Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Sammy had been assigned so much homework over the first week of school that she thought that is was going to take her till the end of the school year to finish the first assignement. She sits in the library, with a pile of books so large that you can't even see her behind them. It so quite in the library as she sits in her chair, wearing her robes, and studying hard. (or was it hardly studying lol) She thinks of her kids at home with her father, and her phone in her pocket that is burning for her to use. But she ignors it and continues to study.

Brienne had a ton of homework that she had to do. Mainly potions, and stuff from other classes. She needed a break from studies, and what better break for the epitome of Ravenclaw spirit than to read a few books? She grabbed a few books and sat beside a Hufflepuff girl that she'd seen a few times before, but never really talked to. She had a pile of homework, just like she did. However, she left hers in the Ravenclaw common room. She flashed a toothy grin at Sammy.

"So, you got a lot of homework? Need help?"

Her ears folded in a friendly way which made her resemble some lovable old mutt, and the way her tail wagged just made her look cute.

Sammy was concentrating so hard on her homework that the smell of dog up her noise surprised her. She had to hold her breath quickly as she looked up to see who it was that was sitting next to her. It was an older girl that she had seen around the castle before but never really got to know. She smiled up at her breifly then looked back down at her papers. "Hi, thanks but I understand it all. It's just alot to handle. I never thought that the 5th year would have this much work to do." Sammy said, realizing that the werewolf was a nice girl. She then realized that there was alot of werewolfs at this school. Where were all the vampires. She missed Sophia being at school. She sighed then looked up again. "My name is Samantha Burns. It's nice to meet you." Sammy said extending her hand for the girl to shake.

Brienne shook the girl's hand, "I'm Brienne Ravenquist. The Epitome of Ravenclaw Spirit!" She smiled softly. "You think that's a lot, wait until you get to Seventh Year. You'll be practically jumping over pits of fire to please your profs, or in the case of me, through a fire hoop". She laughed heartily. Enough with the dog puns, she thought to herself, they might get stale sooner or later....okay, one more. "I'm dog tired, a mangy cur like myself can't get enough rest before having to work. She thought she was being funny, and hoped that the girl appreciated her joke.

Sammy felt the odd hotness from her hand as they shook hands. She had felt it before so it wasn't anything new. She smiled at the girl as she started thinking about her kids again. She missed them dearly. But as she listened to the girl make dog jokes and the girl being a werewolf she couldn't help but laugh. It felt good to laugh. As she got to the hightness of her laughing she heard some kids nearby shhooshing her. She stopped laughing, then looked ove at the girl. "Thanks I needed that. It's been awhile since I laughed. I was starting to think that I couldn't laugh any more." Sammy said to the girl, looking back down at her papers and sighing.

"It's not a problem, it's what I do. I make others laugh when they look down. Y'know what cheers me up? A good book. A good, well written novel. That's what I think you need, yes. A long break and a good book". Brienne smiled her toothy grin, "You hands felt awfully cold, are you sick? Maybe that's why you feel down too, if you're sick. That makes anyone feel down". She felt her tail wagging involuntarily, and her ears pricking straight up. She hadn't realized she was also panting a little. Doggish tendencies got the best of her all the time, it was a curse of being a werewolf that was permanently non-human.

Sammy smiled as the girl mentioned a break and a good book, but books put her to sleep. "Thanks but books really just put me to sleep. What really helps me is hanging out with my friends. But I don't have many of them left here. Most of them have graduated." Sammy said frowning again, thinking about Sophia. She then heard the girl say something about Sammy's hand being cold. Was this girl for real. Did she not know about vampires? "I'm not sure if you know this already or if you could smell me like I can smell you. But I'm a vampire. I have hightened sences, I can smell the dog in you, just like you can smell the vampire on me." Sammy said smiling at her newness to being non-human. "Are you a new werewolf?" Sammy asked her honestly, she loved helping other non-human peoples.

"So that's what that odd smell is. I knew there was some smell that came off of you, but I couldn't quite recognize it. I've not been around any vampires, ever. I do know of them, just never really met one in person" Brienne explained. She never been around any vampires before this one, so the smell wasn't obvious. "I've been a werewolf since I was born. My father, in coitus, wolfed out. That's what caused me to have these deformities including the ears and tail.

Brienne got close to Sam's ear, "Listen. I have a club for non-humans. They can be anything from part Veela to Vampire to Werewolf. I haven't gotten a name for it, yet, but the meetings will be held in the Forbidden Forest".

Sammy smiled, so this girl wasn't new to being a werewolf, she was just new to vampires. Sammy thought this was cute. Ever since she turned she has been around every kind of non-human. Most if not almost all of her friends are non-human. Then she smiled at Brienne's ears and the mention of her tail. She had never met one that had ears and a tail while in human form. "Wow I've never met a werewolf with dog like ears and a tail in their human form. Do you still change at full moons?" Sammy asked her wondering if she had any questions about her vampirism.

Then it came, the mention of another non-human club. Of course this one was nothing compared to the one that her and her husband at the time were co owners of. This one was just a kiddy in the forest secrect meeting one. The one she part owned was one of war, violence and fighting. She thought for a second if she would like to be apart of a non-human faction that had almost nothing to do with fighting, then she smiled. "I would love to be a part of your club. But what will it mainly be about? Just meetings in the forest to get to know the other non-humans at school or something else?" Sammy asked her, while wondering what kind of things they would be doing in the forest other than talking.

"I still change, but I've been taking Wolfsbane that my friend Daniel makes," Brienne said. "How are you able to go to classes, anyway? Especially ones at night? Don't Vampires burn up in the sunlight?" She was curious about how that worked. Then, she heard the question of the club, "It's not only to meet other non-humans, it's also a secret gathering for a faction that is against the tyrant rule of the teachers here. They're DEs. There is also a group of people pushing to get the non-humans kicked out of Hogwarts. We need to stop them." Brienne looked really serious in both her facial expression and sounded so in her tone of voice.
