Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Gazing upon the lake [Aden] Empty Gazing upon the lake [Aden]

Nicholas gazed out across the lake, his arm’s folded and his expression void of any emotion. Christabelle was somewhere in the castle, he would go in and see her but he needed some fresh air and the lake seemed like the best place too be. The coldness from the water mingled with the wind around the grounds making for a rather cold atmosphere. There was no-where in Hogwarts he wanted to be anymore, wherever he looked there were scum, vampires and werewolves, in his classes, in his common room, it was despicable. None were more so than that Ne’Os Emof, sharing a dormitory with that boy was like sharing your home with a rather ugly dog. He ran his pale hands through his hair as he sighed to himself, his eyes closed slightly as his breathing became heavier.

Nicholas’s appearance had changed quite considerably over the past week or so. He had lost all his apetite and seemed too have the look of someone just recovering from a bad cold around him. His eyes were sullen and their were bags gathering under him. His complexion seemed paler and he was definitely thinner than he ever had been. His long black school robes seemed to hang around him, no longer fitting his new body. It was around four oclock and although school had finished he still stood in his uniform. The white shirt and Slytherin tie, the black jumper and trousers, the loafers. He did not feel like heading back to the dormitory lest Emof or that werewolf insulted his presence. Hogwarts should have stayed a place for wizards, it seemed that the castle was going to the dogs, no matter, things would be sorted out in time. Sighing again he opened his eyes and spoke sadly “This place holds nothing for me. Why should someone like me have to walk amongst such filth. Heaven seems to have deserted me…” It was a tad dramatic but that was Nicholas.

Gazing upon the lake [Aden] Empty Re: Gazing upon the lake [Aden]

Aden was walking down by the lake he had just been stood up, this being the first time this has ever happened to him, because the girl went off gallivanting with a werewolf. This was the half breed third offense to Aden, and each offense watered a seed of hatred towards them. Now that seed had a bud, but no blossom. It would need guidance to blossom, and the light from something as passionate as the sun to produce those pedals. Fate seemed to dote upon this flower as across the lake Nick.

Aden didn't know it, but Nick was just the thing he was searching for. Aden had his head down somberly while his trance led him to nick. It was nicks word that brought Aden out of it. “This place holds nothing for me. Why should someone like me have to walk amongst such filth. Heaven seems to have deserted me…” not really noticing it a connection was made and Aden answered in dark tone, " It does hold something for you a chance to get rid of that filth, and a chance to show Heaven you can do with out... At least such is my hope right now."

Nicholas turned his head slowly, his eyes falling upon the Gryfindor that was Aden William’s. The two boys did not know each other, though they had met briefly in France a couple of months ago. It seemed like a decade ago though so the boy’s features were new too him and he gazed for a moment, listening to his words. When he finished Nicholas turned fully to face him, he smiled a small smile and tilted his head to the side, allowing his fringe to fall slightly across his face. The boys words seemed almost poetic, a troubled soul indeed. Nick would reply in that dreamy tone he tended to use when jumping into a monologue, though he knew this setting was not ideal for a rant “You seem troubled by something, something that has perhaps gotten the better of you more than once, pushing you to the edge of reasoning. Why else would you speak in such tones? I wonder what could have riled up a Gryfindor, arent you all supposed to be noble and pure? I would have thought you would have risen above it?” Nicholas had picked up on the words Aden had used, more importantly the use of the word “Filth.” Smiling Nicholas turned back to the lake, gazing out across its watery surface “I cant imagine a Gryfindor joining the Death Eaters, so I figure that the filth you speaking of exterminating are not the mud-bloods, though odder thing’s have happened I guess. But no…” Nick turned back to face Aden “I think you have finally decided that Hogwarts and half-breeds don’t mix. Am I right? Have you come here looking for some help in getting rid of anyone in particular?” He added casually, his voice remaining calm and composed.

(Haha late reply...)

"Gryfindor's may be noble, but people determinations and ideals of Nobel differ, as right now my determination would be to kill Filth."
Aden waited for Nick to finish his sentence before he continued. Nick from what Aden knew was a fairly intellectual man, and that certainly shown through in his words. They were crafted and articulated with a goal in mind, Aden like mouse who smelt cheese at the end of a maze would follow his base instincts without concern or thought. "Now i Don't think that they do not belong at this school, as much as i dont think they belong at all... They are accidents meant to scourge this earth with infernal idocracy which is constantly spewed from their lips of poison."
