And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"That is the only thing I'm ever going to want," she whispered, kissing him. Just as she did, her inept cook arrived, apologizing profusely, saying she had resolved her issues and was ready to work. Khaat turned the restaurant over to her. "I'm going back to work now that she is in safe hands, " Robert laughed and apparated out of the restaurant altogether. "Well, it seems that I have nothing else to do today except pay attention to you. Should we go home?" she asked. "Well, I might have to conjure up a wedding dress, maybe. I presume you have a tux? And we might want to tell the kids--maybe." She laughed and kissed him. "Take me home, Rob. It'll all work out."

Vincent Majere was staying at the Leaky Cauldron for the weekends. It was difficult really, being the headmaster of the whole castle and having to do ministry work. He was however, slowly drifting away from the ministry. The trial of Ne'os Emof, the reason he was here, was showing him how corrupt the ministry was becoming under Gabrielle Delacour. He had just woken up the morning before the trial, scheduled late afternoon. Not feeling like having a breakfast at the Leaky Cauldron he decided to go to the new shop everyone was talking about, Sparks.

He also hoped that he would run into Khaat here. She was always interesting to talk to, and Vincent would like to see what she was up to as well. Perhaps he would just go to the bistro to congratulate her really, make her even more confused about him, for currently she seemed to think of him as some maniacal villain. But she still did have to repay her debts to him.

It wasn't hard to find the shop, placed right next to a bookshop. He stood outside, hesitating, before rolling his eyes and entering through the door. He looked around and immediately saw Khaat, having a little romantic moment with Robert Dent, whom Vincent knew a little. He had been teaching at Hogwarts until a couple weeks ago. "Ah Khaat, good morning. I just wanted to talk to you. But it seems like you are too.. busy," he sneered.

"I'm never too busy for you, Vincent," she managed some saccharin sweetness for him. "Come in. Care to look at our lunch menu?" She picked up a menu. "Do you prefer close to the fireplace or away from it?" She knew Rob would pick up quickly on how she dealt with Vincent and would be able to follow along easily.

Rob ducked his head a little a bit his lip. Sure he was pissed that Majere decided to stall their 'together time' once they got home but it was the fact that he looked like a tramp that bothered Rob the most. He felt like one as well which wasn't too great either. At least he smelt okay -- that was the only redeeming thing about how he looked and felt. Other than that he wanted to stick his head in the sand. It was awkward it made Rob feel a little ill. The guy was a complete and utter bastard yet for some reason he'd saved Khaat on numerous occasions now. Rob knew that she was a thorn in Majere's side but he continued to inadvertently save her life which was more than Rob could do. The guy could have let her die at any point yet she was still alive.

He'd have to thank the guy eventually but he was inferior to the man and Rob knew it. The guy was the Headmaster of Hogwarts and pretty influential in the Ministry if he was right. What was Rob? A ladies man that had gotten caught out. That was pretty much how the guys at the reserve saw it and would always comment on it. He knew that he was stuck and he had been more of an idiot than he had intended on being but he couldn't disappear -- again. Well he could but he was pretty sure that Robert and Jen would team up, hunt him down and curse his balls off. Smart move by Dent.

"Err.. I'm glad we could finally meet, Vincent." Rob said, pulling himself out Khaat's embrace so he could face the man.

Vincent stood in stark contrast with Dent. Vincent's hair was short and brushed, he was clean shaven, and dressed in the most expensive robes buyable. Dent meanwhile, looked quite like a tramp. He raised his eyebrows at Khaat for a moment before shaking hands with the man, letting go quickly. "Glad to meet you too, Mr.Dent," Vincent replied, clearly stating that they were not on first name basis.

"No thank you Khaat, I just wanted a quick word..." he said, not really wanting to dine while the man was here. "But if you are too busy, I could leave."

