Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Midnight Snacking Empty Midnight Snacking

Post by Kiera Ashling McKinley Tue Nov 09, 2010 3:52 am

Ash found herself wondering down to the kitchens for yet another snack attack. She was growing quite used to them over the past week. The potion she had been given was helping out with the morning sickness and she was glad because she was able to actually eat food other than crackers. She walked in and immediately asked one of the house elves for a giant glass of chocolate milk and they brought it back with a plate of sliced apples and some melted chocolate that they had grown accustomed to seeing her eat.

Sammy wanted to drink her blood in piece and be left alone for once. But as she walked into the kitchen she saw the one person that she didn't want to see. The one person that she knew was afraid of her, and it wasn't even her fault this time. It was something that she couldn't even help, if she could it wouldn't be called a problem. Sammy wasn't going to let this girl keep her from sitting in the kitchen and drinking her blood. As Sammy walked into the kitchen she saw one of the house elfs run away into the back. That was how Sammy liked it, little creatures running away from her. Sammy sat down in a chair so that the girl wouldn't see her. Maybe if the girl couldn't see her then she could sit in piece and drink her blood. Sammy pulled out a vial of blood once sitting down in the chair.

Ash turned as the house elf returned with the milk and saw Sammy. She hadn't spoken to her but she knew Varod had been right. That wasn't the Sammy they knew. Still, she wasn't going to just completely trust her again. Not now, not after what had happened. She thought about it. She had been pregnant at the time. What would have happened if she had been killed. She would have never found out their good news. Good news that she was now sharing alone at school for the next few months.

She took a bite of one of the apple slices before speaking, "Sam?" she asked looking at her curiously.

'Da**!!' Sammy thought as she heard Ash say her name. Sammy would have to do her best to act nice and kind. If Varod ever found out that she was mean to Ash he would hate her forever, and Varod and Anti where the only friends that she had left. Sammy put on her best fake smile and turned around slowly. "Ash is that you?" Sammy asked feeling stupid. Of course Sammy already knew that it was her. But if Ash was asking if it was Sammy then she didn't know if it was Sammy, right? Either way this was going to take alot of patience. "Hey long time no see, kind of. I really am sorry about what happened the last time we meet. I really hope that you understand that I couldn't help what happened last time. If I had a choice at it I would never have done that." Sammy said standing up but not going closer to her. Maybe it would work. Maybe the girl wouldn't go runing away in tears. For once.

Ash had never been one to be afraid of vampires, until Sam had attacked her. After a bit of talking with Varod she had finally calmed down enough to understand what had happened. At least somewhat anyway, so that she knew that really wasn't Sammy but some dark twisted part of her mind, "Its alright." she said laughing a little nervously. She really didn't know what to say to her. She took another apple slice and put it in her mouth. "Varod got me to understand everything." she added looking at the girl warily still. It wasn't that she didn't...wait it was because she didn't exactly trust her quite yet. Especially being newly found out pregnant, she didn't want to take any risks. "You are still Sammy right?"

Sammy smiled with a fake bright smile that even an actor would find real. She walked slowly over to the girls table, hearing this faint bumping sound, getting louder and louder as she got closer and closer. It was starting to get annoying. "Do you mind if I sit down?" Sammy said holding her blood in one and and crossing her fingers behind her back with the other. Maybe she would be able to get some real, live, warm fresh blood, for once. Sammy didn't wait for the girl to answer her to sit down. Once sitting at the table Sammy could hear that bumping sound louder now. "What is that sound. It sounds like a tiny heart." Sammy said thinking about that for a second. Then it made since to her, Ash was pregnant. Of course, sammy had to hear that sound for nine month when she was pregnant. "Oh my god your pregnant!" Sammy said outloud, not caring who heard.

Ash looked at her taking another sip of her chocolate milk. They had made it really chocolaty for her this time, which was good. She seemed to be craving lots of chocolate these days. She was sure if this kept up the baby would make her a chocoholic. "Sure." she said scooting over so she could have a seat next to her.

She bit into another slice of chocolate covered apple, "I don't hear anything." she said offering a slice of one to the girl, "Want one." Her eyes got wide at Sammy's exclamation. She couldn't deny that, but she was glad to know that her baby was alright, "Yeah I just found out not too long ago." she added looking at her. "How could you...nevermind I already know."

((OOC: She's not far enough along for the heart to be beating yet...she's only 5 weeks lol but you can know from increased blood flow maybe?))

Sammy smiled with unhappyness, she was pregnant. Than ment that Varod had a child. Would it be a half vampire? Would it be normal? Either way it still wasn't as odd as Sammy's kids. She was a vampire when she had them, so they shouldn't even be around. So Sammy took the peice of apple from Ash, then bit it in half. Sammy then drunk some of her blood and put the top back on. "Thanks, I was kind of starting to get hungry." Sammy said putting her flask of blood back into her pocket and leaning back in her chair. 'How would ash react if I told her that I'm going to be getting back with Ne'Os?' Sammy thought to herself. Then again if Ash found out, then she would run her mouth off to Varod. Then Varod would come and talk to Sammy like he was her father or something. So telling her was out of the question.

She took another sip of her chocolate milk, closing her eyes as she drank it down. Something about chocolate lately really made her feel better. And she wasn't even a sweets kind of person. "Well then its a good thing you're down here in the kitchens then." she replied with a smile as she popped another apple slice in her mouth. "I've been down here almost every night this week actually." she added looking at Sam curiously. "Is that normal?"

With Ash asking these questions about being pregnant and all it was bringing back memories of when she was pregnant. "Well...I would have to say yes that it is normal for someone who is pregnant to have cravings and quinch them here. But when I was pregnant it was different. It was after I had been turned, so I wasn't suppose to be pregnant to begin with. I was scared and my cravings weren't of food, they were of blood. Alot like the cravings I have been having lately. Not of the unwarm, unalive kind of blood that the ministry gives us to drink, but of the warm, running through your vains kind of blood." Sammy said to Ash, thinking about that thirst as she spoke. With Sammy the way she was it was probably not a good idea to talk about drinking blood with a human around. Not that Sammy cared if this girl lived or died anymore, but having Varod and Anti as friends was the only thing keeping her connected to her normal life.
