Welcome to Potter’s Army

Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Time to heal Empty Time to heal

Post by Guest Fri Jan 08, 2010 12:26 am

It was time for Amadora to do something about the abrasions in her skin. She'd been trying to heal them for a weak or so as well as the broken ribs she'd acquired through numerous attacks during the day. She tried with all of her might to heal with whatever resources she had but it was getting cold out. Her house had no heating and the old log fire had been blocked off long ago and she was never strong enough to push the metal away from it.

She appeared with a crack inside the Apparation zone of St. Mungos and felt another bone snap. She was beyond ill and could feel the glamour’s on her body start to give out and weaken. She wrapped the little leather coat tighter around her and winced at the pressure it had on her ribs. Dora walked out into the foyer of St. Mungos and took a seat on the soft upholstery. She sighed and focused on returning the glamour’s to what they were. She wasn't strong enough for this - not now.

Jack was walking along the seating area he was wearing his healer robes he paused at Amadora "excuse me miss are you ok?" he asked knowing it sounded stupid to ask but couldn't think of a way to ask what was wrong with her.

Time to heal Empty Re: Time to heal

Dora looked up at the sound of a voice and her eyes immediately lowered. She shouldn't have come. What could she honestly say to them when they asked what was wrong? She had no explanation for them and certainly couldn't tell the truth. She'd be whisked of to the ward where all the nut jobs were quicker than she could say Quidditch. The glamour’s were starting to flicker away and the scars that wrapped around her body were beginning to show. The long, deep and poorly healed ones that marred her face were completely visible and she knew the rest were beginning to appear.

She sighed and looked up once more. Her jaw was clenched and she tried to ignore any repulsion that would show on the man's face. She released the tension in her jaw and spoke softly. "I'd like to see a Healer please."

Jack saw her glamor spell wearing off he didn't give a surprised look in fact it barely shocked him. "Well your in luck i am a healer" He said "If you will come with me i will take you to one of our wards and you can explain to me your problem."
