Team 5 vs. Team 6

Remember that you will be marked upon realistic roleplaying, and the awesomeness of the spells you use and how you use them.

Also make sure to put a LINE under your IC post and list all the spells you used in your post.

Keith sauntered out into the arena, glancing around. Unfortunately, there were no small, loose objects he could throw at people, in case all else failed. Luckily he had a seventh year on his team however, and a talented seventh year at that. Maybe, with him running around screaming like a maniac, the other team would ignore Arthur enough to let him wrap this duel up on his own.

Ami walked into the dueling arena with a smirk on her face, this was her second duel, but her first with a partner, she knew Alice from a distance but never really interacted with her, Ami prayed that the other girl knew what she was doing.

As she walked in, Ami noticed no one other than Keith, her opponent, was there. She sighed, her wand was in her back pocket, she clutched it, ready to duel at any minute.

Arthur was wearing his black robe and his dark brown suit. He held his wand in his hand. His partner was a certain Keith Nichols, a Ravenclaw boy whom he did not know so well. He entered the Dueling Arena, Wilson's second classroom. He had been here, although he had not practiced here so much. He saw his name and his year, and then the year of his parter. His eyes widened. ''Bloody hell.... I got a baby in diapers for a partner. Hell!'', he thought. He turned to the arena and saw two people. One a girl and a small boy. He knew who his partner was. He went to him, but stood for a moment to bow to Aminia, and then continued. ''Chap, you must be Nichols. I am Arthur.'', he said calmly looking at the boy.

Keith nodded, looking Arthur up and down. He certainly looked like he could handle himself in a duel. "Sorry about being paired up with me. I'm not an idiot, I know I'm at a bit of a disadvantage." Keith admitted, motioning Arthur off to the side so they could talk without being overheard. "But I'm an excellent meat shield and distraction. Unless you have a better idea, my goal is to draw attention off you, and if that fails, take your hits for you. Hopefully you can hit them from behind or something. Sound good?"

Ami looked around and noticed Arthur, a kid she had classes with, she gave a half grin, and began to pace impatiently, her partner was no where around and the match was about to begin.

Ami sighed as she noticed she was partner less, she stepped up to the platform and bowed to the boys, she pulled her wand out from her back pocket and lifted it, aiming it at Arthur, 'Confundus' she thought. Ami was determined to try her hardest, she was going to do what she could to win the duel.

Arthur pointed his wand. ''Protego'', he said and deflected the spell. ''Oh, come on. This is not a challenge. Impedimenta'', he said firing the spell at Aminia.

Protego - shield charm
Impedimenta - a jinx which slows or stops an object or individual, effectively immobilising them for a short period of time.

Nodding briskly to Arthur and bowing to Amina, Keith yanked out his wand. He had to distract Amina while staying out of Arthur's way. "Expelliarmus!" Keith shouted, aiming for Amina. He saw Arthur contemptuously block Amina's curse and respond with his own, and he grinned. Now that the initial volleys were over, it was time to get creative. Whipping his wand towards the floor, he braced himself. "Expelliarmus!" This time the spell hit the floor below him, sending a small bit of dust and gravel flying free. He dodged left, then right, just to throw Amina off, and scooped up a handful of gravel before breaking into a run. He ducked again for good measure before leaping into the air a few feet in front of Amina.

Time seemed to slow.

Keith's hand tightened around the gravel before he let it fly at Amina'a face. It would not cause any damage per se, but it would distract Amina for a few crucial seconds - seconds Arthur could use. "Go Arthur!" He shouted as he hit the ground, trying to scamper away before Amina could regain focus.

Expelliarmus- Disarms opponent, aimed at Amina

Expelliarmus- Aimed at the ground for mild force. Knocked a few bits of gravel loose, which Keith then hurled at Amina.
