Durmstrang and Beauxbatons students arrive

The nervousness in Tifanie's stomach had grown as they drew nearer to Hogwarts, and when the carriage landed, she'd almost felt the need to throw up. Fortunately, Tifanie had a strong constitution and steady breathing for a few moments had settled everything back down again. She still had butterflies in her stomach, though.

It had been years since she'd seen Caelani - the last time had been in the holidays before Tifanie's second year at Beauxbatons - and though the girls wrote to one-another often, Tifanie still felt apprehensive about being reunited with her sister.

As she walked down the carriage steps, a quick scan of the gathering crowd showed no signs that Caelani was present and Tifanie began to relax. At least she could save that potentially embarrassing moment for later in the day when they were all "getting settled" as Madame Benoit put it.

It was at that moment that Peter noticed the Durmstrang ship. His exclaimations had Tifanie jumping round to look at it as well.

"You should ask for a tour. I'm sure they won't mind. It would be in the spirit of international friendliness and cooperation, after all," she suggested as she trailed behind him and Selene.

Prison Watched as the others talked in french. Why couldnt someone talk to him in french? He would understand it. quietly he said to himself, "Je voudrais que quelqu'un me comprendre" (i wish someone would understand me.) His life sucked. He couldnt get one girl to like him, He was treated like a poor kid instead of like a normal person. There should be something that he could do to to make people like him.

All ten students and the headmaster were inside the cabin as they drew nearer to Hogwarts. The ship was underwater, so they wouldn't notice it. The headmaster knew that there really was no point of that, but all three schools had a great rivalry which spanned centuries. Suddenly, the ship began to go back up the surface, and Antanas could only imagine the astounded look on the Hogwart's students faces as a massive ship suddenly appeared out of nowhere in their lake.

Soon afterwards, once the ship had docked, the students and Antanas left to the deck, from where they descended to the ground. A large amount of students had assembled near the grounds to watch them. "Remember, if any of you embarrass the school in anyway, I will personally make sure you are expelled. understood?" he said very sternly, knowing he was already expecting too much from them. A moment later one of the students hurriedly rushed to embrace his friends, whereas others were gaping at the castle as if they had never seen one in their life. Antanas had to admit it was quite an impressive castle.

Next, he saw the Beauxbaton students. He noticed some of them were gaping at their ship, but he also noticed they looked more disciplined than some his students. "Follow me, students," he told them all. "Don't break the line." Antanas marched formally towards where the group of Hogwarts students and teachers were assembled then stopped a couple meters away from them, waiting for the headmaster to come forward.

Prison looked at the headmaster and said in French hoping he wouldnt understand, "Ce que jamais il n'a pas d'importance pour moi que personne ne garde que je fais. Im aux pauvres pour les personnes aux soins" (What ever It doesn't matter to me no one would care what I do. Im to poor for people to care) Who cared if he embarressed himself. He didnt get why he even got to come if the head master didnt want to be embarrassed. Just having a poor kid around was embarrassing wasnt it?

Lana kept herself back for one sec. She needed to change of her drab uniform. She was no huge fan of fashion, but she was at least literate in the ways of annoying clothing. She combed her hair, and considered actually opening her luggage and throwing something on. But then, she wouldn't be able to run back and change without seeming unnecessarily busy. So Lana whipped out her wand and looked in her mirror. Her uniform was dull and dry, but it fit her really well. All that she would need to do is switch the uniform later with her created spell.

She began with her shirt. She tapped her shirt once, twice, and with a word, thrice. It suddenly switched out for a plain white tee. She felt it was too plain, so she resigned to throw on a matching leather coat. It wasn't really leather- she made sure of that. It was in fact a fake that she had altered to look more real. It gave off that wonderful look and feel of leather, but nothing had to suffer for it.

She then tapped her straight-laced skirt. It was switched out in favor of a pair of blue denim pants. She even went as far as to replace her shoes with black boots. She completed it all by wearing a conch shell earring. Lana stood in front of the mirror. She looked... nice. She liked the set-up.

Lana quickly ran out to the door, and broke into a brisk walk as she walked out. There were so many students... so many people... Hogwarts looked like SO MUCH FUN. She could barely wait to begin class with these students, to chat with them, hang with them.

