What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Khaat was curious about Jack's message, about why Jess wanted to see her. But she wasn't about to ignore it. She went to Jess's house as soon as she could get away from the breakfast crowd at her house that morning. She had taken the time to bake Jess a loaf of fresh bread--her favorite Hawaiian sweet bread recipe. It was gentle on the stomach and she had bought some fresh homemade butter from a muggle farm on the way. If Jess had a queasy stomach, this would ease her nausea.

She knocked on the door and waited.

Jessica wasbusy placing cups in a coboard then taking them back out as she heard a faint knock, finding the elves busy elsewear she plcedhe cup she haled down and moved to the door opening it so see Khaat "Khaat, just the person i was hoping for, come in"she said stepping to one side to let her pass "tea?" she asked

"That would be very nice," Khaat said, coming in. "If it isn't a bother. Jack came by this morning and said you wanted to see me. You look well. Looks like those death eaters at my house last night didn't upset you any more than necessary. That's good. They aren't really going to hurt anybody at this point, I don't think. I think they just want to try to scare me, and I don't scare that easily."

Jess nodded as she heard her accept her tea offer , movinginto the kitchen she spoke as she gatherd her things "if you call feeling like your carrying a lead weight on your front ok , then yes i am fine" she chuckled as she set down a tray of two cups and a tea pot "thankyou for teh potions they work a treat" she pored a cup and handed it to Khaat then sat down leving her cup for a moment "he didn't hint at why?" she asked wondering ifhe'd let slip why she wanted to talk to her.

"No. He didn't. I had several guests for breakfast, so he and I didn't get much of a chance to talk. I think he got to talk to some of last night's houseguests a little more while we ate. Oh, yes, he did join us, and I was glad to have him." Khaat took a sniff of her tea. It smelled wonderful. She always appreciated someone who brewed a really good cup of tea. She tasted it. "Delicious," she smiled. "Making good tea is an art. You do it well. Very good tea. So--what's on your mind, Jess?"

jess smiled as she complimented her on her tea "well making potions and brewing tea are similer in away , just the right amout of what you need in the right quantitys" she said taking a sip of her own with held the anti nausia potion Khaat had given her. She sighed as she looked at her "ok , as you know i have no family to speack of" she said now looking into her cup at the warm brown tea inside , slowly she looked up at her "I would like ,if you could,.." she paused " would you give me away at the wedding ?" she said quickly her hert now seeming to be the only sound she could hear as she waited.

jess smiled "feburay 14th, jack chose it " she said now feeling relaxed again "ow did he ask Gar if he would be his best man yet?" she asked taking a sip of her tea and feeling her nausia disapear once more. she shifted as she felt a push against her from inside her "you know with twins you get twice as many kicks "she said rubbing where she had felt it.

"Yes, he did," Khaat smiled, "And Gar said yes. By the way, Gar is a very talented street performer. A lot of acrobatics and magic. Jack asked him to perform at the wedding. I think you'll enjoy it. he's very good."
