Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

It been a long day for Sophia and she was ready to call it quit and not to mention her stomach was growling telling her it was lunch time. Deciding to head back to The Leaky Cauldron for some lunch Sophia walked through the crowded street of Diagon Alley heading back towards the Cauldron wiht many pushing and shoving. After a couple of minutes of pushing her way through the crowd she fianlly made her way to the portal to open it. Getting out her wand she tapped on the bricks as she pocketed her wand and stood back watching the portal open to a back alley behind the Leaky Cualdron. Smiling to herself she walked through it and into the dim lit pub known as the Leaky Cauldron.

Looking around she noticed it was quite busy which made her frown but then smiled as she seen her favorite booth open. Walking quickly towards it she sat down knowing what she wanted but waiting for the waitress. Looking out the window Sophia noticed it was snowing outside which made her smile as she watched the snow outside. In deep thought until the waitress came by Sophia snapped away from the window and ordered her food and drink. As the waitress wrote it down and took off Sophia looked at the window one last time before she gotten a book out and started reading it hoping for some company.

Why was it that Andrew wanted to go to the Leaky Cauldron? He wasn't going back to beg for his job, that was for sure. He was perfectly fine the way he was at the moment, having a well income coming in from America. Sure it was muggle money, but the money exchanges were still available. No, he was going because he hadn't been there in a while and wanted to see the rest of the staff once more. He had not seen them for a while and wondered if they were all still there. Hopefully they would and he would be able to see all of them once more before he would head back up to Hogwarts for the rest of his studies. It wasn't unusual for Andrew to leave Hogwarts anyway, he did it all the time since he had obtained his ability of Invisibility. It was due to the Siren, but apparently when he got Merlin's gloves it became permanent and a lot stronger.

Continuing on his path, he moved at a faster pace to avoid the snow and the blistering cold. It was irritating to say the least to try and get places with the cold smashing into his face like a uncontrolled car crash. But he continued on still, hoping to get there sooner and sooner. After a moment of trudging in the snow, he finally reached the Leaky Cauldron. Without a moments notice, he pushed the doors open, releasing a burst of cold air into the room. Closing it quickly, he paced over to the front counter, suprised to see the entire staff different. He was apprently too late. He sighed with disappointment and asked for a butterbeer. Great.

Sophia looked up from her book as she heard the door opening but as she seen who walked in she couldn't believe her eyes. "No it can't be."thought Sophia to herself as she looked at Andrew once more to make sure it was him. "Ok that got to be him unless I'm mistaken."said Sophia softly to herself as she bookmarked her book and put it back in her bookbag. As the waitress set down her butterbeer she smiled and tahnked her and took it and walked over towards Andrew. "Um... hello Andrew, long time no see."said Sophia softly not really having anything else to say.

Sophia didn't know why her and Andrew really didn't have much in common she guessed it was because it was sort of weird meeting him after she dated his brother. "No Sophia, get that thought out of your head he's dead and your WAY over him!"said thought to herself. Although Sophia would never admit every time she saw Andrew it reminded her of Danny. "Oh god not again, I don't need this."Sophia thought to herself as she shook it off. "So... um... you want to sit down? I have a booth we can sit in."said Sophia softly as she took a sip of her butterbeer. "Talk about awkward this is it."Sophia thought to herself as she looked out the window and watched the snow.

[Sorry this toke forever, just haven't had some spare time lately, with everything and all.]

Andrew turned to see Sophia, his brothers old lover standing there before him. Once again, some sort of awkwardness was ensued as Sophia began to talk to him. Andrew had nothing to say really, but he wouldn't be rude to Sophia, no matter how weird this was. "Alright then," he said nodding his head up and down in confirmation. Andrew just couldn't find the right words to say anything, it had been a long time since he had last saw her in the Hogs Head and even longer since the assassination in Africa. It was just weird.

Andrew waited for his butterbeer however, using the time to try and think of something to say. It was as if you were talking to your aunt or something, he knew Danny had been very close and was always having a hard time trying to find something to say. Well he would at least try and get the conversation moving. "Soph?" he asked, walking over to her "How have you been lately? I mean...it has been a while since that whole murder in Africa."

As he walked over towards her and asked how she was she shrugged for alot haven't been happening to her that much anymore."I been alright I guess, I had alot of up and down days like my mother dying, being kidnapped by Feliz Barker.and death eaters"said Sophia softly. "What about you, how you been?"Sophia asked him softly. Sophia was glad they were at lease talking instead of awkward silence that they usually had. As silence filled the air Sophia took a drink of her butterbeer and looked outside the window and watched the snow fall.

Sophia kept to herself now days for so didn't want to get in anymore trouble then she already did by getting kidnapped all the time. Instead of being soft and gentle Sophia had closed herself up not letting anyone to close to her for she was afraid to get to close. Sophia knew she was closing people out but it was probably for the best. Sophia been hurt so many times she was afraid to get anymore she didn't know how much more of it she could take. Sophia may seem bulletproof but she wasn't she was a vampire girl that had emotions and didn't like being used like a rag doll by people like Barker or death eaters.