The arrival of old school friends and simpering women wearing silk, how wonderful, Elijah thought. The Tri-Wizard Tournament hadn’t been something his ‘loving’ parents had told him about over the summer and Rob and Jen had neglected to inform him of the event. It wasn’t as if it mattered to him much. He was rooting for a death or at least something interesting to happen. He was willing to bet his bottom dollar too that his parents would skip out on the Berlin training to come and watch the event. They wouldn’t forget to harass him though at which point he’d have Jen bring Fauve and Thierry on the grounds. His mother had yet to meet the other child Elijah had picked up in Paris and he couldn’t wait to see the look on her face – a perfect mix of astonishment, hatred and murder...murderous, rather.

Elijah was sitting on the grass outside watching the students from the other schools arrive. He was indulging in a cigarette and enjoying some of the air. Presently he was watching a couple of young Thestrals playing in the shadows of the forest. For some reason they had decided to venture outside and were having a whale of a time, unaware that Elijah was watching them. It had been a long time since he’d gone down to draw them, to feed them also. But they reminded him of Alice. Didn’t everything, though? Even a slight smile, silky blonde hair or snow....it was her. If there were any Veela joining them then he’d probably kick himself then see if he could work them like usual. Elijah tore his eyes away from the Thestrals and found that he had missed the grand arrival of both the ship and the carriage. He rolled his eyes and inhaled some more nicotine before flicking the cigarette away as if it had offended him.

He got up onto his feet and put his hands into the back pockets of his favourite hot pink jeans. He’d boycotted the uniform as a form of basically telling Doyle to sod off. Elijah had never been one for rules no matter what they were. He preferred comfort over whatever the whole reason of school clothing was and right now, although he wasn’t trying to make a statement he sort of was in a way. Elijah hoisted himself up onto a particularly large piece of rock and crossed his legs. He pulled his hoodie over the top of the head and put it on the ground beside him, leaving him with only his black baggy t-shirt on. Elijah was mentally going over welcomes in both respective languages that the schools held. He wasn’t willing to play host though so he’d mutter whatever well-wishing he needed to when the moment arose. Until then, however, he was going to remain silent and watch.

He had a supposed tradition to uphold according to Viktor. He was to become the Champion of Hogwarts. If Elijah was going to be honest he’d rather just get drunk at the after parties. Viktor had been Champion of Durmstrang and their ruddy great ship was sat in the middle of the Black lake. Secretly Elijah wished the Squid would destroy it like the Kraken did with ships in the 1600’s or whenever. Then there was Beauxbatons students...they were pretty spiffy really. The girls weren’t half bad either despite the absence of Veela from what Elijah could see. He yawned and got off of the rock. He grabbed his hoodie and made his way over to where Chase was. He stood beside her and looked despairingly at the Durmstrang ship. “No doubt the entertainment will ensue.” He stated blandly.

Zhanna had been allowed to take a sedative potion for their watery trip due to her immense fear of water and now she was making her way through the main part of the ship to descend onto the grounds. It was terrible she would have to start off feeling weak, but none f the non-Durmstrang students knew and she didn't plan to let them.

She stepped down from the ship, giving the water a leery look and feeling her heart pump faster and harder, though the tiny girl kept a strong, set expression. The ice queen, a heart ad mind of stone. There was a formidable beauty about her demeanor and she knew if she did not panic, she would make it.

She touched down onto the grass and looked around, her furs rustling. It was rather warm here and she already wanted to shed her furs and find something more appropriate. Instead she let her lips slide back into a pointed, reserved smile, her eyes sharply turning to size up the crowd. Weaker ones she could teach to do her bidding, a few worthy males, some people who would no doubt befriend her. To her, it was all a challenge. And if there was one thing Zhanna liked, it was a challenge.

Hogwarts was a positively thrilling place to be but Mathias couldn’t deny the abject feeling of homesickness rising within him. He was terribly far away from his home, from his mother, but he was masking the conflicting feelings well enough. He promised mentally that he would write to her as soon as his hands went to a quill and parchment. He was feeling apprehensive about the whole ordeal and wasn’t sure if he was willing to go along with the ‘entrance’ ideas. That was the girls’ job wasn’t it? To wow the male population of Hogwarts and then the males would come up the rear to take hold of the females’ affections. Mathias truly just wanted to curl up in bed at his home in Paris and go to sleep or at the very least smell his mother’s baking. But all he could smell was musty perfume and horses. Mathias swallowed the urge to gag and rose from his chair. He smoothed out the invisible wrinkles on his uniform and stepped out of the door onto the grass.