"No, that's fine. Rob, could you please go check on the chef please? Make sure she doesn't mess up what I've started? Please?" She watched him disappear obediently into the kitchen but knew he wouldn't leave while Vincent was here. "Do you at least drink coffee?" she asked, pouring herself a fresh cup, "Or tea?" She poured him a cup of the Earl Gray. She figured him to be a rather no nonsense tea drinker. Probably not a spiced tea sort of guy. And she had bought the finest quality Earl Gray available. She handed him the large stoneware mug. "There is cream and sugar on the tables. Come sit down and tell me what's on your mind." She led the way to a table.

Vincent, smiling slightly, watched as Robert Dent left to the kitchens. He then watched as Khaat poured some tea for him. Somehow, she seemed to have known he preferred tea over coffee. Odd. He went and sat down opposite to her. "Well Khaat, I wanted to say congratulations on opening this bistro," he said calmly, managing a warm smile. Somehow. "However, that is not all I want to talk about. I wanted to talk about the trial today."

"Thank you, VIncent," she smiled appreciatively, "I have wanted Diagon Alley to have someplace to eat that served a notch up from pub grub for a long time. I hope it goes over well. So, you said you wanted to talk about the trial. What's on your mind? I did know you would be there. I know Ne'Os would not be coming back before the court and not have you there. That's fine by me, actually. I do want you to know that I do not have any self appointed agenda other than to do my best to see that the trial is run fairly. I have no personal preference whether he is convicted or acquitted. I do want the proceedings to be fair. That's all. If I had some agenda, I would tell you."

Expensive, silver high heels hit the cobbled road that ran through Diagon Alley and a delicate figure of a woman moved through the milling crowd of people that were in the Alley early trying to get good deals from the various stores. Jenifer Dent was going to Sparks, the new Bistro that had opened. Her brother had come home from the Romanian Dragon Reserve and she was eager to see him. Jenifer knew all about the dragons chasing her brother everywhere and couldn't wait to hear his version of events -- it would be interesting to listen to.

Jenifer walked around the back of the Bistro and opened the door of the kitchen. She stepped inside and found her brother trying to teach the obviously incompetent chef how to cook. He looked like a tramp and Jenna felt repulsed slightly before gaining composure once more. She took off her coat and hung it up on one of the apron hooks. She smoothed out the ruffles on her mini-dress and grinned at her brother who had looked in her direction.

"Don't you like my dress, Rob?" she teased.

Her brother bristled and Jen shook her head. She walked over the space in the wall where the waitresses would hang the orders on little spinning holders. She peered out and spotted Khaat sitting with a very, very handsome individual. Jenifer smiled to herself and licked her lips in anticipation. He looked snarky and seemed hard to please but she knew she could do it -- no doubt about it.

"Who's the heartthrob, Robbie?" she asked in interest, looking over her shoulder at her brother. "Damn, I'd love to have a slice of that." Jen looked him up and down, mentally ticking all of the boxes on her sheet of male requirements. He was interesting to say the least and was someone Jenifer definitely wanted to get involved with.

Rob looked his sister up and down. He was disgusted with her clothing choice but that was just Jenny through and through. She meant well most of the time and was a pretty happy person but she dressed like a Knockturn Alley whore. It wouldn't have surprised Rob at all if she was one herself. He would have been disturbed to no end but it wouldn't be unlike something she'd do.

"No I don't Jen," Rob said seriously as he put his frying pan down. He flipped a tea towel onto his shoulder and narrowed his eyes at his sister. "You look like a whore."

He picked up a fish slice and handled it to the chef who immediately began to try and turn the fillets of meat over that were cooking in the frying pan that she had on the hob. He smiled slightly. She was an awful cook but caught on pretty well with the easy tasks. She could be a great chef's hand. Rob turned around and walked over to the waitress hole in the wall. He followed his sisters line of sight and instantly straightened up. She wanted to get into Majere's pants? Yuck.

"That's Vincent Majere, the Headmaster of Hogwarts. He's a snarky bastard that could probably rival Severus Snape if he were alive. Apparently though, he only has eyes for Khaat. He is one man I'd love to see the back of right now so feel free to dig your claws in, babes." he looked over her and saw a pretty necklaces hanging and shining in the light. It had diamonds set in it and Rob noticed right away that it was the Star of David. He smiled at his sister and gestured to it. "That's pretty, where did you get it?"
