Nerezza v Jaquellene

OOC: The first person that replies will be her dueler. AND I don't care who it is anymore. Just someone that posts a decent sized paragraph or more would be nice and someone that actually gets hit, too. I noticed that a lot of people weren't so yeah. What's the fun in that?

IC: Nerezza walked into the Drawing Room and smiled, her lips curling into that mirthless smile. Blood dripped from her wounds, making red droplets onto the ground with each step she made. Her black hair was dampened with sweat and she was looking through the strands of midnight set in front of her face. Her wand was held lazily to her side, giving her the faint appearance that she was not aware of anything around her. But, she was the Dragon now. She saw everything that was in front of her.

Eager to find someone, she exclaimed, "COME OUT, COME OUT, WHEREVER YOU ARE!" She cackled wildly, the sound rippling with poisonous disease. Smiling with her perfect white teeth, she looked around her, licking up blood that fell smoothly down her nose from a cut upon her forehead, landing delicately upon her eager tongue. She wanted more, but not her own. She wanted to taste someone else's.

Jack stumbled into another room, following the sounds of manic screaming, desperate now to do her part. Anything to help. She had become distracted trying to help Daniel, and now she needed to get back to the battle. But it seemed the battle had splintered into many small duels, scattered across the house. She adjusted her slipping mask and stopped dead when she saw who else was in the room.

It was that Nerezza woman. From what Jack had seen, the female Death Eater was basically insane. And the sight before her did not make her feel any better either. The woman had blood falling down her face, and she was laughing, licking up the spilled blood.

Jack stood up straighter, squaring her shoulders. Just because she was sure this was an uneven match, didn't mean she wasn't going to give it her all. And besides, she was sure an Order member or Potter's Army person was right behind her...Right?

She licked her lips and said, "Here I am." She flicked her wand, aiming right at the woman. "Stupefy!"

Nerezza whipped around, flicking up a bounce back shield to deflect her hex. She smiled, crimson blood staining her perfectly white teeth with her own agonizing pleasure. Her wand fell to her side again as she stared at the girl before her, looking to be only sixteen. She had some nerve getting close to Nerezza like this. But, with a cold smile, she waved her wand in the air towards the door, a red X appearing on its wooden flank. Then, without casting another spell, she began to pace back and forth before Jack, her crimson eyes flashing from red to black every few seconds. She wanted to see blood on someone else and she wanted to kill. What the hell did she have to do to get what she wanted around here?

Smirking, she suddenly stopped, facing Jack head on. She appeared as a feral animal watching its prey, calculating its next move. Nerezza had an unfair advantage, but she didn't really mind. It wasn't as if she played fair anyway. Where was the fun in that? Cackling wildly, her black hair whipping around her face as she shook it from side to side, she exclaimed, "You think yourself to be brave, don't you, child? You can't be a day older than sixteen, barely an adult. How pitiful it is to have to do this to you, but you did put yourself into this situation. I only hope you're more fun than I believe you to be."

Giggling horribly, she slashed her wand violently in the air once more, her heart racing furiously through her chest. She sent a Sectumsempra curse at the girl, wanting to see her blood, to feel it upon her hands. Then, twirling about as if she were a macabre ballerina, she hurled an onslaught of Cruciatus Curses at the girl, eager for a scream. Yells were always comforting to the demented Italian. Maybe hearing this girl do such a thing would calm her down, maybe just slightly.

Jack ducked as the stunning spell rebounded and she felt it rush past her shoulder, warming the air around her. Jack stood back up stoically. She was prepared for a lot of things, though looking like a frightened fool was not one of them. If she had to die today, it would not be the death of a coward or a fool. Though, watching the demented woman dance back and forth, she was beginning to doubt her logic.

The deed was done now. Nerezza stopped and faced her, her cold eyes meeting Jack's own fixed gaze. Jack stared back at her, heart thumping madly. The woman began to taunt her and one of Jack's greatest flaws began to work to her advantage; pride. Jack was not a baby; she would be seventeen very soon. She could handle herself.

Nerezza made a slashing movement and Jack began to dodge but the spell clipped her in the face. She was flung backwards, blood spilling, but she wiped the blood away, looking up in time to see the woman aiming curses at her like mad. Jack rolled and then jumped to her feet, dodging like a mad person. Quidditch had come in handy; though as a Beater, she preferred facing things head on.

But you don't face an Unforgiveable Curse head on, now do you.

There was such a mighty onslaught of curses that she wasn't able to dodge them all and the last one hit her, but she had been moving so she did not get the full effect. Still, it felt like her insides were breaking. She bit her lip and fell to one knee, refusing to scream as her eyes watered and her body seized involuntarily, jerking and thrashing. Then it was over. She stood, breathing heavily and letting out a small involuntary groan, but refusing to satisfy the Death Eater any more than that. She flicked her wand. "Bombardo!"

She had never used the exploding charm on a person, but she knew that it was supposed to throw them backwards. Jack was never one for traditional dueling spells. She often through hexes and jinxes to catch her opponent off guard.

(BTW I don't mind Jack getting beat up pretty bad, you can mess her up a bit, I just don't want her to die or have any life-affecting ailments. Scars are cool. =])

[[I'm so sorry i didn't reply. Are we still allowed to duel it out or has Jess declared it over? I was busy this weekend so I would have replied, but I just didn't have the time. She and Rezza could always do it another day, if you'd like. ]]

((Erm...I'm not sure...I have been told by some people that we are not allowed to continue, and by others that its up to us, so I'm confused. I've already RPed Jack leaving the house too. And its okay, real life gets in the way sometimes, haha))

((Well you can still RP I guess since it is a past event, but the only reason I said to get out was because if you came back to the RoR and then got a new wound in fighting, it would get confusing xD))

OoC:You guys should finish it off though. Jess said to finish off all duels and for Order/PA to get out of there asap.
