Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Ok so I'm really not sure of how this is supposed to go. I'm not used to keeping journals other than ones that contain songs and poems and such so this is going to be a new thing for me. But I also figure its a good way to keep track of the pregnancy..although I'm not very far along so I'm trying not to get too excited right now, but its so difficult. I mean I never thought I'd be having a baby with Varod...well I had hoped but not this soon, much less that he was going to propose to me on the day I found out myself.

I still haven't had the guts to right my brother yet and tell him, though I suppose once I get out of the first trimester I should...Good thing that won't be until around Christmas time. How can you get mad at your baby sister at Christmas right? Especially when I've been really good at school...in fact the only time I've skipped this year was to go to the doctor to find out that I was in fact pregnant. The nausea really gets old but and so far the cravings are rather odd. I'm finding myself craving things that I in fact hated before I became pregnant.

Although I'm glad to say I've met someone at the school who's also in the same condition that I'm in. Its nice to have a friend who's experiencing the same things I'm going through, granted she's farther along than I am but not by much. She's actually letting me borrow a book about expecting and I've found myself reading a lot of it lately. I'm approximately four to five weeks and I've learned that the baby is 1.25 mm long, and its only actually 3 weeks old. I find its interesting that I'm five weeks along and my baby is only three weeks along. All of this is very fascinating.

Well I'm going to go and will write more later especially about how the baby is developing and everything thats going on with the baby.

Week 5

Ok so I'm now onto the fifth week of pregnancy and things are actually going along well. Except for the owl I got the other day from Varod. I'm pretty much on my own with the pregnancy for the next month or so. I don't know how I'm going to handle this but I have come up with some ideas on how to tell my brother. I think though I'm going to wait til I come home for the holidays before I tell him. I think thats whats going to be best for all. I know that with it being Christmas, he can't be angry. At least he can't show it if he is. I think thats going to be the best for all of us in the end. After he gets over the shock then he'll meet Varod and hopefully he'll like him, though honestly I don't think its really going to matter what he thinks of him because either way I'm going to marry him.

I actually met Aurora the other day as well. Something is definately not right with that girl but who am I to judge...I'm a seventh year pregnant girl. Obviously I need to be thinking things through but honestly I wasn't even thinking it possible I could have gotten pregnant with Varod being a vampire. But I am finding out that I'm having really strong cravings for anything chocolate. Even if chocolate doesn't belong on it. I've been told that stuff like that is normal. But all I wanna do is eat and I know that isn't a good thing.

Week 10

Ok so I've been bad about keeping track of this thing, but things have just been really crazy. For one, I'm married now. And still in school. I'm honestly not sure of how thats going to work out. I don't really know anyone else in school who's married, don't they normally drop out at that point anyway? Oh well. I'm so close to finishing that it would be rather pointless to drop out now right? But anyways, the baby is very healthy and I'm glad about that.

I've read that the baby is the size of a kumquat...whats a kumquat anyway? Isn't there something that I could read that would give a description of size to something I know?! I really want to know what exactly a kumquat is. I mean I know its food but what kind of food is it anyway? Well I think I'm going to need new clothes soon anyway cause mine are starting to get tight on me. Good thing I have plenty of shirts that can hide my stomach from everyone. I really don't think I could handle random people walking up to me to rub my stomach. Probably not a good idea to get clothes while we are in Japan though. I don't think Varod could handle going shopping with me. He doesn't seem like that type of person. Much less I'm actually dreading going to go get clothes but I'm trying to stay active and he won't let me do anything really. But for now I guess I'm going to go and maybe get some chocolate milk....mmm....that sounds amazing right now. Do you think I could get a room full of chocolate milk just for me? Better not ask cause I don't think that I could.