The castle was, to be quite frank, beautiful. It was a bizarre piece of architecture. From what Mathias knew of castles, especially around the time this particular one had been created, they were very boxy. The turrets wouldn’t have appeared until much later so perhaps ... well, then again, the Wizarding world had always been advanced where building and architecture had been concerned so it wasn’t entirely unlikely that it had been built around the second century. If he was completely wrong then the building had gone through different phases and by that he meant a lot of different phases. But Mathias thought his other idea seemed more logical than the building going through the phases it would have had to go through if it was to achieve this. It had to have been built all in one go unless the founders were a little bit strange...

Mathias shook his head and plastered a smile on his face. He looked around and came face to ...face...with a pretty big boat. Mathias looked up and found himself looking at the Durmstrang ship. It was a little bit big, yes, and Mathias was willing to admit that he was more than intimidated. “Magnifique!” Mathias breathed excitedly. He just wanted to reach out and touch it but he doubted that that would be allowed. Mathias looked back and began to walk, quickening his pace slightly so he could catch up with Selene and Peter. “Ce qui est beau!” He said to them, a wide smile breaking over his face.

The students were all beautiful, tall, blonde, models in their own way, even if they weren't, they could have been. They were perfection in their own way. Talking quietly in what Chase could recognize as French, but had no idea what they were saying. Chase was standing near the front of her line, and she was startled when she saw Eli come up next to her. She felt a flush go into her cheeks, and she looked at him. Elijah.. who was her best friend, was staring at the Durmstrang ship like it was a horrible object, only to be seen as entertainment. Nevermind the students pouring from it, the students who looked less then happy to be there.

She bit her lip and looked up at Elijah, he was handsome, and could obviously simply choose a girl from the line coming from the Beauxbatons ship and be fine with it. Chase on the other hand... Elijah would never look at her like he might look at those gorgeous models coming out of that ship. Beautiful.. they were all that, even the men in their fine suits that were almost made of silk it seemed. All of them were beautiful, and seemed to be in awe of Hogwarts. But Elijah... he might see them as something else, Chase was in the background, his friend. His friend who had a huge crush on him now that her entire relationship status with her ex boyfriend was broken up into pieces. She knew she would be drinking hot chocolate tonight.

She flicked her head impatiently and then giggled and looked up at Eli. Fluttering her eyelids, and sticking out her hip to one side, puffing up her lips she leaned towards Eli. "I could be just like them don't you think? I could go back with them and be a beautiful Beauxbatons student." She laughed and looked at the people still coming out of the carriage. She played with a strand of her hair and smiled. "Do you think they are real? They kinda look plastic to me.." She said, hoping that making fun of them would make her look less like she idolized them, then just gaping would do. Or better yet fainting like that one girl had done when a guy had smiled at her.

Jack sat up and felt a grin slide onto her face. Here it was, time to have some fun... Her fingers crept towards her bag. Ah, but first... She needed an audience. And who better fitting than some of the lovely foreigns. Her eyes scanned the blue-clad and the fur-clad crowds, trying to find a suitable group. Aha...

Some kid was flipping out over the ship and a girl came to...assist him. She must have been his self-appointed caretaker because she looked like a mother embarrassed over a child's tantrum. Another boy approached and Jack decided this was her audience. They seemed like they would like a...display. (Mathias, Selene, and Peter)

She strode over to them and smiled, hearing a gaggle of French words she did not, and would not, ever understand. She took up a place next to them and shot them all a grin. "Hey, welcome to Hogwarts, I guess." She smirked. "I'm entering the tournament too so I figured I'd drop by and say hey. I'm Jack Dyllan." She thrust out a hand and then said, "Oh," looking as if she remembered something. She thrust her hand into her bag and pulled out a firework, taking a lighter out from her pocket with the other hand. "Hang on." She lit the fuse and turned, pointing it into the sky. It took off and soared into the air where it expolded into a shower of gold and blue. The words WELCOME were spelled out in the sparks. She turned back. "Where were we?"
