Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

AWOL No More Empty AWOL No More

Post by Andrew Thompson Sat Jan 15, 2011 10:13 pm

Andrew fought the bitter cold of winter furiously as he proceded to the Quidditch field, a very sacred place to Andrew apprently. That was where he had first met Jack and won a game for Gryffindors name. It was very nice at points. Now he was back after 6 months and was ready to see the field again. Maybe talk to some old friends or something. But he just couldn't sit around and do nothing. Looking around, a thin white sheet of snow trampled the field, the green missing from the ground. Would it be stupid to fly around at a time like this? Probably.

But he would do it anyway.

Andrew walked back to his old locker inside the building and opened it up. Luckily his trusty old Firebolt was still there, collecting dust in it's graceful age. He grabbed it by the handle and hurried back to the field, ready for some flying practice. Before he could even touch the snow outside, he was already flying in the air, the cold cutting his face. Yet he didn't care, he was flying once more and he didn't care.

Louis Weasley. He walked to his locker. He wanted to practice flying. He got on his firebolt. He was walking toward the staidium the way the players fly to the field. He wore his Gryffindor uniform and then heared someone flying. He didnt know who flew at this time but him. As he flew out he thought his eyes were lying to him. The person he saw was last year. He hadnt seen him since. Who was the boy? You ask. Well that boy was one of Louis' first friends. Other than Jack. It was the one. The only. Andrew Thompson. Louis flew up. He put his wand to his throught. "Sonorus." He whispered. Then his voice was like a microphone. "Andrew!" Louis said and took his wand off his thoart. And flew up next to Andrew. "Long time no see eh Thomspon?"

Andrew had been casually flying around peacefully, unaware that anyone had been out on the field. Yet when someone had managed to startle Andrew by using the Sonorus spell. Due to the slight panic, Andrew jumped a bit yet almost fell off his broom. Feeling a little irritated, Andrew turned to check on who was the one person doing the act. Turns out, it was Louis, an old friend that he had met a while back during the beginning of his sixth year. Andrew smiled and began to laugh slightly, thinking that he had been in trouble for a second.

Andrew flew down towards Louis and said in a joking smile "Hey man. Don't use the freaking Sonorus next time, otherwise you'll have to scrape me off the ground next time. Turning, Andrew looked back at the main gate, thinking that he may have interuppted Quidditch practice at first. Yet he was surprised to see that no one was out there. Looking back at Louis, Andrew asked "What are you doing out here? Practice isn't going on now is it?"
