Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Evening [James Wake] Empty Evening [James Wake]

Post by Darien de Ramiére Fri Jan 01, 2010 4:52 pm

Alice walked to Quidditch Stadium and smiled gaily, when she noticed, that she was alone. She walked to dais and sat on the second bench. Her eyes moved, when she watched birds, who were flying over stadium.

Evening [James Wake] Empty Re: Evening [James Wake]

James did not like broomsticks. He had had many bad experiences with them, most involving broken limbs and a complete abandonment of the wooden stick. He preferred the ground, where falling only resulted in shinned knees, and not splintered leg bones.
James had spent a good hour trying to keep up a working relationship with the tempermental broom his uncle had given him, but it just had not worked out. So now, James found himself on a bench, marking out inaccuracies in the DADA book. With erasable ink of course. It had now become his main pass time. He couldn't help but notice someone else enter the stadium, smiling and watching the sky.

"Afternoon," he called out to the girl three benches away.

Alice flinched, when someone called her. She saw boy, who she didn't noticed before, sitting few benches away and smiled. "Hi," she said gaily, but little coolly.

"Hi." James was about to start reading again, but thought better of it. It was "rude" to ignore somebody once they noticed you. He clapped the book shut, terminating any hope of opening it until he moved to another comfortable room. "What brings you here?"

Alice canted her head, when she heard boy's question. "I don't know exactly. I think, that I am just bored," she answered. Then Alice crinkled her eyebrows and asked: "What about you?" She didn't knew, which house he was from, but she wasn't very intrested either.

"I like reading. I don't like the rooms of Hogwarts." James couldn't help but wonder who this girl was, but he didn't let it show. He had a fair inkling that he had seen once or twice in the hallways, so that meant she posed no violent threat. Ace was almost disappointed by that. "Which house are you from?"

Alice smiled. "Slytherin. And you?" she answered. Alice loved to be in Slytherin, even when she wasn't so... evil, like others.

"Lucky. Slytherin was my top choice. At least I wouldn't have to pretend I wasn't from Durmstrang. I'm in Ravenclaw, which is not too bad." He got up and stretched a bit. "Name's James. What's yours?"

Alice nodded. At least he wasn't from Gryffindor. "I am Alice," she answered gaily. "How old are you?" she asked finally.

"Well that's a bit rude," James retorted. He crossed his arms but smiled, amused. "What am I? Some kind of open book?"
That's just cruel my friend.
It's just an honest question.
Give it to her straight!
And get some Cheesecake later!

The voices in James' head were starting to become nuisances once more. What a surprise.
