Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Apparently (this was just a rumour going around) you had to actually complete the assignments the Professors set. Now, Athena wasn’t one for actually attending classes but she figured since she was getting the eight foot essays, she may as well do them. She’d soon Owl her father when she decided she was being overworked. Then he’d Owl the school and complain; hopefully. He would indulge his only daughter for, he loved her. And besides, Athena should have had to do the same work those filthy little Mudbloods did. Even the thought of it made her cringe and sneer with disgust. They were everywhere; it was impossible to get away from them. Perhaps they’d all just drop dead from some kind of Muggle disease. Athena knew she was hoping and praying for that day. Then maybe, all of those magic-stealing cretins would actually get the message: they weren’t wanted.

Until that day, however, Athena was going to start work. She’d been in the library since breakfast. It was now coming up to lunch time and she’d been buried in her book about the Dark Arts for the span of that time. She’d had no one to harass or be cruel towards today. The day had not ended just yet, though. She still had time to ruin someone’s twenty-four hours and Athena wasn’t about to pass up on a chance to see someone crying. But, just like the Mudblood eradication, she’d have to wait until someone gave her cause to be a cow. She was perfectly content where she was, nose buried n a book that was going over everything she’d learnt from her father and step-mother; as well as touching on some things that she’d have to learn over the summer holidays.

Biting her lip, Athena scribbled down some notes, making sure to encrypt them in Runes. That class wasn’t running anymore – at all – so she wouldn’t have to worry about anyone being able to translate them. She rose from her seat then, pushing her books and stray pieces of parchment into her bag before picking up her notebook and heading for the exit. She’d need to owl Apolline. They needed to have a long discussion – perhaps over a drink in Diagon Alley. Then perhaps Borgin and Burke would let them in to have a little target practice. Athena was sure Borgin wouldn’t mind. The elderly man loved her just as much as his counterpart and Athena lapped up the attention they bestowed on her. With everything firm in her mind, Athena knew that nothing and no one could disrupt her now; and if they did...well, there wouldn’t be much left when she was done with them.

The corridors were quiet as Jake walked through them to the library. He had just come out class. Boy, what a disaster that had been. He had woken up late and arrived late to class. Maybe it would have bern easier to just go up to the professor, but he had tried to sneak past him, worst idea ever.

As he walked into the library, he noticed hardly anyone was there. It was almost as deserted as the corridors. Where was everyone? Maybe they were all in the common rooms, who knows.

He shrugged and walked through the isles, looking for a book to read. Like everyone else he had plenty of work to do. But he didn't really feel like doing it at that particular moment. But he would have to do it eventually.

He found a book that would help him with the work, so he took it out. He walked toward one of the tables, sat down and opened the book. It didn't take him long to become bored and put the book down.

He looked around and saw one other person there. A Slytherin by the looks of it, he frowned and looked back at the book.

Athena paused in the archway that acted as a door-less entry way into the library. She took her book belt from her bag and secured the black leather around the pile. She secured the brass buckle and looked up as a Gryffindor wandered past, into the library. He was tall, not at all muscular, and certainly not the most attractive out of the whole bunch. He looked bothered somewhat but by what, Athena didn’t care to worry herself about. She’d planned her day mentally to a ‘T’. Did she really want to put those plans on hold just to harass said Gryffindor?

Hell yes!

Smirking, Athena turned around; she hugged her books to her chest and sauntered over to where the Gryffindor was seated. She slid into the chair opposite him and her smirk deepened as she put her books down. She leaned forward and placed her finger on her nose before asking, “Is your nose real? If it's not then you should really sue whoever did it. Shoddy work."

Jake looked up from his book again, and glared at the Slytherin who was now in front of him. She seemed somewhat attractive, not that Jake cared about it. The way she said her question already annoyed him, but then again anything would annoy him easily at the moment. He put the book back down once again, this time slamming it shut.

"And you should really leave me alone." he said in a nasty voice, not bothering to answer her question. Why would he? It was obviously just a stupid question to see if he would get angry. Even if it wasn't he wasn't about to let some Slytherin girl ruin his day even more than it already was. Well whatever is left of this damned day. It was bad enough as bad enough that Professor Wilson had embarrassed him in front of the whole class, now he had this girl here.
