Barn OwlThe Barn Owl is a mostly nocturnal bird with a white, heart shaped face and dark eyes. Their under parts are feathered and white and their top parts are a golden/grey color with black markings.
When they are seen hunting in daylight, they appear low over the ground with a moth-like flight.
Barn owls eat insects, birds, frogs, and small rodents.
Eagle OwlThese birds are brown/black and tawny/buff. They have Ear tufts unlike the other owls that we have at the Emporium. Their whole under parts are filled with barring of darker feathers.
These birds will prey in flight or on the ground. They tend to eat frogs, lizards, birds, small mammals. They are also known to eat deer fawns.
Little OwlThe Little Owl is a very small owl, only about 8-9 inches in length. They are active during the day.
The upperparts are brown and speckled with white, the under parts are whitish with brown streaks. The eyes are yellow, with thick, whitish eyebrows.
They feed on insects, small mammals and birds.
This is probably what Ron's pet, Pigwidgeon was.
Snowy OwlThis is a large owl of about 20-27 inches. It is mostly white with some dark barrings across it's body. It has large, yellow eyes and black claws and beak.
This bird eats small mammals, fish, small marine animals and birds.
This is the breed of bird Hedwig is.
Tawny OwlThe Tawny Owl has dappled red-brown to grey brown plumage. This is perfect camouflage when they are sitting in the trees.
This is Britain's most common woodland owl.
They eat frogs, birds, and small mammals
