to get the Death Eater's stupid message across. It all mad her so mad, too. Why must they use students for theeir message, why was this war there? It was all so stupid to Lexi. She never understood what good would come of it, if any good was to come out of it.

If everything would turn back to normal, it would be way too boring. Miseria was too used to action in her life. And being Lupin only gave a little push to those who hated her family. Of course death was a horrible thing, but to those who suffer a lot it may be the first thing that they really want.

She looked at the werewolf, trying to find common lines. She was young. Probably the same year as Mis was. And the way she looked around only proved that she hasn't been a werewolf for a very long time. “Newbie?“ she asked in a friendly voice. Though she already presumed the answer to be Yes, she wanted to be sure.
As a Hufflepuff student, it was already in her blood to make a lot of friends and be helpful and loyal. She sat down next to her.

Alexis looked at the girl as she sat down next to her, and smiled. "Yeah." she replied in a faint voice. For some reason she knew exactly what she was talking about, even though she didn't really understand still that she was a werewolf. Something just told her to respond yes. She sighed again as a question popped into her head. She was talking to this girl, who seemed to have a lot in common with Alexis, but she didn' t know her name. Alexis hadn't even introduced herself to the girl, which sort of amazed her, though she knew it shouldn't anymore. For a year she had spoken to students without even bothering to introduce herself to them, and that was never something she did. Maybe it was just because she hadn't gotten used to being a werewolf yet, who knows? Definatly not Alexis, not now.

"By the way, what's you name?" she asked the girl, smiling kindly. "My name is Alexis D'eath. But you can call me Lex.. or Lexi, whatever suits you better." she added, rather quickly.

She knew that!
It was always like that when werewolves were near her. They could sence their answers before someone could reply to them. She only smiled. Most of the people considered being a werewolf a curse, but non of them thought about the good sides of it.
Yes, sure they go wild and lose their mind when there's full moon, but usually they are like normal people, though they have some higher sences than humans do. And they can feel the presence of their own kind and make differences between vampires and humans. To her, it wasn't curse at all. She even had the wolfsbane potion so she was able control herself when the transformation would begin.

“Oh, right, so rude of me,“ she smiled at the girl. “And I'm Miseria... Manson-Lupin.“ The name was familiar however. Maybe she heard it somewhere. In school probably. Maybe she passed the girl somewhere in the corridors and never noticed her? “Lex is good. And you can call me Mis.“

Alexis smiled and nodded at the girl. "Alright Mis." she said. She had heard the name before, but she didn't remember where. It must have been from class or she might have heard it when she passed in the corridors. She shrugged slightly and sighed again. She was getting bored- it was never really her thing to be in one place for a long period of time. She was always getting intrigued by something else as soon she had settled down somewhere. And it had gotten worse since she became a werewolf. Before she was able to stay with one thing even after she became bored of it. But now she couldn't even do that.

Whatever she was doing or whoever she was with(which was usually no one now) she just left them there and went off to explore, without any explaination. Then she never made up for it and she didn't even talk to theose people anymore, and she always felt bad, but there was nothing she could do about it. She looked out at the lake and brought her legs up to her chest. She put her head on her knees and pouted a little not able to even remember the names of those people she hung out with for a few minutes before finding something else to entertain herself with.

Mis couldn't hide the grin that appeared on her lips. Mis and Lex sounded a lot like dogs name. And the truth was – both of them were dogs. Sort of.
When Lex didn't say anything anymore, Miseria remained quiet as well, waiting for her to ask or say something. The silence was odd to her. She was used to people who were talking all of the time and with her, people usually talked about everything what's on their mind.

She coughed and looked down, awkwardly. “So...“ she bit her lip, looking at the grass and hoping that it'd give her some ideas to talk about. Usually it was easy to get along with the werewolves. “Where are you from?“ she asked the first thing that came up in her mind. Mis herself was from the famous vampire country. Transilvanya.

Alexis sniffed the air- it was still. A little to still for her liking. She thought it was a little strange, but only because she had forgotten what had happened before. But she quickly remembered and laughed softly at herself. How could she have forgotten something like that? Everyone was still crying over it. She was deep in her thoughts when she heard Mis speak again. She had forgotten that she was there. She looked over at Mis and then thought hard for a moment. Where was she from?

"Good question." she blinked and she frowned unable to remember. "Unfortunately I don't have an answer. I don't remember where I'm from at all." she added softly. She couldn't remember anything and it was really getting on hher nerves. All she could remember was her name and her creator. Tthat was it. Just about everything else was a blank to her. She let out a heavy sigh and put her hand on her head, feeling like half of her was missing.
